This item replaced the original Egg cover which was snug but have become completely brittle, so much so that the cover just fell apart when the top handle was used. The replacement is a one size fits all and although significantly lighter it is too big for my medium egg on a nest. The wind can easily blow this cover off unless you wrap the velcro straps around the bottom. It is expensive for the resulting ill fit cover.
Well made and withstands high winds whilst covering the egg.

I've been a longtime Big Green Egg owner and was very impressed with the original cover I purchased. It was a heavy-duty, custom-fit cover that protected my BGE perfectly for years. Unfortunately, this replacement I recently bought is a significant step down in quality. The fabric is much thinner, and the universal fit for multiple sizes means it's loose and flaps in the wind. It feels flimsy and cheap compared to the original, I cant see it lasting as long. The new version is really disappointing and would have preferred a cover of the same high quality as before, or at least one that fits properly.

Needed more straps
As with all things Big Green Egg, it is on the pricey side but so far so good. It fits well and is currently waterproof. The real test will be whether it is still doing the job in 2 to 3 years time.

Excellent quality and good fit As this is a high end item built for outdoors ( and expensive) I think it should be included with the package as a gesture of goodwill Hoping it will protect the egg for many years

Reasonable quality, but you could by a non branded on much much cheaper
Nice durable cover to protect the Egg and stand from the weather. Comes with a handy rubber handle at the top to simplify removal.
Very poor. Flimsy and light breeze blows off the egg; nowhere near as substantial as the original cover. Very expensive at £86 for a light flimsy cover, not impressed.
