The quality of the band is great, it's not worth the money as it's expensive but there's no other option.

This was the part I dreaded. However, it came with all the necessary parts (and a spare screw/nut!) and the detailed instructions made installation much easier than I had anticipated. Alignment of top and bottom parts seemed to happen automaticallyand I'm very happy with my new non-rusty bands and hinge assembly.

Having had a green egg for the last 11 years or so the old hing band mechanism had finally failed thequadra link is a vast improvement on the old system, very easy to install and fearless onerous regarding the spring system when working on it.
