This is for Camberley branch
In store staff where ok this is more about after sales mangers and their lack of customer service/support
Brought a car and in the the first few days had issues with a Engine noise which the would book in for checks 3weeks down the line not acceptable
I then found a garage myself and they sorted it in no time at all
Then a few days later a tyre and tracking issues, tracking out and tyre perishable
But not flagged at mot a few weeks earlier
Staff / management taking to long to answer emails or calls and being told they would only give a £100 including vat as a good will gesture what a insult after the thousands I spent with them buying the car
I would never recommend this company to anyone going by my experience

Short test drive. Meeting was late and felt like they were pushing extras that I didn’t want too much. Didn’t put the right deposit down I wanted on the finance sheet. Wouldn’t probably go back there.

Poor customer service, left sitting and waiting in the showroom. Very brusque sales person. Was not a great experience

Charlie (Sales guy) was super helpful and went through the multitude of options to me, without the usual 'pushy sales' tactics. Everything was made clear to me and all my queries where answered fully, with clarify. The whole experience was very smooth!

Thanks to the Staff Andrew and Hamzah for accommodating us when we choose the car and did a test drive last 18 April 2026. Yesterday. we went back to pick up the car, it was also smooth transaction of payment and processing of documents. I am satisfied

I wasn’t expecting anything good but jt was worse. Booked an appointment which was very easy and efficient on the phone. Get to the showroom, have to wait half an hour and it was only through chasing people up did we eventually manage to see the car we had asked to see - which also wasn’t ready for us when we got there.
Would never recommend or visit again. Went to an actual dealership the next day and the experience is night and day!

The car is fantastic however one of the keys has no battery left. There are also scratches that have been covered badly.

Emir at Camberley was great, very informative, helpful and was not overly pushy. Couldn’t fault him!
However the wait times were very long even after booking an appointment. Be prepared to wait a while after your appointment time (up to an hour!). Might as well not have prebooked the appointment and just walked in, as the wait times were the same. No update from reception as to how much longer it would be, poor communication shown.
My car was also valued for a part exchange during this visit where I was not allowed to know the price until I bought the new car. I didn’t think this was fair and was very poor customer service!

Very poor reception, made to wait and ignored for some time even though meeting booked and arrived promptly after 2 hour drive. Others were giving up and leaving. Clearly a sales strategy. Person showing the car very pleasant. We arranged the visit directly from the Autotrader Ad. At the point of doing paperwork we found a £300 increase. This was described as a 'compulsory' admin requirement and it was our fault for not going to their site and viewing the small print. Sharp practice (well rehearsed) and lacking transparency and integrity. We enquired about battery health and were told that this huge company lacked the facilities to test, and yet they could guarantee at least 80% battery health. How can you guarantee this unless you have tested it! We asked about the lack of a service since 2024 and were told that EV's didn't require servicing. Rubbish, my some is a mechanic and MOT Tester. We were left feeling that we could not trust the dealership and have booked it in with a reputable garage locally.

Everyone at Big Motoring World were excellent. A really top class service. Freddy who we dealt with mainly was great, no pressure and nothing was too much trouble. With 850 cars available to buy you will find one for you. We bought a 2025 car with less than 6000 miles and it's like a brand new car but with an amazing saving from the new price. 5* service

Reserved a car. Completed PCP application and all went well. Reserving a car for £99 only allows the to hold it for 3 days. But I needed to collect in 5 days due to work commitments and the 300 mile round commute to collect. Contacted them ahead of reserve expiring offering to pay a deposit to hold the car for 2 further days. I was declined as it’s against their policy. I explained I could reserve the car again once it’s relisted and they declined and said you can’t reserve the same car twice. The car was then relisted for sale. I could see from this that there was no flexibility for a genuine sale and showed that I was just a number and very poor support. I therefore cancelled my £28000 order and went direct to Polestar instead to purchase. It has put me off using BigMotoringWorld ever again as there was no flexibility for extending a deposit/reservation for two days despite me proving my commitment to purchase. Their car is also now still for sale!

Very disappointing experience.
I initially visited to view a car and noticed the passenger door lock wasn’t working. I was assured it would be fixed before collection. However, when I returned to pick up the car, the issue hadn’t been resolved, and I hadn’t received any communication about it—resulting in a wasted 3-hour round trip.
After speaking to a senior staff member, I was told they would investigate. A few days later, I was informed the required parts had been ordered and could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. I was willing to wait. Shortly after, I received another call saying the issue had been temporarily fixed, though they couldn’t guarantee how long it would last.
I made another 3-hour journey to collect the car. The door appeared to be working, so I proceeded with payment. Only after paying was I told that one of the keys didn’t lock or unlock the car. When I checked again, the passenger door lock had stopped working altogether.
At that point, I had lost all confidence and requested a full refund. This meant yet another wasted 3-hour trip.
I strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from here to thoroughly check everything—especially their so-called “200-point check,” which clearly wasn’t done properly in my case.
I also raised a complaint via email but have only received one response so far and have been waiting over a week for a follow-up.
Overall, a very frustrating and time-wasting experience.

Sales staff not interested in helping or advising, and waited an hour and a half to be seen, despite sales staff walking around with their pads laughing and joking with each other.
The rest of the experience good and car was good so purchased it anyway. I especially liked the various stations as you progress the sale. This felt like an experience that helped a little especially as the sales department was non responsive.
Coffee wasn’t bad and it was free…..

Not told that the car had one, broken key fob. Was told that it had been left in Cannock, then said weren’t sure can’t guarantee getting it. Asked for cost of fixing existing key to be taken off price but told it was already priced in - that was after sales guy said he had no idea key fob was broken. Asked for the discount on admin fee as had bought a car before within 24 months, was told it had to be 12 months - rechecked & I bought 11 months ago but discount not applied. I was basically lied to and ‘Charlie’ the sales guy starting being aggressive, pointing in my face. Don’t expect any of that on a £14.5k car

I visited the dealership to view a used Hyundai and left disappointed. The car had a tyre pressure warning light on and was pulling to the left during the test drive. I asked for the tyres to be checked so I could retest the car properly, but this was refused. I was told the tyres would only be inflated after paying the full amount, which is not a reasonable approach for a used vehicle with an active warning light.
I also offered to leave a deposit and return once the tyre issue was sorted, but was told the deposit would be non‑refundable, even though the car clearly needed a basic safety check.
There was also heavy pressure to buy add‑on products, finance options, and an extended warranty I didn’t want. I made it clear I was looking to purchase the car outright, but the focus kept shifting to PCP/HP and extras instead of the car itself. I was also told the manufacturer warranty wouldn’t apply, which contradicts Hyundai’s own published terms stating the warranty follows the car as long as servicing is done at VAT‑registered garages using approved parts.
When I declined the extras, the salesperson became visibly frustrated, which made the experience uncomfortable. A straightforward sale could have happened, but the refusal to address a simple safety concern and the pushy upselling made me walk away.
Response: Thank you for responding, but your reply does not reflect what actually happened.
No reasonable person would pay a £500 non‑refundable deposit on a car that already showed a defect during the test drive. The tyre pressure warning light was on and the vehicle was pulling to the left. I simply asked for the tyres to be checked so I could retest the car safely. This was refused.
I was then told that if I paid the £500 deposit and the issue was not fixed, I would still lose the deposit if I chose not to proceed. That is not a fair or sensible policy when a fault is already present.
I was fully prepared to buy the car outright once the basic safety concern was addressed. Instead, the issue was ignored and the focus was on pushing add‑ons and warranties I did not want. Please do not comment as if this was a standard process — you were not at the table, and the situation was not handled as your reply suggests.
