The absolute worst online service I…

The absolute worst online service I have come across, and that saying a lot in this day and age. Their AI/chat bot is ridiculous. Every option I chose went to a completely different topic to what I was trying to ask. Despite suggesting to speak to human, when I confirm this suggestion it Tells me to contact a human during work hours. Even though it is during those hours right now. When asked for my contact details . I enter them. Then it tells me it doesn't understand, that I'm going in a loop suggests I speak to a human. THATS WHAT IM TRYING TO DO. I follow instructions completely and I conclude you cannot speak to human. The options that are available to you are pointless and with no one to answer inquiries the whole system is completely useless. If big W cared about customers they would be ashamed.

Worst Company to deal with

Worst Company to deal with. Firstly, I did not realise when I was ordering it was from a third party Seller and not from BigW. I did not receive my Order. I have provided proof that the Courier provided them with incorrect information but Ruby Pateno from Market Support refused to accept my explanation or take into account my material and financial loss, my frustrations or feelings. All she could do is apologise for the inconvenience and state my feedback will be taken on board. Is this all BigW can do for their customers????? They are becoming rich from keeping our money!!!!!!

Inadequate and misleading information

Purchased item from Big W Market. Could not assemble it due to unclear instructions
I took the item to Big W and was told I have to contact the original seller. There name of the seller is all I have to go on. Somewhere in China. When you compare this to how Amazon does business, with effortless returns and instant refunds,it is amazing how Big W Market competes.

Avoid like the plague

Pathetically slow to deliver ordered items and even slower to process a refund. Was told 2-3 days, it’s now 2-3 weeks if I get it then at all. I wish I’d read the other reviews first (which are universally poor). Won’t shop there again.

I have purchased a 5 piece dinning set …

I have purchased a 5 piece dinning set and a tall boy and 2 bedside table package . Delivery is a joke . I received 2 bedside tables its been a week later and I received 1 box for my tall boy which is only half of the product . Still haven't received 2nd box to finish my draws. Then I received 2 chairs then 2 days later another 2 chairs and again been nearly a week since getting chairs no dinning table. So I have 2 packages I purchased and not one of them is complete. Still waiting . Communication is ridiculous . Will not purchase again.purchased on 28 / 12 .

I went to lay by some items in big w and the service I received from the young girl there was second to none.
I put some items on lay-by and paid others with giftcard and afterpay.she was calm,professional friendly and the whole transaction was a breeze.
Her name is Alex and she has worked at Joondalup store for 4 years.I asked her.
She deserves acknowledgement for her work.

Staff like her makes the shopping experience so much nicer.I also was advised as to what headphones to purchase by a very knowledgeable young man.I got the more expensive ones as he explained the benefits. This was the 8th of January 2026.Between 6-7pm.

Purchased a LED mirror from big w…

Purchased a LED mirror from big w marketplace dream bathrooms.
Arrived in time but the lights were not even bright and could tell was a cheap product and decided to return.
Paid $80 for return postage to be told the mirror is broken and offered 50%
Do NOT buy anything from Dream bathrooms or Big W marketplace

Broken TV (cracked screen)

I have bought lots of items from BigW but the last wasn't bought by me but my son. He bought a TV for me for my 60th. It arrived and when taken out of the box had a cracked screen. It took fighting for them to collect on the 19th December. I know sit on the 08th January with absolutely nothing but EXCUSES every time I call on when it will be replaced. Makes me not want to buy a single thing from them as they definitely do not look after their customers.
Shame on you BigW

I will never shop at Big W again

I will never shop at Big W again! I purchased pants at a cost of $60 from Big W online thinking no worries there is a 90 day return policy. Pants did not fit even though same size from Work Clobber fits fine. No worries, 90 day return policy. Took them back and was refused refund because they are in the excluded categories, when you look at the excluded categories, it makes up half of the what the stores range is. The manager was very rude and useless. Wasted money I worked hard for. I will now boycott Big W. No wonder people are turning to online platforms like Amazon.

Garden Water fountain Rubbish

We Ordered a Garden Water fountain $210 it arrived with broken Connector to Solar Panel, we emailed with photos and a new one was sent. DISGUSTINGLY This was Totally Broken in 3 spots and had a hole. We emailed again but All emails came back v postmaster ?? Luckily we bought via PayPal. Australians are used as a Rubbish Dump for Bw, others & Chinese CO’s .

BigW Delivers Cheaper and Faster

Our coffee machine died just before Christmas. I found the Sunbeam EM7200 online for $250 cheaper than anywhere else and ordered it on 26 December. It arrived on 3 January and no charge for delivery. Thank you BigW.

Super Slow and incorrect items sent..

Purchased about 10 items a month out from Christmas for my kids presents. The items came from 7 seperate suppliers. $44 delivery and they took every part of the 8 weeks to arrive. Worst part was they sent incorrect items and the Return system still remains unsettled into the new year. I wouldn’t ever trust their online system ever again unless you like doing your Christmas shopping twice.

poor quality and poor customer service

My experience of Big W marketplace was very disappointing. My order was delayed then when it arrived it was poor quality. The returns process was complicated, time consuming and costly. I will never order from them again. Unfortunately as the goods are on marketplace only you can’t see the quality before you buy. Very frustrating. Up your game Big W!

Ordered Birkenstocks as a present for my son , they were very oversized even thought I ordered his correct size and he he has many pairs from other retailers
I contacted BW marketplace just to exchange for a smaller pair , was told no exchange , when I tried telling that I had ordered his correct size and it was their fake rip off product I then had several rude emails and basically stuck with the shoes
If I could give minus zero stars for this rip off company I world

Marketplace Joke

Bought a Steam Deck OLED for over $1000 through their marketplace. The Pavilion who is their marketplace seller marked it as shipped the next day without even having stock. No way to contact pavilion and big w essentially wiped their hands of it, simply sending a ‘ticket’ to them. The Pavilion has no operating website, address or number to contact. This setup should be shut down, it’s an absolute joke. Still waiting on any communication from Pavilion.

Bought product online to pick up at the to boot option.waited several hours for notice but no joy went to pick up area and was told that the order was not due to be processed till tomorrow went inside got it the old fashion way cancelled order paid and was informed that big W would not have the money in our account for 3 to four days.what a mess .never again
