Purchased an outdoor bar table and chairs. The quality was appalling . None of the screws lined up and there was a bow in the middle of the table. I was aware I was buying a cheap product but nothing could compare to how bad this was!

Big W and it's 3rd Party sellers are…

Big W and it's 3rd Party sellers are the worst possible service. Big W sellers items for them but when it comes to warranty Big W just hand balls it to the 3rd party and the 3rd party just ignores you. Because the 3rd Party is a someone selling items from their garage! You are better off buying from eBay .

Cancellation order by BigW without refund

I spend afternoon choosing items on BigW website, after i payed for those items. Day after i received cancellation of order without any explanation. Today i spend morning for communication with stuff named Cassandra. She not given any explanations, only those respectfulness and humiliation phrases type "... Due to our privacy policy, I was not given the reason for the cancellation, I was just advised the information provided above...' to hind details of unprofessional and discriminating actions of BigW with their customers.
Finally no products, about 1600$ blocked somewhere and BigW dont care about that.
Now i need to spend again time to investigate where is my money and what is going on. BigW dont care about customers and hiding their problems of bad organisation, incompetent stuff and cultivating scam.
Horrible experience, very disappointed and will not suggest for others to have business with BigW.

If there was such a thing as a negative 5 stars I would be giving it right now. Do not buy from Big W Market place and I don’t know why Big W would lend its brand to this. It’s an absolute scam. Bought a pair of trainers that after the first use, sole detached. On trying to get a refund was told it was misuse and no refund applicable - how does you misuse by using running shoes on a treadmill? Trying to get service and a resolution is a nightmare-don’t do it.

This was my worst experience ever

This was my worst experience of customer service ever and I'm 80yrs old! I ordered a flat pack wardrobe unit on the 4th Oct and it was not delivered by 11th Oct, so I cancelled the order. Then the fun started, the supplier ignored my request to cancel and offered an $8 credit to wait! I actually had to message and insist on the cancellation 4 times before they then said they couldn't stop the delivery and I would have to return the parcels (a heavy wardrobe unit) before they could process a refund. On the 20th the parcels arrived, and now I'm expecting more trouble trying to return. I will never use Big W Marketplace again; they have no quality controls or interest in their suppliers' bad performance.

BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AUSWAY! THEY ARE LIAR AND NO DELIVERY AFTER I PLACED ONLINE ORDER.
I’d happy if I could rate a no star. I bought a puppy playpen from BigW marketplace seller Ausway. I placed an order on 6th October and received a email of Aramex tracking but when I clicked on the tracking link for many days it only shows the parcel has been prepared and I can’t track where my parcel is. It should be arrived on this Thursday. I emailed Ausway about this issue and they replied with I have to wait 3-5 business days for them to investigate the case. So I have to wait and delay my receive after 17th of October. I can tell their products definitely coming from China but instead of in stock locally. And they also charged almost $50 for the postage fees. I won’t buy online on BigW marketplace anymore and this is disgusting cause you can’t call them or find their warehouse. We as consumer we don’t have any guarantee for ourselves.

I was trying to shop online but the Big W system would not allow me to put anything in my cart. Grrr. So I opened a new account thinking that may be the problem..nnooo.... In addition, looking in my (new) account I noted that the system has my old address and expired cards. So I deleted this information only to find I cannot update details. Attemptng to resolve issues via the bot and phone is impossible - a wait time way too long. Sorry Big W, you have lost me, life is too short so I will shop elsewhere.

I was under the impression that the person at the doors were supposed to greet customers and welcome them into the store. Upon entering the store, i smiled politely at the middle aged woman standing there and she made some funny noise at me and ROLLED HER EYES.
Great customer service love..i will travel the extra distance from now on and go to KMART..

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BIG W AGAIN

I purchased items from Big W marketplace via the Big W website. The products I received were terrible - junky rubbish that was not even suitable to be used for the reason I bought it. Trying to then return the product has been a nightmare that has taken weeks to resolve. The marketplace seller was Salesbay - what a shocking company they are to deal with. Dealing with Big W Marketplace's customer service has been a nightmare. They are unhelpful, have lied to me on numerous occasions and have dragged this issue out for weeks. I have closed my Big W account and will NEVER buy from them again after being so treated so badly. Big W is a disgrace! They sell rubbish quality products and then offer no customer support!

Big W Marketplace disaster with no 3rd party accountability

I ordered an electric wood splitter from the Big W Marketplace in September 2025. I was under the assumption that purchasing from Big W would protect me in any issues with my online purchase, I was wrong. As soon as problems started with extended delayed delivery timelines from the Edison Direct supplier, I requested the order be cancelled. Unfortunately, Big W washed their hands of any responsibility & then requested all communications go through the 3rd party seller, Edisons Direct. When I started to have problems with Edisons Direct lying about attempted deliveries & then making demands for video evidence of failed deliveries before getting a refund, once again petitioning Big W to assist ended in futility. Eventually I did receive my refund, but the whole drawn out experience fighting with Edison Direct customer support was devoid of any customer care by either company. Buyer beware.

Big W online poor service

I ordered from Big W Online and my experience has been extremely frustrating.

First, my order took way too long to arrive. When it finally came, it was missing parts. I immediately called customer service and gave them the code for the missing part. They assured me they would send the correct replacement, so I waited another two weeks.

When the replacement finally arrived, it was the wrong part! I called again, and instead of solving the issue quickly, I was told I would need to wait again.

This has been such a waste of time, and my order is still not complete. Very poor communication and service. I will think twice before ordering from Big W Online again.

Big w phoenix, shame on you

This is specifically directed at Big W phoenix park in Western Australia.
I went in today to grab some Pokemon cards for my kids, finally! We see a store that has them in stock….

What’s extremely disappointing, is the fact they’re limiting them to 2 per person…..

Now, I get limits and why they’re in place and agree with them. But with EVERY OTHER BIG W IN THE NATION having a 5 packs per person limit. How is this big w allowed to make up limits as they see fit? Now my kids miss out on this because we could only get 2 measly packs. It’s pretty piss poor.

In this day and age of employees holding stock for VIP customers that pay extra on the side to get these products, it screams that these managers are doing just that. With holding majority of the stock, behind limits these nazis are setting themselves, so when those
Customers come in they can lift the limits themselves and be sell it all to them.
