My experience was mixed. The process was quick and easy, but I thought Halfords would have been on the partners list, as that is where I had gone to try the bike I wanted.
I was also charged £100 by We Cycle that I wasn't aware of. I believe people should be aware of these charges beforehand, so there isn't any confusion or embarrassment.

The whole process was very simple and easy to process, looking forward to my Bike arriving! I do though feel it is set up to benefit the higher tax payers? should this not be set up for lower earners equally?

I would've given a 5 but the website is not easy to use. When selecting a shop it doesn't give you all the shops they use ( Leisure Lakes West Bromwich isn't listed). The boxes to type into for the cost and description don't display correctly on a mobile. But I did receive excellent help via email, so well done.

Staff at chingford decathlon were helpful and friendly throughout. This review is about the Cycle to Work scheme itself, which has been a complete shambles from start to finish.
I was told I could use my Cycle to Work voucher in store. So I went in, chose a bike, the team built it, safety checked it, and I was ready to walk out with it. Then came the moment of actually redeeming the voucher. It did not work. After all of that, the scheme’s own platform failed at the final step, leaving me standing in the store with a bike I could not take home.
This came after weeks of prior issues. The platform had already been down for days earlier in the week, meaning my original order was stuck in authorisation limbo with no way to progress or cancel it. I had also already started having salary deductions taken, so I was paying for a bike I did not have access to.
To be told I could use the voucher in store, to go through the entire process of selecting and building the bike, and then to have it fall apart at the checkout because the voucher itself does not function is a genuinely unacceptable experience. There is a fundamental problem here with how this scheme has been set up and maintained, and customers are the ones absorbing all of the consequences when it breaks down.
I still do not have a bike. I would not recommend this scheme to anyone until these issues are resolved.
Great slick process, very little paperwork. Delighted with my new bike

Love the concept but couldn’t select the shop - even when it was on the list - and couldn’t pick the products, just submitted the prices. Having this supported would make it way smoother.

Ordered wrong size clicked on wrong button realised when quote was emailed tried ringing got through said couldn’t change it , said see how it is , then if no good then a cost of £130 to return it . Lucky enough it’s ok . Received bike and can’t fit the saddle pin into bike , no instructions in box , tried ringing 3 stores no answer . Google it but still no idea how it goes . Now going to take it to bike shop to see if they can help , I won’t be buying anything online again.
