Siamo appassionati di viaggi, e ce l’abbiamo nel sangue! Tutto cominciò nel lontano 1972 da una famiglia internazionale – Rick Price (americano DOC) e Paola Malpezzi Price (forlivese di origine e trasferitasi in USA dopo un anno all’estero alla giovane età di 16 anni) che portarono 4 gruppi di entusiasti cicloturisti americani in Italia lungo una mitica traversata in bicicletta da Pisa a Forlì. Riprendendo in mano l’attività nel 1985 in maniera continuativa, iniziarono il primo tour in bicicletta da Venezia a Pisa (Bike Across Italy!). Oggi le loro figlie Monica e Maria Elena sono a capo delle due aziende tour operator, Pedaliamo In Italia con base in Italia ed ExperiencePlus! con base negli USA. Nate e cresciute nel mondo del cicloturismo le loro prime esperienze sono state pedalando nel Delta del Po e aiutando i viaggiatori stranieri a scegliere il loro primo gelato italiano! Con i brand associati a noi, abbiamo permesso a migliai di viaggiatori di attraversare l’Italia, l’Europa, il Sud America e tanti altri luoghi, pedalando, camminando o viaggiando in maniera lenta o sostenibile. A Special Trip...
Bikes Plus (Cycle Europe) helped us set up a custom ride from Ravenna, through the foothills, to Bologna, and on to Parma. It was delayed for a year by all of the recent chaos, but they put everything back on track. In fact, they were by far the most professional and organized part of our entire trip. Thanks to them, we just spent almost two weeks exploring some of the culinary capitals of Italy.
Everything was absolutely as it should be! The bikes were delivered ready to go, and the tour information was very thorough.
Most of the hotels were in the heart of the old cities, and very nicely appointed. Our route kept us off of busy roadways and allowed us to explore the countryside and villages on backroads that seemed designed for cycling. We also stayed in the country at two different Agritourismo's, which were quite delightful and a relaxing change of pace.
Our bikes were first class, and the guidance and routing on our smartphone app was exact. We always knew where we were, and where we were going. We typically had a choice of rides each day, depending on whether we wanted a little more time in the saddle, or were anxious to see the sites in the next town.
The info they provided for each days ride gave us a good historical overview, and helped to highlight sites to see, and most importantly, great places to eat for lunch and dinner.
We hadn't even finished our tour, and we were back on their website looking at other tours in Italy and also in France!
We highly recommend taking a tour with Bikes Plus...you will have a truly wonderful experience!

Recently took trip to Italy and wanted to spend a few days riding. BikesPLus SRL was very responsive and accommodative on very short notice and able to provide two well outfitted bikes and appropriate accessories. Customer service provided by Javier and Davide was outstanding.

They won’t listen to your requests
Made a group reservation for 5, specifying clearly I needed a big bike ,(58+ size). Request got ignored and I was unable to join the rest of the group. Ruined my saturday

Mr Francesco, we are very sorry about the negative experience you had. Although this is the first review we receive on Trustpilot, our profile pages on Google and Facebook, with plenty of 5-star ratings, attest to the fact that we strive for excellence and take special care to assign our bikes according to our customers’ measurements (height, most importantly). Unfortunately, the hotel for which we organized your guided group tour did not include you in the list of participants and thus we were not alerted that a bike was needed for you. When you called to let us know that you needed a bike as well, we quickly organized the delivery of a larger bike to your location in Cesena, ready to transport you along with the bike to meet the group and enjoy the second part of the ride and the lunch together. But mid delivery, you told us you no longer required the bike (we were willing to do this free of charge, considering that we are located in Faenza). We are happy that the rest of the group had a very positive experience, but we’re sorry you were not able to take part in the tour as you had expected.
