Formal Complaint Regarding Substandard Workmanship and Professional Misconduct. I engaged Bill Wilson Concrete in August 2025 to replace a residential walkway with a stamped concrete finish. Despite remitting the full $5,000.00 payment immediately upon completion, the delivered project was aesthetically deficient and failed to meet industry standards.

Defective Workmanship and Structural Failure. The quality of the installation was deeply unsatisfactory. From the outset, the walkway exhibited inconsistent stamping, severe splotchy discoloration, and a hazy finish. Although I was assured the product was of high quality, the concrete began structurally degrading less than four months after installation; following the first snowstorm in December 2025, the surface showed significant erosion.

Unprofessional Conduct and Refusal to Remedy When I brought these visible defects to Mr. Wilson’s attention, his response was dismissive. He initially claimed the inconsistent finish was intentional, stating he "meant for it to be like that," and later characterized my legitimate concerns as "making a big deal out of nothing". Rather than honoring his workmanship, Mr. Wilson demanded additional payment to correct his own errors, specifically to re-color and seal the concrete. Despite my attempts to resolve this amicably through formal written notices, he refused to undertake corrective action without further compensation. Ultimately, I ended up hiring another contractor who fixed the issue and properly colored the walkway for an additional $486.00.

Conclusion I paid a premium for a professional entrance and received a product that is cosmetically flawed and structurally unsound.
