Absolutely appalling service on every…

Absolutely appalling service on every level.

I ordered two tins for a surprise for my friend's children for Halloween.

Biscuiteers offered me a code - £5.00 of a tin, so I tried to use it.
On the first attempt, the system took off £5.00 of the order of two tins. Miffed, I then had to order each tin on a separate order. At my friend's address. Bad for the environment, bad for misleading offers, and such a waste of time to go through the process.
I got notice of delivery and the only way to see progress was to download the Shop app, which was a useless stage and merely pilfers my data to monetise, and it then takes me to the Royal Mail app. What a palaver! Only to then find out that the Update bar on the Shop app does not match the Royal Mail delivery timeline and the Order was not delivered on the date I specified - a date specifically to coincide with Halloween plans.
Seems like a corporate takeover has happened and not only is the entire customer & delivery service rubbish, they've wasted my time and spoilt a surprise.
It'll be a very long time before I ever use Biscuiteers again and even longer time before I would ever recommend them.
Biscuiteers were a lovely local shop I purposefully supported for many years, but since I left the area, I tried the online service. Just rubbish!

I’ve reviewed your order carefully, and I’d like to clarify what happened. The £5 discount code you received should indeed have applied to each tin on your original order. Unfortunately, there was an error in the initial code setup, which we corrected as soon as we became aware. You got in touch shortly after placing two separate orders, and we offered to resolve this for you — combining your orders so you would receive the full £10 discount and pay only one delivery fee, exactly as intended. However, we did not receive a reply to that message, so the orders were processed as originally placed.

Regarding delivery, I can confirm your order was dispatched and went out for delivery on the exact date you selected at checkout. Royal Mail attempted to deliver on that day, but unfortunately, no one was available to receive the parcel. The additional delivery instructions you submitted were received by Royal Mail just under an hour before their delivery attempt, meaning these couldn’t be applied until their next delivery attempt.

On the Shop App — this is an optional tracking tool provided by Shopify, the platform that powers our website. It does not monetise or share your data in any way, and you can always track your parcel directly through Royal Mail using the tracking number provided in your dispatch email if you prefer not to use the app.

I’m so sorry that this experience didn’t reflect the high standard we always strive for, but I do hope this helps clarify what’s happened and reassures you that your order was handled correctly throughout.

Chocolates were a great success

The chocolates were very well received. The box contained something for everyone, from dark and milk ganache chocolates to salted caramel. Beautifully made and presented. Delicious.

Bought for my daughter's wedding

Bought for my daughter's wedding, she was thrilled , said they smelled delicious 😋

Tin box was so pretty , they arrived within a couple of days with personalised message I chose on one of the biscuits

Lovely biscuit but shame about the damaged icing

This would've been a lovely little birthday biscuit gift but unfortunately some of the icing had come off before it arrived. I think my friend still appreciated the gesture and personalisation but it was a little embarrassing giving someone a damaged gift.

Awful online experience for what has historically been a great product.

I've purchased Biscuiteers items in stores many times before, and when arranging small thank you gifts for people helping with my wedding I thought they would be a great addition. I ordered 8 Jolly Gingers on Oct 4th, and selected a delivery date of Oct 14th.
Aside from the confirmation email, I received ZERO communication about my order. When they at last arrived (late) on the 15th, I was stunned to find the box had been eaten through by something while it was in the hands of Royal Mail. One biscuit had been entirely removed from its individual box, and two others had been nibbled at.
I tried multiple times to call, finally getting through to someone who advised me to email pictures in. Several hours later I received a response claiming that an entirely new order would be delivered on the 16th.
Here we are at 4pm on the 17th and again there has been no delivery or notification of one, I have been trying to get through on the phone for over an hour, and my emails go unanswered.

The quality of the product has always been excellent, but I'm stunned by how poor the online experience has been.

A double delight!

Ordered some chocolates and macrons as it was my birthday. Both arrived well packaged and have gone down a treat!

A cut above the rest

I used to order celebratory biscuits from another well known brand but Biscuiteers feel a cut above from the moment the beautiful tin arrives. The birthday hand iced biscuit tin I sent to my sister arrived quickly and well packaged with not a crumb out of place. We scheduled delivery for the morning of her big day and it landed right on time which is rare where she lives. The personalized message on the biscuit was spelled perfectly and matched the colour i'd chosen. unboxing was a proper little event, she said the biscuits smelled buttery and looked almost too pretty to eat.

So comparing to the old brand,these actually taste as good as they look and the designs are cleaner. On a separate order one letter box biscuit arrived with a tiny chip and customer service were quick to respond and sorted it right away. Well, a bit on the pricey side but the premium feel and reliable date scheduling make it worth it for me, for now I'll stick with Biscuiteers for gifts and corporate thank yous because the whole experience just WORKS!
