I'm using this exchange since 2017 and overall everything is working fine (deposits/withdrawals/trading/funding). So never had to contact support because there was no reason for this. Except in April this year they delisted some tokens and I missed withdrawal timeout (1 month after the announcement). So effectively I've lost my tokens (worth at the time slightly more than 1000 USD).

They have a "recover delisted token" service with a fee of 500 USD. I think such fee is extraordinary high. But anyway 1000 USD > 500 USD, so I've agreed to this at the end of April 2021. Half-year will pass tomorrow and nothing has happened. I don't get answers to my ticket for already 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for my tokens, but every day I'm losing hope.

Bitfinex stopped replying to my ticket. They screwed up a bitcoin lightning payment as they normally do and are refusing to do anything about it. I am stuck with my work for over 15 hours, weekend is coming and will not be able to recover the lost time. While this is not the first time I have this issue with bitfinex, past times they resolved the issue inna timely manner but it seems that the numerous errors have caught up with them and customer support has fallen as well. Stay away!!!

Absolutely HORREDNOUS experience!

I signed up and STRAIGHT AWAY could not log in to my account! I got the message ('Log in user name not recognised' then this changed to 'Invalid Request Token').

Customer services tried to make out that I had to turn off 'safelinks' in my outlook account (which I would NEVER DO anyway). They also said that it was because I never used the email verification link in the same browser and within 15 minutes, but truth be told I had no problems with the verification email link and the problem was that it just wasn't recognising my username, email address and/or password (which I had JUST SIGNED UP WITH)!

Also I have NEVER had any issues like this with other exchanges, so why has this cropped up with them?

Do they honestly think that I would trust them with my money after I can't even log into my account on the first attempt?

No chance!

DONT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE, THEY WILL NEVER LET YOU TAKE IT
They have no words and change all what you agreed...

Avoid Bitfinex at all costs, I have used dozens of crypto exchanges over the years, and this is by FAR the worst. Funds will not show up in your account days after making a deposit, and they will find excuses to stop your withdrawals too.

Customer service is very quick to respond to your issues, but the do NOTHING about trying to fix the problem. 72 hours have passed, and I'm still waiting for my deposit to show up in my account.

Use another exchange if you can, and save yourself the hassle.

Wallets not working on the Bitfinex.com web page, Sent some IOTA tokens to my wallet on Bitfinex, 4 days passed and still not showing on my account.
Customer services responds very quickly but NOTHING is done. I strongly recommend to chose another Exchange.

xlm deposit was not being credited. within 48 hours the issue was resolved and credited. support was helpful throughout the whole process. 5 stars

You can put however much money you want. You won’t be able to withdraw your money.
And I have contacted their customer support, the answer is “still waiting”. That’s about 1 week now. Will keep posted.

How can I verify my account when it won’t pass the stage to upload my ID

My LN-BTC withdrawal failed, and had a confusing error message. I emailed the support, and they VERY quickly responded and informed me why it was happening, and what was going to happen next. Pretty shortly thereafter, the amount was returned to my wallet. Great customer service! Most importantly, they were fast and helpful.

I was able to complete withdrawal after a couple more failed attempts (all my fault being a lightning newb), and each time they patiently returned the money to me.

Great exchange easy to use. Customer service first class quick to respond and very helpful. One of the best out there

I have had a great experience with Bitfinex. The most important thing with any service is the support and Bitfinex have been great with support, responding quickly and effectively in relation to the stated issue. Looking forward to doing business with them for a long time to come.

I've moved ADA from coinbase to Bitfinex and it never showed up even though it shows on cardanoscan as complete. Customer service said it will take several days! Was really dissapointed by this and it did loose me money. Customer service did reply promptly and I received my deposit the morning after. Consider this when using bitfinex.. The exchange is OK for trading..

I have used all of the major crypto exchanges, but in my experience Bitfinex has been the most reliable of them all. Binance, Kraken, Coinbase all seem to crumble during pivotal market moments. Bitfinex on the whole seems to run smoothly during such times. For a trader, this is extremely important.

Yesterday, they did have a rare outage, but it was handled well. They communicated clearly and promptly via their twitter feed and seemed to restore some of the services quite quickly, at least more quickly than some of the aforementioned exchanges.

I had some issues with my funding account this morning, but their support quickly resolved them too.

Don't waste your time and money, among all other platforms I have used so far Bitfinex is the worst, with very high deposit, withdrawal and trading fee. I transfered $MATIC coin from Binance and never received it, contacted support teams and it has been under review for ages. It seems never resolving. If you still join Bitfinex trust me it is going to be worst one you will come across. I should have checked the reviews before dealing with Bitfinex

I messed up a transfer and the team at bitfinex got on the case and sorted it. Even though a small investor they treated it professionally and considering the circumstances very quickly too .

Totally impressed with their response time and quick resolution process during my sign-up process.

My hotmail Advance setting was giving me issues which I never knew of this feature existed and they pointed me to the direct problem with the solution in less than 5 mins upon submitting my issue to support. ~ CV Bahamas
