Easy to use, number 1 for buying Bitcoin.

Have been a frequent user of this service over the past couple of years, and had no problems up until tonight.

Unfortunately it seems the website either has a functionality problem, or this problem has been intentionally left to catch out the undiscerning user (such as myself), who is used to the £3-£4 transaction fee's.

The problem at hand is using the option of buying in fiat currency, instead of using BTC amount. I have tested this issue, checked the average transaction fee as of 27/05/2023 and it stands at around £4.
In my case, I had typed that I would like to buy £40 worth - instead of typing in the BTC amount of 0.00171892.
To my fault, I did not check how much the transaction fee had taken (£16 in this case, and only receiving £24 worth of bitcoin, bare in mind the current transaction fee is only £4), so I have been charged 4x the amount I should have actually paid because they have an issue with their website.

If you select Buy in BTC amount, in my case 0.00171892, you get the proper transaction fee, which comes out to around £4, as the current average suggests - implying Bittylicious has a functionality issue. I had even reported this in a support ticket, hoping they'd have been thankful for bringing this to their attention and maybe they'd help out a frequent customer. Instead I was brushed off and told this is my fault.

I then decided to open a support ticket, to which I have been promptly brushed off and essentially told it's my fault - a direct quote here "You agreed to the new rate, several times, and ignored the warnings saying it was above market rate. We will not be sending on additional bitcoin".

While the amount I have been skimmed out of isn't a lot, it is the principle that counts, and I'd have hoped that to a frequent customer I wouldn't have been brushed off and had the blame solely placed on myself, when it is clear there was an issue with the website at the time making transaction rates so high depending on what option you select in the dropdown box.

I will be open to changing this review if my problem gets rectified, hopefully someone different from the person who replied to my support ticket can help me out here, as he seemingly doesn't give two about his customers and is happy to see them being shorted out of money. Fingers crossed.

Always Quick transactions, never had any problems, have used this service over 2 years.

I am new to crypto and set up a hardware cold storage wallet and used Bittylicious to purchase BTC using my address. All worked well only point I’d make for new starters is took an hour or so before showing up in my wallet. Will be using again. Very simple user interface but does job.

Fast transfer of coins and great experience

Have used for several years. Find the process simple & efficient. Nice easy way to acquire crypto using faster payment direct from UK bank account. Only issue has been when a bank flagged larger amount for fraud check (meant I missed the window for transfer). Smaller amounts of a few hundred £'s seem to go through without hassle. Happy to recommend!

It’s usually very quick. I find the process itself a bit clunky and the website is not intuitive or user friendly but it gets the job done. First time users may struggle but follow the instructions and it should be ok.

Excellent and quick when I need a some bit coins, when payee set up at bank its only a matter of changes to ref. Takes no longer than 20mins.

Support is always around, UK laws mean you have to provide documents. Once signed up and records are reviewed, usually in < 30 minutes). You're introduced to a gorgeous transaction flow.

As a software engineer myself your architecture is solid. Three steps are automated. and funds are released to a wallet of your choice under a parent wallet meaning no transaction fee for the customer. (Just means it's a bit slower to go through confirmations)
