Existing 9 year old Ideal boiler had needed topping up regularly for months but got to the point where it needed topping up daily and then stopped working completely. This is when I called BK Plumbing. 2 friendly engineers turned up and identified that the heat exchanger was leaking and a part of the boiler had become blocked by leak sealer. Unblocked which would keep the boiler going in the short term. Issue well explained and shown to me. Given two quotes for 2 different boilers. One Glo-Worm and the other Worcester. No pressure to commit to buying new boiler.

After speaking to BK Plumbing for further advice between differences between the 2 boilers, I choose to go for the Worcester boiler. I was not pushed towards one particular boiler even though there was a price difference.

Date booked for existing boiler to be removed and replaced with new Worcester boiler. 2 friendly engineers turned up on the day (different from the 2 that turned up to identify the existing boiler not working). Job completed the same day as agreed and they even amended the custom wooden box, which hides pipework under the boiler, to make it fit under the new one. All mess cleaned up inside and outside the house. Shown how boiler controls work including how to top up if required and new wireless thermostat control. All paperwork completed and handed over. Guarantee email and documentation came through a few days following boiler installation as I was told it would.

Pressure still holding steady which means no more topping up the boiler and it's not as noisy as the old boiler which is a bonus.

I will definitely be contacting BK Plumbing when the boiler service is due or if any other plumbing jobs crop up.

We had a leak in one of our treatment rooms that urgently needed fixing ahead of the bank holiday weekend. We called and within a few hours our plumber arrived and addressed the issue. He was really friendly, professional and efficient.

Fixed my leak on the day nice and quickly. Also swapped my pointless non-return valve out for an isolator, so I'll be better able to fix issues myself in future. The chap was nice and put up with my loud dog and baby.
