Ordered made to measure Venetian blinds…

Ordered made to measure Venetian blinds through e bay back in November, the one side of the blind will not stay up so I contacted blinds outlet, received a message back to start with asking for photos. Sent over the photos since I’ve not heard anything.
Customer service seems to be none existent if you have a fault with one of their products. I would have expected the blind to have lasted more than 6 months

Don’t be put off by the negative reviews

I read all 6 reviews from 2025 which were all negative but I took a gamble anyway. Ordered Sunday evening, my vertical blinds and rail were delivered at 8.12am on Tuesday. They’re perfect, I’m 100% happy. Just wanted to write this review to balance things a little and give hope to future customers.

Get what you pay for

Blind was cheap but does the job, messaged them to ask if I was missing anything as the screws are on show and the chain fitting moves, replies were quite condescending and rude. You get what you pay for, cheap looking, not great customer service skills.

Do not trust this company

You cannot make contact with this company via phone or message on there website i bought blinds via wilco they arrived but where not the size they claimed to be such a struggle to get a label to send them back finally sent back 3 weeks ago the phone number for the company doesn't exist to find out when I will receive my £94 refund it's alot of money for a pensioner to be down and especially when they don't even acknowledge my messages shame on you.

Zero Customer Service

Bought this blind through B&Q as a verified seller.
Clearly stated on the spec page that it could be cut to width. When the blind arrived, the instructions clearly stated that it could not be cut to width and having done this many times before I could tell it could not be cut without a complete deconstruction.

Asked to return it and they insisted it can be cut and eventually told me to courier it back to them at MY expense (their preferred couriers wanted £30 to return a £50 blind) Joke!

Eventually had to return it at my expense (Parcelforce £11) to get any resolution! Having said that, I haven't received the refund yet... so who knows.

I'm sure their blinds are great quality, but if you have any problems, you will be out of pocket! This was their mistake (mis information on the site page) and they still wouldn't accept refund charges... to quote them "we are a small company" ... Oh well, the customer will support you then!! Ridiculous service!

Nice blind, not size ordered!

Nice blind, wrong size! I knew the blind was cheap so allowed for the fact I may have to 'make it work' when fitting. I actually asked the company when I ordered if they would allow for the fact I gave them recess dimensions. They said yes but the blind arrived the width of the recess and wouldn't fit (you need space either side of the brackets so they can bend to slot in the roller). Not made-to-measure!

I ordered blinds that were delivered…

I ordered blinds that were delivered the completely wrong size. I have tried to contact the seller/company and haven’t received a reply. I am now stuck with massive blinds that cost me over £100 and I can’t even contact them. Absolute rip off

I ordered 4 roller blinds - never again!

I ordered 4 roller blinds. 3 large and 1 small. They were unsuitable for me so I requested a refund. This was accepted on my Amazon account. I was sent a seperate QR code to return the smaller of the 4 blinds, even though they all came together in one very large box. So I was able to return that and was given a refund within a couple of days. However, I was left with 3 large blinds in a huge box to try to return. I contacted Amazon customer services 5 times in as many days and was given different information by the different agents. I was told by Amazon that I would be sent a QR code or someone would contact me to arrange to collect the item and that my refund would be paid. I waited and nothing. I called again today only to be told that I have to pay to return this huge box myself, despite one agent telling me that my returns would be free. I contacted the 3rd party seller, apparently they use the A-Z guarantee (which is a complete joke). They basically told me that they do not supply QR codes and would not refund my money until they had the items back. The reason was that I apparently not returning them because they were broken, they were just mot suitable so I would have to pay to return them. I pointed out to them that they had supplied a QR code for the smaller blind and they had refunded the cost to me, and that I returned that one for exactly the same reason as I was returning the 3 large ones. They refused to acknowldge this and ignored what I was saying completely. I got back on to Amazon as I was leaving my current address and would no longer be in the UK and I had no way of returning these blinds after tomorrow, I explained that Blinds outlet had been unreasonable but also that had their agents told me the truth in the first place, that I might of had time to return them, but I was now unable to return them as I was leaving the next morning. Basically I feel like I have been shafted by both Blinds outlet and Amazon. If Amazon are going to use 3rd party sellers, then they are ultimately responsible for their conduct and customer service whilst selling on the Amazon platform. Blinds outlet are inconsistent and do not specify that if you return your items for any reason other than that they are damage, then you will be expected to foot the bill for posting back huge boxes to them, even though returns are apparently free. How can you trust a company to refund your postage when they can't even get their story straight about what can and what can't be sent back, or what reasons the find acceptable to provide refunds with a QR code. This makes no sense. But, I would not recommend this company, nor would I recommend Amazon at this point. Both parties have refused to take responsibilty for their inconstency and poor information sharing. I have been left £85 out of pocket, with no way of returning these items. Terrible customer services from both parties

Wrong size was ordered

Wrong size was ordered so put a request in to Amazon to return the blind with Blinds Outlet and request a refund which was accepted. At out own cost we sent the blind back after a week no refund so tracked to see if blind had returned and it had so waited for refund which never appeared so went onto Amazon to log the fact no refund been done through Blinds Outlet only for Amazon to deny me my refund. I will be taking this further to trading standards as a refund should not be denied when items sent back at my own cost and item was delivered as I have date and time. Do not order from Blinds Outlet because trying to get a refund is a nightmare and I'm fuming

If I could give it zero starts, I would

I measured the space where the blinds need to go and ordered the exact size blinds via amazon
The blinds were advertised as
"Dimout will let a gentle glow of light through the fabric. Not blocking out the light 100% but finding a nice balance to create a comfortable atomsphere"
On receiving the blinds, it was clear that the blinds were too short to fit the window (with the side fixtures on, the blind just fell down, it wouldn't reach). The blind was also completely see through, you could see all light and every car that went past the window (the road is several metres away from our window) I could still see it, I could probably tell you the make of the car, that's how see through it is.
I reported the fault online to amazon and was provided an email address to send pictures
I sent how see through the blind is, as well as how we've had to add an extra piece and a screw on the sides to be able to fit the window space
Alicia replies saying she doesn't see a fault and that the blind we ordered is supposed to be see through...
I sent her the description of her own item and highlighted the fact you can clearly see that the fixtures and blinds provided do not fit and we have had to add something so it actually fits the space
Her response? You can return it at your own cost and the cost won't be refunded until it's been received as they are a small business
As a small business, customer service should be a priority
You've been sent clear images of a faulty, low quality item, which has caused inconvenience to a customer and you think it's suitable to cause further inconvenience by trying to make them remove the blind, buy packaging, go and pay to return a faulty item...even stating in the email, as it's a large item, it will be expensive
This is outrageous and I would not recommend or buy from them again

Poor aftersales

I ordered 14 new slats with chain less weights. They sent me 14 weights but only 13 slats. I messaged them using the form on their website - no reply. I tried to phone them on the number they give out - no answer. Not happy!!

Terrible blinds

Terrible blinds, the wand did not work to open and close blinds, had to do this by hand and push slats along. Also, the bottom where weights are came undone. Went to bed and when I got up in the morning one of the weights lying on window sill. Poorest quality blinds I have ever purchased. Had them on my windows for 3 days, now in the bin and replaced with new ones from Argos.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a curtain pole for £19.99 and it was the wrong colour. I requested a return which was approved but I was told I would have to pay the return postage (the least expensive was £17.00). It's almost impossible to tell a colour from a webpage. I am furious that you cannot see an item in person before purchasing and this company does not state that returns must be paid by the buyer. Just disgusting.
