Information provided by various external sources

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher founded on February 8, 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by three graduates of UCLA, Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce. Based in Irvine, California, the company originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own software in 1993 with the development of games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. In 1994 the company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates and later by Vivendi. Shortly thereafter, Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Blizzard went on to create several successful PC games, including the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series, and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, culminating in the inclusion of the Blizzard brand name in the title of the resulting holding company, though Blizzard Entertainment remains a separate entity with independent management.[3] Blizzard Entertainment offers events to meet players and to announce games: the BlizzCon in California, United States, and the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in other countries, such as Paris, France and Seoul, South Korea. Money Hungry AI Slop Company Nowadays

The once well-respected Blizzard of old is now just a greedy ai slop company which give absolutely 0 cares about their player base which built them.

Blizzard relies on the goodwill and great games of the past and they are abusing it as far as possible to the point where many long-term customers like me have had enough and boycotting the company for good.

The latest incident involved moving a WoW Classic OCE server to the US with ZERO communication. This increased ping by 150+ for all OCE users without warning, not to mention the time zone server change. Their eventual response after the event? 'oh woops, we forgot to tell you'.

Meanwhile they were more than happy to take our money for boosts, multi month subs, packs etc. The icing on the t urd cake which is Blizzard? no refunds. Their support is just AI slop which doesn't surprise me since their last rereleases of the Warcraft series is also AI slop.

The company may be worth a lot in $$ terms but give it time - the way it treats its longstanding player base is abysmal and not sustainable. Blizzard will be dissolved in the not-so-distant future if they keep this up.

Completely out of touch with their players which built them.

Diablo not worth money

Trade chat never working ! Makes the game pointless imo as the grind fest to do it all without trade sucks.
If you don't own diablo I strongly recommend you don't buy it if your on ps5, the problem isn't as bad on pc ... so I'm told, A fix that sometimes works for ps5 is logging in and out on repeat SMH 5 hours or doing this still no chat, blizzard don't recognise it as a problem as they have done nothing to address this game breaking problem.

I guess I'm about to add to the dumping on blizzard

I guess I'm about to add to the blizzard of poor reviews for this company. Unfortunately, I am the victim of credit card theft...28 illegal uses of my card in the span of 3 weeks. Cr Card company notified and then I notified Blizzard. Blizzard's initial response was to ask for cr card data (sent screen shot of cr card statement) along with the number (card has been deleted by the bank). Next, the blizzard requested the transaction number (this is NOT available to account holders) blzzardo was informed and I was informed that blizzardo's technician ("Master Blizzardo") could not help without all 28 transaction numbers.
Clearly, this company is totally sh*tty and has no consumer care whatsoever. One star is a bonus, basicall a 1/2 star company at best

- Warcraft TFT support on Mac exists but they just ignored offline mode - technically it exists but doesn't work. Also there're many bugs during campaign. What a shame.

Also, during campaign sometimes "save" button dissapears so you have to replay a lot in case you lost.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Blizzard’s customer support regarding an account country/region change.

After permanently relocating to Poland, I submitted an official, unaltered rental agreement dated within the last three months, clearly showing my name and current Polish address. This document fully matches the requirements repeatedly stated by Blizzard support for verifying residency.

Despite this, my request was denied multiple times without any concrete explanation. Support responses consisted only of generic, template-style messages stating that the change was “not possible,” without identifying any specific issue with the document (such as authenticity, date, language, or missing information).

What makes this particularly frustrating is the complete lack of transparency. As a customer, I was never told what exact requirement was not met, making it impossible to resolve the issue or provide an alternative document. Repeated requests for clarification or escalation were ignored.

I understand that companies may have internal policies, but refusing a request while declining to explain the reason is poor customer experience and shows a lack of respect for long-term users.

Based on this experience, I would rate Blizzard’s support as unhelpful and non-transparent, especially for account-related issues that significantly impact loyal customers.

Very Disappointed - Refund Impossible and No Customer Support

I am very disappointed with my recent experience. I have been trying to request a refund for Call of Duty: Black Ops for several days now, but every time I submit the request, I receive the same error message: “Oops, something went wrong.”

There appears to be no real customer support available to help resolve this issue, which makes the situation even more frustrating. As a paying customer, I expected a smoother and more reliable process.

Overall, this has been a very negative experience, and I’m extremely dissatisfied with the lack of support and the inability to receive my refund.

World of Warcraft went from an…

World of Warcraft went from an excellent game, to a fortnite version of itself.

The current version has so many cons :
- enemies auto scale : no sensation of progression; you can even feel regression as enemies will gain HP when you level, so they might become even harder to kill.
- dongeon queues mix level 15 to 70/80 players : good luck having any effect or enjoyment on the ennemies when you're not max level. It's like you're not even there, the level 70 will solo carry the dongeon.
- quests are unimaginative and boring : kill X and fetch quests.

Overall, this game went from enjoying the leveling process to...I don't even know how to name this sht.

Oh the mighty have fallen...

The biggest fall to corruption and…

The biggest fall to corruption and greed ever. From a gaming legend and titan to a firm who don’t gives a damn about anything anymore, literally killed the most impressive franchises of the 90s and 2000s and completely lost its way and all respect. What a downfall. It’s really just sad.

Worst company out there

This company can improve by hiring gold fish to do the thinking for them. How a company go from being the best to absolute worst is ridiculous. Just allow mods and the general public will do 1000% better job.

Do not play this game

Do not play this game. They allow scammers to run rampant in the game and when you are scammed, they will not restore your stuff but instead "ban" the scammer when in reality they are punishing the player and rewarding the scammer. It's a waste of time and your loyalty will only be punished in the event something happens to you.

My Opinion on Blizzard Entertainment

My Opinion on Blizzard Entertainment

Here is what I have to say about the company Blizzard Entertainment:

The old Blizzard genuinely cared about its players.

Now, the current Blizzard doesn't seem to care about what people write, whether it's about errors, bugs, or bots. These issues persist despite numerous reports.

The Battle.net application doesn't work correctly. It logs you out of games, constantly forces you to re-enter your password, and throws up errors.

This application, generally speaking, needs fixing because it does not function properly, even with your constant updates.

And finally, that "super" Blizzard Authenticator: Just get rid of this app! It doesn't work. I've had issues confirming my login multiple times because I simply don't receive any notification on the app.

I've been a loyal customer for many…

I've been a loyal customer for many years and recently got my account banned. I then asked the support to appeal, and asked why, and they did'nt even explain to me what happend. I then started to lash out to them, telling them I was unsatisfied with the way of treating me since I've been there since 2008 in wow.

I then started making my new account fresh. Leveled up a mage, warrior and then started on a druid, preparing myself once again for tbc.
To end up being banned yet again.

When I asked them why, they sent me a msg in my mail saying I've bought gold.

Which is really weird considering, I've had my girlfriend doing boosts and dmt to help fund me to get back up, on my feet. Even my guildlead helped me with a fund to help..

So I went on it again. And trying to explain my situation yet again, I got met with a blank answer 'yeah the penalty is upheld' so I sat there in disbelief.

So, my friends and family cannot help me at all. And you're telling me i've bought gold.. I mean how dumb would I be if I lost an account to then buy gold again.

This company has turned to shit. I highly tell you this company and it's support is highly unproffessional.

And Now i'm on my third account trying to get up yet again with no sleep, no pause etc.. to have a chance to play with my friends. because some moron in support pressed a button to close the account entirely.

And you know what the worst part is? I then appealed again since they told me the appeal would be upheld, I then wrote my reasons of what happend... and now they've battlenet banned me.
I mean how childrish can you be?

They don't care about customers anymore, their support is utterly useless, it's turned into a money machine, and I've been a blizzard fanboy in thick and thin.

but now I'm in disgust of the way they've treated me.

Stay away from their games. For your own sake.. I mean it.

I’m extremely disappointed with…

I’m extremely disappointed with Blizzard’s support.
My Battle.net account was compromised and a large amount of gold was stolen from my guild bank.
I submitted a ticket immediately, but it has been over 25 hours and I still haven’t received any help or even a basic reply.
This isn’t a small issue – someone accessed my account, took everything, and I’m left waiting without any update. Losing gold and guild bank assets is frustrating enough, but the slow response time makes it even worse.

I really hope Blizzard improves their customer support speed. Players shouldn’t feel helpless for almost a full day after getting hacked.
