Ordered a gift for my son for christmas on December 1st,. Hasn’t arrived so disappointed it was over £100 and tracking tells me nothing. Won’t use again and will be seeking a refund.

EDIT: The response to this review comes after it was flagged TWICE in an attempt to remove it. I did not harass anyone - I sought a discussion after being blocked immediately on their Instagram. While communicating with staff on their website (yes I used a "fake email", it literally said "this email is fake"or something because I didn't want to give them my actual email?) I simultaneously wrote this review, editing to add extra information from my experience. The "fake email address" wasn't intended to disguise my identity - it was EXTREMELY clear who I was and that they could contact me via instagram if need be. Which they chose to do after they saw my review here.
Also, it is not possible to quality check dropshipped products due to the nature of dropshipping, and they send me proof of their dropshipping. So this is just false.

THE ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Many (if not all) of the promotional images on instagram are sourced directly from AliExpress. If you reverse image search their products you will likely find them cheaper and the same quality on a different website. I havent checked every single product, but I've checked enough to be able to write this review.
The mark-up is obscene and honestly offensive, especially considering the products likely aren't the quality you'd expect from something so expensive.
They used to mark up clothes and now they mark up aliexpress gadgets. At least they're consistent.

Upon contacting customer service on their website (I admit, I'm a bit of a wagon) they attempted to spook me by naming my location when it wasn't necessary. I have screenshots of the chat.
At least I believe that was the intent, as they ignored me when I asked why they'd say something like that.
Admittedly I was combative in my messages to them, but it's concerning that they resorted to something like that.
They then unblocked me on Instagram to ask that I remove this review.

I would also like to express MY intent behind this review:
All I believe in is the truth, and I believe that in this day and age deceptive marketing is huge, huge risk. It's fair to say that many people do not purchase from Aliexpress for reason that the products may not be good quality. The assumption is that higher price = higher quality, this is human behaviour that has been observed time and time again. This is why I believe it's deceptive, as it's not clear where the product came from. It means they don't do quality control (aside from maybe inspecting it when it gets delivered from the Aliexpress seller), it means they are completely unaware of the conditions under which the products are created, it means they are profiting just by being a middleman but it also means that there's very little authenticity in the curation of the products.
In my opinion this is reason enough to give a negative review and hopefully warn people about what they're getting into. Once you're aware, it's up to you who you want to purchase from.

Mixed experience - the product itself arrived well packaged, looks as described and so far works well.
However, I received several emails from House of Bloc requesting feedback despite not having received the item at that point. In addition, I also received an email from House of Bloc telling me that the item had shipped an hour AFTER it had actually arrived. All in all, it strongly gives the impression that House of Bloc is only interested in the revenue and obtaining reviews rather than providing a good customer experience to ensure continued business.

Bought 6 bundles of clothing when they were clearing stock to rebrand as homeware store. Many items were dirty/stained. Was expecting a mix of good brands and less popular brands but several items were also unbranded or a cheap production item like fruit of the loom.

Made a few orders. clothes themselves are good etc, however couple of orders i’ve had have been partially refunded back as items are now out of stock. (Not great, but understand this happens) one order took over 13 days to arrive and another contained an item which colouring had faded although being brand new (I decided not to raise this and keep item as was well priced)

Which annoys me most is I’m currently awaiting on a refund for a cancelled order at current… chat was quite responsive at first but are now not responding at all.

Asked to leave a review but items have not even shipped, reached our a week ago with query about order but no response even after requesting again, very upsetting.

delivery received, clothes in good condition

Everything in the delivery process was excellent, I'm just a little disappointed to have noticed stains on the garment (white), which had not been shown on the photos on the site if I remember well. Excepted this point, the items were in an excellent condition !

I ordered a sweatshirt from here it came with no damage or stains despite being pre owned which was good but my only complaint is the delivery time (1 week) took longer than was specified (2-3 days)

Finally, a website that has a selection of well curated vintage clothing goods and doesn't just stock random rubbish. Outstanding prices and I like how there is nice amount of blanks to choose from.

Dispatch took longer than advertised and had to chase it up.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company, who have lied, accused me of false allegations and tried to not follow UK regulations when dealing with my refund. I ordered items totalling £100+, and requested a return and promptly returned all items within the correct timeframe as allowed by UK consumer regulations. This company at first tried to claim that the items I had returned were returned outside the returns period and offered me credit for the store. When I informed them about what the regulations are and that I would like to receive a full refund into my bank account, I received the most unprofessional email I have ever received from a company/customer services. The employee at bloc vintage claimed I had worn the items and that the tags had been replaced, therefore refusing a refund. They also implied that I must have done this before to other companies. Now first of all, to try to refuse a refund on the basis of items being worn is the most laughable and ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard when your company literally sells 2nd hand WORN clothes. Secondly, they never provided proof that tags had been replaced (as tags weren’t replaced so they couldn’t). And finally, it’s very convenient that I am accused of all this after I refuse a credit refund and want a cash refund, wouldn’t you think you would refuse a refund outright if I had done all of the accused in the first instance? Bloc Vintage never responded to any of my emails regarding the matter, hiding behind the buy now pay later company which it has taken 8 months for me to finally get a refund from after providing countless amounts of evidence that I am entitled to a refund. No doubt if I had paid directly to Bloc Vintage I would never have seen the money again. There is also another review on here recently with a similar experience, so sadly this seems to be something they do to their customers. It’s disgusting that they have tried to take advantage of a consumer like this. I trusted bloc vintage based on reviews and the size of the brand on social media, but trust me if you are wanting to refund items, you run the risk of going though the experience I have.

Just for clarity, I did purchase in July 2022 however I am only posting now as finally I have had the refund issue resolved by the buy now pay later provider, however NOT by BLOC vintage, who have refused to engage in emails throughout this process.
