Blogger is the most user-friendly blogging platform. I've been using this platform since 2014 until now and have no problems with it so far. The only reason I give 5 stars is that Blogger provide features such custom domain, meta tag for SEO, theme, earnings, and more. In my opinion, Blogger is the best blogging platform for beginner.

Best platform for starting own free blog. I am benefiting their service since last 8 years.

New Interface is Really Bad. It is very hard to work with mobile and visual editor don't have enough rich text option as before.

I have two blogs on Blogger, and find it easy to use and very feature-rich. Maybe it's improved over the last year or so as I see many negative reviews in the past. The only (tiny) negative I find is that my postings are in chronological order whereas I don't always want this. However this can be worked around by adjusting posting dates later.
I'm not a professional, but I like to "prettify" my blogs with pics etc. and find this very easy to do. With free hosting as well, I give it full marks!

I'm done with blogger. I create my blog, shows up in search results then I get an email saying my website has a redirect error. I've changed website addresses, bought domains and it still does it. I'm not doing anything with the website. I pick their themes, pick an available blog address and it still happens. Going with WordPress now.

The website promotes criminal behaviour and child abuse! There is a website running from 2018 and when I tried to report it, it repeatedly failed! I do not quite know how where can I report it as I am not from the US and How can I report it anonymously, if anyone who from the US knows, please take action!

The blogger owned by Google is a breeding ground for thieves and con artists to steal people's work. Do not expect Google to take action.

It is useless and dangerous. Yes, it's useless for people who look for serious blogging. I have posts not indexed for over 4 years, for example. So don't expect any better exposure. About the layout and UI? Damn dull.

Why is it dangerous? Guys with malicious intention or paid negative SEOs use this platform to create as many subdomains as they need and send backlinks to divert the Search engine bot's attention on a site.

I have a couple of sites with this issue, when I contacted Blogger and explained this, as usual, there was not a single reply from them. I think It is not a well-monitored/organized platform.

Good for minor blogger but not for professional.

Blogger is a platform that has a lot of features.Affiliate marketing links integration,landing page modification and edit so you can develop your own theme in detail and if you have a lot of followers you can activate adsense.It needs a lot of inner platform studying and a strong know how of promoting a blog.However it's the simplest platform for a beginner.

There is Lots to Be Improved. Sometime I wonder why Google neglect Blogger being such a popular service.

I can't believe this platform was created by google.
It is not intuitive at all, not interactive (you must publish first to see how the blog works) and the themes are out style. The help section doesn't help.
Offline editors (like Microsoft Open writer) do not work anymore.
I created a free account in Wordpress and it is a million times better.

Easy to use. Completely free. Suitable for newbies. It will be better if Google take care of Blogger seriously

I have been using the Blogger platform for over seven years now and have always preferred it over the other platforms. Customer support has been issue but I was able to find help through tutorials posted by people in forums and blogs. However I just saw this thread and noticed that whoever is handling the customer support from Blogger's end is ridiculing the reviewers with a spam reply (pasted below). Instead of spamming customers, please respond to the negative reviews and resolve their issues.
