12/27/2024

12/27/2024. I reapplied for a new loan with this company and my last payment on old loan was taking out today for 70.00 dollars. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them verifying info stuff and waited for 15 minutes for them to tell me I have to wait on a 70 dollar payment to clear. Which was the last payment on that loan. I would not recommend this company at all. They made money off of me. So now I have to wait 3-5 days for this last payment to clear.. I have never missed a payment at all.. this is Ridiculous.

Don't borrow from these people

Don't borrow from these people. They are a ripoff.!!! I only borrowed $500. The payment plan was every two weeks 99.68 through July 25. I made two payments at that amount and was ready to pay them off. The payoff was 551.59 plus the $200 I already paid. Highway robbery. Never again.. 😡😡

Most horrible night in a hotel ever!

The most horrible night in a hotel ever!
I paid for 2 nights at the Gardner’s Inn in Blackheath on a night of sub zero temperatures. Heating was totally inadequate and non existent at night. It is actually turned off at night! See photo of small vent in very high ceiling. There was absolutely no way I could contact anyone in the hotel- no after hour or emergency contact number. I hobbled down the stairs with shocking arthritis and sciatica as a result and left a message on hotel phone to alert staff this morning at 8 am. The manager this evening showed no understanding and no customer service skills whatever. The matter will go to Fair Trading. To top off the experience the tv didn’t work and the bed was hard as rocks.

Blue Mountain Forces Customers to Have Auto-Renewal: Unwise Business Practice

Blue Mountain is a fine company with respect to their cards and card selection, offering both E-Card and traditional card options. Unfortunately, their poor business practice of requiring customers to be in an auto-renewal program, rather than making auto-renewal optional, negatively impacts their reputation, and results in the loss of many potential customers, such as myself. I was a member for awhile but when I found out that I could not remove auto-renewal from the account, I cancelled. Top tier, highly reputable companies always allow an opt out of auto-renewal. It is unfortunate that a company with such an excellent reputation for their cards and greetings, resorts to such an unwise business practice. Additionally, top tier companies allow for pro-rated refunds with 30 or 60 day notice. Blue Mountain does not offer prorated refunds. According to their website, any cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term. If Blue Mountain wants to improve their market share, improve their reputation (rated only 1.3 out of 5 on this Trustpilot website), and improve their customer service, they will hopefully consider allowing an opt out of autorenewal. The way to do this is to default to autorenewal upon signing up (as some customers are fine with this), but then to allow the customer to manually remove the auto-renewal at their discretion. As a former customer, and former quality VP in another industry, I do hope they will consider the recommendations offered here.

Blue Mountain is a scam

Blue Mountain is a scam. I didn't even know that I had stored my credit card on their Website. Then, when I thought I was sending FREE eCards, I was charged $31.79. I immediately called and was advised that they would not refund the money since I had "ordered" cards even though I thought they were free. BEWARE! This is a scam.

Scam!

I cancelled my membership on 9th April 2924. This was acknowledged and that my membership would run out on 24th April. I decided to send a few cards and could not. On 25th April they took $29 from PayPal pre-approved. My fault for not cancelling this at the same time. I asked for a refund only to be told membership is not refundable and discovered my membership has been automatically renewed. Even though I cancelled the service in writing 3 weeks before it was due.
This is a scam.

This isn’t a good lender

This isn’t a good lender, they are very fraudulent when it comes to handling loans. You open a 500 dollar loan and end up paying thousands. Do not trust these lenders.

SCAMMERS be aware they will tell you…

SCAMMERS be aware they will tell you your loan processed and is in the bank account shown. When you say no its not they then want you to send a screenshot of your bank info to them again. 3rd call to them to discuss they hang up on you especially if ask them for any proof the loan was sent.

BEWARE

BEWARE! This "business" will not stop billing you! You can go online to their website and select "Cancel My Membership" and nothing changes! Next month? Same bill arrives. This is my direct personal experience. NEVER USE BLUE MOUNTAIN. I have exactly the same experience as everybody below. Avoid at all cost

One can never "personalize" their E-cards…

One can never "personalize" their chosen e-cards unless their names are "Amanda", "Jameson", "Jake", "Adam", and the like. There should be an option to add specific names into the field when their list of names does not apply. Additionally, their "free" account is a joke! There's nothing "free" about their website. You can't do anything until you provide your credit card information and pay their yearly fee of close to $50.00... There was also an incident when I was unable to send any cards for 3 or 4 months from their website, due to their website having a glitch that would pop up with an error stating that the website was down, due to a technical issue they were dealing with. This kept happening each time after I had already prepared to send several e-cards via e-mail. Yet, this website did not offer to reimburse me for any of the money I paid at the very beginning when I created the account. I would give this website ZERO stars if I could...

What is essentially a good idea with…

What is essentially a good idea with imaginative videos is ruined by an IT department which does seemingly no testing or tracing the customer journey. Many of their videos just hang the app. Absolutely terrible. Should be ashamed of themselves.
