Complete SCAM
Complete SCAM, stay away!
I would give negative stars if I could. My bag was lost for 10 days by Air Serbia, Blue ribbon denied a payout because apparently the airline said they loaded the bag on the plane. Yet it wasn’t until 10 days later I was finally reunited.
Funny how my correspondence with the lost luggage department at Split airport confirmed there was no news on where my bag was until day 9, and Air Serbia had closed their call centre because of the volume of complaints so how did they get through?
They then blocked my emails, I provided everything they asked in a timely matter and more, so much detail. And when it came to payout day they just closed my case. Scam artists
DO NOT !!!!!!!!
If I could give a negative star. I genuinely would. My luggage hasn’t gotten to me yet but baby this is the shadiest company on planet earth and to make matters worse it partners with one of the biggest ticketing companies.
1. Filed for my report & everything seemed fine / asked for my documents sent it through they approved.
2. Later sent me an email 72hrs before stating I should send contents of the luggage and info. ( mad suspect thou because an hour later somehow my bags had been found LOL. so I sent an email. No response.
3. I actually had sent a few emails requesting them to drop certain people who I put to be notified on my email also requesting to change the payment.
4. I sent an email saying they need to either get it together & sent correct information cause obviously BA hadn’t ruled my luggage as found.
So conclusion here is that Blue ribbon bag is scam. Secondly you can tell they’ve paid people to give reviews cause there’s actually no payouts neither is their actual information on how peoples luggage’s were found it’s such fraudulent for a company to be advertising itself as good insurance and for companies like cheap pair whom I booked through to keep partnering with them.
FYI - my bags are still somewhere lost in Europe.
Just save yourself. Genuinely.
Blue ribbon is a scam
Blue ribbon is a scam. My bag was lost for 4 days. I put in all the paperwork on time. I even had a phone call from them, letting me know it hadn't been found, within the 24 hour period. And yet they refused my claim stating I hadn't submitted the paperwork in time. When I pointed out the discrepancy ie How did they know to call me about a lost bag if I hadn't indeed submitted the paperwork for said bag,.. they stopped replying to my emails! I've sent them dozens of emails with no reply. I have proof I submitted the paperwork in time, in the form of a phone call from the very same company that says I didn't submit in time! Outrageous. Definitely a scam.
its worst service provider
its worst service provider, we have a valid bag missing documentation from Airways, and even though we have submitted a proper case, it was denied. It worst experience. its fake company with false commitments
Shocking
Shocking.
Our bags never turned up after an awful flight from Toronto to Manchester, took 5 days for my partner's bag to arrive at the house and because it arrived in Manchester after 3 days and then took 2 days to deliver we were due 0 compensation and all the belongings and bag is destroyed.
Absolute joke not worth paying whatsoever.
Blue ribbon bags - abhorrent service
Blue ribbon bags is an absolute waste of money and are not interested in assisting with finding your bags. Losing my bags between Rome and Hamburg on a Sunday and waiting for a response from the airline, resulted in this lapsing the ‘obligation’ of the company to assist. As I have stated to them, my bags aren’t lost until such time they are declared lost. I provided all the info that I received from the airline from the day of the event, only to be told that they won’t be paying me anything… this then lead to a 6 hourly update by blue ribbon bags telling me they weren’t going to pay and they are doing me a courtesy of telling me this… they have zero customer service, zero aptitude in actually liaising with the airline to provide a response and are incapable of finding your misplaced bags.
Flight centre should not offer this service either as it will no doubt tarnish their brand.
People, don’t waste your time, get a good level of insurance coverage… that’s all you need.
I am sure this service is a scam
I am sure this service is a scam. I sent through the full claim details from the airline details twice but would only get the same automated messages telling me information was missing. When I asked what else they required I got no reply except to remind me I needed to provide everything in 24 hours. After the 24 hours (and their payment time frame for compensation) was up I received a request to send through the same paperwork I had already sent and someone would help. I then got messages for days telling me they were still looking into finding my bags as a courtesy.
In the mean time my bags had been found by the airline and delivered. I let them know but the messages about still looking continued. This is evidence they don't read their emails and don't actually look for your bags or read the attachments you send through. I am convinced this is nothing but an automated email service designed to fob you off for 24 hours and then send you fake update messages for days.

I’ve used BlueRibbon many times and it’s always, 100% of the time; been an amazing experience. The team is super professional and the service is just easy to use. I will use them on every trip in the future.
scam! big stress!
Insurance that is absolutely useless!
if you have lost luggage stress, get ready for more stress from Blueribbonbags.com. We reported the lost luggage according to the requirements and hell broke out from this company - they will send you emails every 6 hours - you have to read them and respond immediately!!! If you are on vacation and have a schedule, you will probably have to cancel it because of this company, because they only give you 12 hours to respond - they sent the email at night of our vacation time and when we responded in the morning it was too late! Every day they send dozens of emails - useless!!!! They only cause stress - in every email they threaten that if you don't unsubscribe, you will lose your right to everything. They present themselves that if the luggage is not found within 96 hours, then you are paid 1000 USD, but this is definitely a scam, because all the time they are trying to make you miss something and not have to pay anything. The last email before the deadline was about the fact that we should write the luggage and all the things in it - but the same thing is in the first message from the airport, which we sent to them immediately after reporting the loss!!!!! they just do everything to make your vacation hell and you have to constantly answer and send the documents they already have before the time limit.....which can't be done while on vacation. |I searched all over the internet and I couldn't find any reviews anywhere that they paid someone money. I call this insurance a scam!!!!!!
Tested and passed with flying colors!
Have been selling Blue Ribbon Bags with confidence, as I was eager to support a company that would help alleviate the trauma of lost baggage. That confidence was recently put to a test when one piece of my client's luggage (yes, I'm a travel agent) didn't arrive in Athens. It took a total of two days and constant status update from Blue Ribbon (nothing from the airline), but the luggage was eventually recovered and delivered to the client's hotel. It was a very good experience knowing that someone was actively searching and monitoring the situation. Talk about peace of mind! I will continue to rave about their services!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME Such a “shi***”company, even if you informed them within a time frame they would never do anything I have reported them within 5 hours and they still don’t want to do anything all they will say is just you didn’t report on time, f*** them

Ive been using Blue ribbon bags for my clinets (I have a travel agency)
in one week I had 2 different situations, one in Mexico and the other in Tel Aviv, both cases were solved satisfactory with BRB, in my 35+ years in the travel industry I can say this is THE MOST EFFICIENT luggage tracker nowadays, 100% trustable
I only work with my Rep
I only work with my Rep, CD Lazer, who handle this problem with urgency, very efficient and with great patience. He kept me up to date and I could see all the mails sent to my clients as BRB kept in touch with my clients during the whole time. I will definitely keep selling BRB to my clients.
Beware - awful service
Sent us their policy confirmation on 23 May 2023 for our 5 week holiday that had started 17 days earlier..luggage went missing on evening of 20th May - they refused to help "because we didn't notify them within 24 hours even though we notified them immediately upon recieving their email with their terms and conditions..."
Save your money! USELESS service
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! NEVER BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. I was told that because I filed my lost luggage 25 hours after my plane landed instead of 24 that they could not (or should I say would not) help me. I would like to disclose that I was last seat on my plane, had a very very long customs line and waited at baggage claim for a while until I realized my luggage was lost. The fact that all of this considered they wouldn’t help me or refund me is just the perfect example of their TERRIBLE customer service and lack of consideration for their customers. Oh and their email was very rude and condescending which was the cherry on top. Save your money these people are useless.
Blue ribbon bags is a big fraud!
Blue ribbon bags is a big fraud!
This is how they fool people. If you are outside of The state of New York you have no rights whatsoever to claim!
They didn’t even share this with me until i did a claim! It’s even illegal here in The Netherlands to sell this service. Supersaver should know this!
I will put a seperate claim on Supersaver because they are part of this misleading of customers.
This is what they give you when you want to claim a lost or delayed bag:
"Governing Law; Jurisdiction: This Service Agreement and all claims arising from the agreement of the Parties contemplated herein, whether or not arising directly under this Service Agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to conflict of laws provisions. All decisions regarding Mishandled Baggage Reports are the sole responsibility of Blue Ribbon Bags. All Third Party Sellers or distribution partners of the product have no influence, or barring on any decisions made with regard to any existing Mishandled Baggage Reports, including all Denials, Closures, or Qualifications for the Blue Ribbon Bags Satisfaction Guaranteed Payment. This includes all Denials, Closures, and Qualifications for the Blue Ribbon Bags Satisfaction Guaranteed Payment.”
After 4-5 days of my bag going missing
After 4-5 days of my bag going missing, I lodged a claim. BRB took 2 months to send the money!
Stay Away
Stay away, this is a scam. This company kept on claiming that my baggage has arrived at the airport when I have shown them the airline's baggage tracing website which specifically stated that it wasn't there. Total waste of money and time. Save yourself the headache, don't ever purchase a policy from this company.
I didn't even know I had the service…
I didn't even know I had the service included in my package. Thankfully, I got my baggage within 24 hours.
I had a great experience with BRB
I had a great experience with BRB. I filed my claim in the mandated 24 hours and they expedited its return. I would have been screwed without them.
