There are alot of services like BlueSteps on thr market but I found my investment (and these investments are not cheap, unfortunately), has had the most bang for my buck with Bluesteps. As far as the executive job market goes, they were right on the money. So many other places offer much more junior advice and oppurtunities. A big thank you to the whole team at BlueSteps.
Beware of BlueSteps
I purchased Lifetime BlueSteps Membership with Career-long Premium Services. After just a couple of years, BlueSteps now says the subscription does not exist and I have to pay again. Months have gone by and they just keep stalling by talking about ongoing reviews, and don't re-activate the account. Where can I file a complaint - are they scamming people?

I have not had a membership with them for over 10 years after I cancelled and did not bother with them because I received virtually no value from them. And then out of the blue they charged this year! 10 years later! I cannot cancel my account and they will not allow me to remove my credit card and payment information online. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!
This is nothing but a scam!
I purchased a lifetime membership for HK$ 3346, which is equivalent to USD 440 back in December 2021 and a career-long premium service. However, just two years later, Bluesteps silently discontinued my lifetime membership without any prior notice or form of rectification.
Back in 2023, I experienced the first issues with my account, as my profile was either partly or entirely inaccessible, parts were missing, and so on.
Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I consistently received only their standard instant replies: "We would like to inform you that we have recently undergone a system transition....or some other lame excuses.
It is worthwhile to mention that my purchase history has been manipulated, too. My lifetime membership bought in Dec 2021 was never reflected there but instead a "free" membership with a starting date of 9/11/23.
On top of that, and totally out of the blue, I was charged an "annual" fee of HK$ 775 on 15 February 2024. I immediately revoked this unauthorized payment and reached out to customer support again...but of course, in vain. No reaction, nothing!
So the HK$ 775 was billed to my card, and one would guess I have a valid subscription until Febr 2025. However, my profile is no longer visible, and I´ve been told, "Your profile is currently NOT visible to world-class search executives and agencies. To give your career the boost it deserves, SUBSCRIBE NOW and secure the visibility essential for your success!"
I have reported this to the FTC, and I highly recommend it to anyone to do the same.
To summarize it: This is nothing but a scam! Just in case, I can prove all statements with screenshots and the like.
UPDATE 11 March 2023:
In the meantime, a so-called chief happiness officer has reached out, and they have given back the HKD 775. They have also opened up my profile again, but some features, such as my career history and the like, were still not accessible
I just checked my profile. I discovered I have access to all features again, but my entire profile has been deleted, so I must key in everything again. The purchased content history is still wrong, as it still sets a “free” membership and the wrong starting date, which might lead to the same issues that occurred before again.
DON’T GET SCAMMED
Bluesteps is a terrible company with non-existent customer service. I have emailed multiple times to cancel my account and request a refund and have not received a single response. I have also reached out to Bluesteps via LinkedIn and messaged their “managing director.” No phone number to call, no responses to emails, no real services provided and no CEO to hold accountable. It is a SCAM that preys on vulnerable people looking for work. DON’T BE A VICTIM.

I have emailed Blue Steps multiple times at info@bluesteps and support@bluesteps to CANCEL with NO reply. Unfortunately, there is no number to call so I had to resort to emailing to attempt to cancel my account. After one month and multiple emails, I have still not received a reply.
Save your money as and look for other career search options and do NOT use Blue Steps.

I was really impressed with the level of support provided as the communication was not only efficient but the representatives understood my concerns and addressed them with a lot of care. I would certainly reach out again if I have any issues and I am positive that the experience will be just as fantastic.

No response to several emails I sent. With regard to the 2 phone numbers listed on the website - one goes straight to voicemail and the message says "inbox is full and cannot accept any more messages". The second number (1-800) is not a valid number.
Big bang for your buck to help get your next executive role
The resources and webinars were all very helpful in getting me set up and ready for speaking with exec recruiters, HR professionals, and hiring managers. However, the best part was the executive coaching through Simeon Wong and his team, which quickly enabled me to recraft my story, messaging, and punchlines, and refresh it across all media to ensure consistent recruiter-facing image.

Kudos to the customer support team who momentarily responded to my query regarding the lifetime membership (account was on hold due to my inactivity). The issue was resolved right away and in the most friendly way possible. Am grateful to the team who makes a positive difference as a face of the company!

Not reputable, not functional, not worth it
The site functionality was not working - you couldn't fill out 2/3 of the profile detail preventing any real use. The "coaching" is complete BS....it's just a free session for someone to try to sell you a much more expensive coaching session. The customer service was terrible - when you email them you get an automated response saying it's processing a refund which never comes. Had to dispute the charge through my bank. Not reputable, not functional, not worth it.

They want me to pay AGAIN?
I paid for a membership a few years ago and am now suddenly locked out of my account. Instead of going to my profile, the login takes me to a page wanting me to pay again. I have gotten no reply to my query about this problem. NOT HAPPY!
UPDATE: Bluesteps customer service reached out to say my issue had been rectified. When I checked my account it had NOT been corrected. I now get a message telling me I "do not have permission to view" my own information.
