I love my boardman
I do a lot of ironing for other people and this ironing board is lovely and wide And the shaped bit is fab for ironing shirts makes it so much easier it’s not heavy though it looks it cannot fault at all

Low quality board with I'll fitting cover. The shape at the end doesnt help with shirts as much as claimed. Customer service is irratic.

Swift delivery. Good tracking communication updates, throughout my ironing board’s journey. Awesome ironing board, and, it’s massive😆but because of its wide circumference, I am able to iron my clothes that much faster! Smooth surface also. My only gripe is that the iron rest area keeps getting caught up on the end of my iron🤔😬.

This really is a game changer. And if you told me that that game was ironing I’d have said I don’t really play that game (or at least not since the days in the 90s when ironing was a thing you did most weekends, even to pants). So not only has the Boardmann changed the game, it’s put me back in the game (the game of ironing). The extra width is the game-changer - why it makes such a massive difference to be able to iron the back of a shirt in a few swift strokes of the iron, I can’t put into words, but what I can put into words is this: my shirts now *perfectly* fit onto the back of an ironing board.
The real drama happened the following weekend. Having blitzed my crumpled shirts pile, which usually waits patiently for my mother-in-law to *insist* she sees to them, I looked forlornly at the creased bed sheets that had been hung out to dry. With a flourish of words, I announced to all those listening (my four-year old daughter) that I was “going to iron the sheets”. The usual-sized ironing boards make this job incredibly long, tedious and frustrating with the constant repositioning, but this makes light of large, heavy sheets.

And speaking of making light, despite its size, it’s incredibly lightweight, and much easier to handle than our previous smaller board.
But then, disaster struck - my better half arrived to tell me that I wasn’t doing it properly and that, in boarding school, she learnt to iron sheets “like this” (and showed me the correct technique). “Did you go to iron boarding school?”, I asked.

So if you’re tired of wrestling with your shirts (and sheets) on a cramped ironing surface, the Boardmann is 100% worth every penny.

I love the size and shape of the board but find that the cover tends to crease and therefore create creases when ironing. I have tried tightening the cover but it’s still not quite right. Minor quibble but annoying

The board is a good size but the construction could be better. After a year the board is now a bit wobbly and dips at the end.
The replacement cover is far too thin and I have had to add some padding so there is some give in the material when ironing

This is the best ironing board I have ever owned, and I've had a lot, just about perfect for everything, shirts are a doddle as are sheets etc.
I had to have a replacement as the first one arrived damaged (by couriers, I imagine) One email was all it took for me to receive a no quibble replacement, best customer service ever. I hope this company does really well, they should.

I love my Boardmann ironing board! I always iron my bedding and with super king beds this is no easy job. The Boardmann's extra dimensions are invaluable as it makes ironing bedding so much easier. The shaped end is great for shirts/tops, the shoulders fit perfectly around for easy access. I wore out the board cover, it was out of stock for a few weeks, but once it was available, I found ordering easy and simple. In fact, I ordered 2 so as to have a cover in reserve. The order came straight away, I was very pleased with the service. I have recommended the Boardmann to serval friends.

Needed a new ironing boad after last one broke ! Had a look around and although expensive, it had some very good features. Ordered direct and it came in a couple of days, well made but not heavy, wife loved it ! One problem, its plastic feet slipped on our laminate kitchen floor - in one review I had seen that some replacement rubber feet were available. Contacted Boardman and Simon sent out the feet, which are now perfect - excellent customer service. Quite unusual in this day and age to find a compny which cares about its customers, thank you.

Like the bigger ironing surface, the adjustable height, the stability, and the quality of the board.
A small niggle is the location of the height adjuster. It's the other side of the board for a right hand user. But that isn't a big deal.

love the large board more can be ironed but only issue i find is if I'm ironing heavy trousers like jeans i can easily open them up and iron the front and back individually unless i m missing a trick and if so then maybe a ironing guide per item could help

My new ironing board is quite large. However, it is light and easy to manage. The large area means the item can be laid out flat making ironing easier. It goes very well with my new steam generator iron.

Not worth it i put the iron on the iron station and the metal bended now cant put iron on it.
Not had it for 2 weeks
