Absolute joke of a company!

Absolute joke of a company!! Reception staff as useful as a chocolate tea pot, and as for your fitters!! RUDE!! No people skills at all as well as no communication skills. You may well be busy, what about us, taking time off work, you’d think You’d communicate with your customers Instead of turning up to a job, plain and simply kicking off baring In mind we were never communicated anything, we have 2 young children & because of your fitter did not want him In our property with his stinking attitude and tone. Half the job finished from the first lads who were great by all accounts but today different level of customer service!!

Expensive carpets

Expensive carpets, and stained quite badly after 5 years despite a 10 year warranty for stain free carpets etc. Terrible customer service.
Never buy from this company.

Hi Rosie, sorry to here that you have had terrible customer service.
As it isn’t Bogans carpets that offer these warranties, it’s the manufactures. So normally it’s just a matter of sending a complaints form and sending it to them?
Have you had it professionally cleaned?

We also offer a price promise at Bogans so again sorry if you feel we are more expensive than other carpet shops. Even tho it was 5 years ago if you have your receipt and you can find it cheaper please let us know and we will sort.

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service. Have used Bogans several times and have been happy until this time round. Really wouldn’t recommend! They aren’t interested once they have your money! They request full payment before they even start the job. Then when things go wrong don’t even bother to contact. Avoid!!

Regarding the payment before job goes out, we did have to change our company policy at the start of the year, as you can imagine with 3 shops we were fitting 30-50 jobs a day and trusting every single customer to call up or even answer the phone to pay, was causing issues and taking a lot of unnecessary hours.

Never again

Never again. Worst after sales service ever experienced. We had two problems with the vinyl flooring in our kitchen, gravel left underneath and the pattern not straight. I phoned the following day and could tell straight away they weren’t interested. When I described the two problems they called the fitter and immediately accepted the fitter’s reply and that was that. Their get out clause was to ask for my option as to whether the pattern was straight before starting the fitting. I pay them to make those decisions as they’re the experts. As a consequence they would not accept any further responsibility. They did promise the fitter would return to clear the rubble from underneath and we’re still waiting a week later…but not sure I’d let them back in. I’ve used Bogans for many years but never again.

Very poor quality, Very poor service.

I would have expected to get more than 18 months life out of a carpet, it is becoming threadbare, we are pensioners so there is not any heavy foot flow, very poor quality, very poor service, would never buy from this company again.

Beware the pricing and sizing

Beware the pricing and sizing. Tried to quote me 15 Sq Yards for a 12.5 Sq Yard carpet measurement. Is this a common tactic? Got quite upset when I stated I also knew how to calculate sq yards.

Very Disappointed loyal customer

I have been buying carpets from Bogans for over 35 years, I used to deal with Old Mr Bogan when they were in Baird Street in Liverpool, I have probably had 5 through lounge carpets, 4 hall and stairway carpets, and 9 bedroom carpets. About 16 months ago I replaced my through lounge carpet from the Liverpool branch, I also replaced the underlay at the same time, it arrived on time and was fitted no problem, the carpet fitters were nice guys, after about 12 months I started to notice that the carpet was gathering all over but I thought it may settle after time, anyway after 18 months it just got worse, it was wrongly fitted, so my wife rang the Liverpool branch and explained what the problem was, the person she spoke to was not really interested and said we can stretch it but it will cost £30, now dont get me wrong, I am not short of £30 but the amount of business I have placed with this company makes me think its not the money but the principal, I dont know if they have changed the management in this company but they dont seem to be interested in customer retention, so for the sake of £30 they have lost a loyal customer who has always been happy with their service and who have always recommended them, it will be interesting to see if they reply to this review.

Terrible customer service and hidden costs.

Terrible company to deal with, terrible customer service, especially the Two Mills branch.

Watch out for hidden costs, terms and conditions in minute writing on the order form.

Rude and unhelpful fitters.

And the lady on reception/sales, is a ranting, shouty, obnoxious, person. Happy to say she’s been there 15 years, what a terrible ambassador for the business!

Seriously, you try and support an independent business and get this kind of result!

Appalling Customer Service

One of the dearest carpets in the store and it’s flat as a pancake 3 months in - Customer services is appalling - they don’t answer your emails or return calls(3 Emails and 3 calls) - sorry to have to say but I would avoid at all costs and learn from my mistake
