Delivery times are not to be trusted, they may be whatever even when quoted eg. 1-3days. The availability and selection of books is good though.

Deceptive delivery time listing
I ordered a book from Bokus 2 weeks ago.

After I ordered the book, suddenly the delivery time changed to 10-12 working days (so > 2 weeks) to their warehouse plus delivery time by the courier
+ If the book wasn't in their warehouse, why didn't the listing include that in the delivery time?
+ Bokus has that information (otherwise they wouldn't know after the order), but purposely withheld that.

In short, it was a waste of time trying to buy from Bokus.

Every aspect of the process works without problen

Bokus give false delivery times on their website. The product page says 5–10 days, yet it’s been 18 days and the items haven’t even reached their holding center. Since this is the third time this happens, I canceled the order and taking my business elsewhere.

Excellent range of books in print. I appreciate the possibility of wait-listing books to be published in the future. Cheaper than other sellers.

I ordered a book for my husband's birthday ten days before the event. Unfortunately it took a full two weeks to arrive, so I had to rush out and buy a copy from a brick and mortar shop.

I tried to cancel the order and was told it was already too late, and now I have to pay return postage on a book which I only don't want because the delivery time was so long.

I paid over the odds because I wanted to support a smaller national company rather than a huge conglomerate that would deliver in 48 hours but lesson learned! Two stars because customer service has been swift to reply if utterly unhelpful.

Takes way too much time to get your delivery. Ordered there now for the second time and same thing. First time it took 1.5 weeks to get a note that the books were dispatched. Needed the books for a birthday which was super annoying. Arrived after 2 weeks. Now same thing. Ordered a week ago and getting a confirmation of book being dispatched after one week. Book is still not here. Wouldn’t order there again.

I ordered a series of detective stories on this site along with an international shipment to Poland. I was a bit afraid because of the reviews left on Trustpilot and I was not sure whether the delivery will reach the address (I ordered not to my personal house, but to a Polish department of Nova Post which then sends it to Ukraine). Still, everything went smoothly. All the books ordered were in stock, the prices were reasonable, the payment with a credit card went correctly and at once, I got a confirmation email with a tracking number (the only drawback here is that the tracking number had an extra digit in the end, but the link was valid). I placed the order on 25th July and got my books safe and sound on 1st August. I also liked the bright orange packaging and not a standard dull brown box.

What I would like to add to the site is more international literature (at least Scandinavian). And maybe adding some info about the order of the books in the series. Everything else is great, I will definitely order more soon, thank you!

If you need books or study materials urgent I don't recommend Bokus as delivery times are quit long. Customer service is not great either.

Very shady and scammy. I ordered a book in swedish on their site for 140 kr. The book I received was in English (a swedish book). I wrote them and they told me they made a mistake on their site and it should have said it was in English. Then link me to the swedish book which was 250 kr. Ridiculous and reeks of scam. This isn't the first time I've had issues with them.

Brilliant. Great customer service and helpful people who care. Great variety of books at great deals.

Horrible. The company doesn’t show the real delivery time when you order. You will get information after you already buy from them. It says it would takes 5-7 days for them to send an order to courier. Now it has been more than 7 days and the courier still hasn’t received the item from them.

I will not buy anything from this company ever again.

In order to chase the status of an order you might ring the customer service at Bokus - don't bother! They are rude and simply don't care. Wrote an email explaining this and got the standard non-apology "sorry you FEEL you had a bad experience." Honestly, I'd go to Adlibris in future

Terrible app. Have tried to download one book 5 times comes up saying only 1 minute remains for the download and then I get the death wheel. So disappointed ☹️

They always write that any book is available and will ship 2-7 days after order but it's a complete lie.
You're lucky if they ship at all.

TERRIBLE POLICY AND SERVICE.
I pay 29 SEK of shipping but then if I want to return the book I have to pay 148 SEK. It's more than what I paid for the book.
Disgusting.

Books order 10th of December. They promised delivery on time for Christmas Eve. One day prior I got an email saying they won't be able to deliver. Not even an apology was included in their email.
I'm not sure why I keep coming back to this site to buy books. I will have the go with Amazon in the future.

A book seller that cannot actually deliver the books they sell. An absolute joke

Worst site I have ever used just takes my money and tells me my address is to long. I did get my money back after a while tho. Had to log out from my account and then it worked finally.
