Overstepped and changed my electricity provider
Boligportal changed my electricity provider without my consent or informing me. This brought a lot of confusion in my billing got billed by two electricity providers for the same month.. took a lot of time and effort to get through customer care to have this changed. Not happy with how they share customer’s data with third parties.

I am unable to look you up in our system only based on your name here, but it sounds like you have signed a digital rental contract and related to this have made a power of attorney for one of the electricity providers we offer.
BoligPortal does not enlist you with any company - this is always initiated by either you or your landlord and requires your digital signature as well as your CPR number, which are sent directly and encrypted to the provider.

The site is user-friendly and very authentic. They validate the house owners and check all the advertisements. I found too many potential candidates to rent my place in under 10 days, but I had to pay for a premium service so my ad could be displayed at the top of other ads for two weeks.

I understand your frustration waiting for reply, when you have found an apartment of interest and sent your application. Unfortunately, due to offer and demand, we cannot ensure everyone a personal reply, since the landlords most often invite a few for initial showing and - when they have found their tenant - send a general message to all as the update the status on the ad.

I found a flat through them but they purposefully led me to think I was paying for a one time access (very unclear terms and conditions) and realised months later that I had signed up to a subscription. I tried to ask for a refund but no matter what I said they did not budge and retained the entirety of the money (including the last payment made on the day I cancelled). Clearly money making scheme

I am sorry that you have missed our information regarding the ongoing subscription, which is stated multiple times throughout the sign-up flow, including the button you click to switch from the ordinary 28-days subscription to the introductory offer starting with 24 hours limited access before continuing with the regular subscription - unless you cancel within the first 24 hours.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time, as stated in the sign-up flow as well as in the confirmation sent by e-mail where we also write the date and time of the first renewal, exactly to help you be aware of the ongoing renewals and your deadline for cancelling. So no, we are not purposefully leading to pay more than intented, quite the opposite. However, as with any ongoing subscription, it remains your responsibility to cancel when you no longer need to service.

Ikke god service. Umenneskelige. Uden væsentlig grund har de lukket min profil i mere end 2 år! Uempatiske mennesker som ikke kan føre en voksen dialog. Det er mere end 2 år siden og de bager stadig nag over ingenting. Jeg vil anbefale andre at benytte andre hjemmesider end den her.
Not good service. Inhumane. For no apparent reason they have closed my profile for more than 2 years! Unempathetic people who cannot have an adult dialogue. It has been more than 2 years and they are still holding grudges over nothing. I would recommend others to use other websites than this one.

Right after registration and first payment you recieve an e-mail with the date and time of the first renewal to help you cancel in time, if you do not want the subscription to renew. But nice recommendation to borrow someone else's profile, which is a direct violation of our terms and can cause their profile to be closed with immidiate effect.
We offer two types of ongoing subscription, renewed every 28 days or two months. For new customers we offer an additional 24 hours limied access as introduction to the 28-days subscription. This is stated on the button you click to choose this, in the payment policy you must actively accept to continue, in the summary just before completing the first payment and in the confirmation sent by e-mail right after you sign up. The e-mail also includes date and time of the next renewal, regardless of the type of subscription you chose. I get your frustration if you missed this information but I don't share your view of the responsibility for this.
