Buses are comfortable. N safe drivers. Leaves on time and baggage securuty is also well managed. Bookingbis easy as well.

After many emails

After many emails, calls and WhatsApp messages we received our HARD tickets last moment.
Thanks to an Egyptian employee we received the tickets in our hotel.
Beside that, our train seats were in different coaches. We paid more than $100 for a ticket. At the railway station the same ticket at the ticket desk was $20
I understand we had to pay an expensive ticket to receive help if needed and for a smooth experience. None of that became true. For many days I was worrying and got no help. Bookaway mailde me: 'We are working on it'.

Was great experience travel

Was great experience travel. Not delay after the ferry we taken by transport to catch the carrier people to taken us to Kraby destination. The drives was excellent, stopping to service station give us plenty time to have something to eat before take us to destination and thanks to dropped me at my hotel in Krabi.

To order the ride was easy

To order the ride was easy. Driver arrived on time right to the door. Helped with the luggage. Everything was smooth and easy. On the site they say the ride supposed to be 1 hour 30 mins but I knew it’s going to be 2 hours. And it’s not a driver fault. It’s common sense. On the site it’s a computer calculate or people who just operate and doesn’t drive.

Update

UPDATE 2: Bookaway is trying to trick the bank and the public. They sent a tiny 15% cash refund and offered 35% in useless vouchers, claiming the case is "resolved". IT IS NOT. We rejected their vouchers. Giving back 15% of the ticket price is a joke when we lost 2,800 EUR on flights due to their 1.5-hour delay. A voucher for a company we will never use again is worth ZERO. We are fighting for the full refund via chargeback.
Update May 19 - after a long struggle, our issue has finally been resolved thanks to the bank´s intervention. I am glad this matter is now behind us. Thank you.

Avoid this company

Thankfully I gave myself an hour and a half instead of the recommended 30 minutes for the ferry, because bookaway did nothing to explain that we still had to go to the booking location on site, and they didn't have the confirmation at the on-site office. Luckily they made us new tickets and we made our ferry, narrowly avoiding a wasted day on an expensive vacation. Do yourself a favor and book with the actual carrier and avoid the headache this company will put you through.

Also, trying to submit the review through their email "rate us" doesn't work. What a joke of a company.

I booked transportation with Bookaway…

I booked transportation with Bookaway from Boquete to Panama City for over $200, expecting a direct and comfortable transfer as advertised. The service description clearly suggested that we would be picked up and driven to our destination.

While we were indeed picked up by a friendly driver, it quickly became clear that the service was completely misrepresented. Instead of taking us to Panama City, we were simply driven to the bus station in David and put on a public bus. This bus ride normally costs around $15–20.

In reality, we paid more than $200 for what was essentially a short taxi ride to a bus station plus a standard public bus ticket. Had we arranged this ourselves, the total cost would have been around $60 at most.

This is extremely misleading and feels like a complete scam. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this service unless the company becomes transparent about what they are actually offering.

Charged 70% mark up

The contractor/company they used to sell me the ticket charged over 70% increase on ticket price & didnt even have the original bus times i chose. Did not ask my seat choice. 100% do not recommend with current era can just buy yourself at bus station as many tour companies. 70% mark up is criminal

Outstanding customer service

I made a mistake on a booking. It was totally my fault. I contacted Bookaway and customer service reps Danielle, Taylor and Anj immediately responded back to me and totally resolved my issue putting me at ease. I can't thank these three excellent reps enough. If it wasn't for them my vacation would have been ruined. Bookaway is a first class company and they employ the best. Highly recommend this company and I will always use them.

Do not use this company!

Do not use this company. I made a 'fully refundable' booking, which I paid an extra charge for as I was aware that my travel plans were likely to change. Turns out that it is not FULLY refundable as they have a hazy fee policy which allows them to make a charge for refunding. They screwed up the refund then made a further, totally unauthorised, charge to my card without prior notification which they completely failed to respond to when I complained. Scammers.
