Absolutely 1st class

Absolutely 1st class. We purchased Haier HFR5719EWMP American Fridge Freezer in Platinum Inox and it was hassle free from start to finish. Price-wise the best and tracking was incredibly efficient. The delivery team were very helpful and the fridge/freezer is great. We will happily use Boots Kitchen appliances again

Giving it the Boot. Worst customer services …

The worst retail and customer services experience I had for a long shot.

In my opinion a service team designed to send you round the houses. Do not expect a problem to be solved easily. i dealt with several ‘customer services’ representatives, different ones who will repeatedly throw you back to square one, ignoring prior arrangements made. In my view it’s one of two things;, either ineptness or a process designed to frustrate its customers. It’s the small claims court that may be the best course of action here. Boots, whether kitchen appliances or toiletries? Never again!

Superb

I’ve used Boots kitchen appliances three times now over the years. And I’ve been super grateful of their efficiencies.

My recent order was a dishwasher and washing machine. I paid extra to have them delivered and installed and I’m so glad I did.

I ordered them late on a Friday and by Sunday at 11am they were in and ready to use.

Less than 48 hours.

The guys that installed were brilliant. A really good team.

And to top it off, loads of points on my boots card.

Perfect!

Check they have the stock.

After ordering a cooker from this company and paying in full. The delivery date was cancelled due to factory demand and stock.
After much discussion compensation was obtained with another date for delivery.
The same thing has just happened again. The order was cancelled and a full refund was requested. The company then tried to take the original compensation of the price and a stern conversation was had.
If they cannot obtain the item due to demand, then why are they still selling he goods.

Fridgemaster fridge/freezer

Ordered a fridgemaster fridge/freezer from boots appliances who are overseen by ao.com, after 18 months the item has decided to failed and stop working, item had a 12 warranty and after this expired, was never offered an extended warranty like most companies, called them yesterday to find this out and when I asked if they are only given 12 months are you expected to purchase a new item, I also asked did they not expect the goods they sell to last longer than 18 months so which the lady answered yes, but there isn't anything she could do, so now I am left without a cold food facility, luckily the food which had to be destroyed was minimal as I had transferred lots to the larger freezer so weeks ago, the hassle and inconvenience isn't some that I really need at the moment due to also dealing with the death of my mum earlier jn the week, as they say things go in 3's, just waiting fornthe next thing, look forward to receiving a reoly from either ao.com, boots kitchen appliances or fridgemaster/hisense as to why they sell inferior goods.

Best price and quick delivery

Best price and quick delivery.

Only negative was that the men dropping off appliance explained that they could not bring the item into the house though in case it got damaged. However after dropping some pretty big hints about being poorly paid they did bring it into the house for £20!

Same prices as AO plus boots advantage card points!

I was looking to buy a microwave and AO seemed to be the cheapest and I saw the same item on here for the same price as they use AO for the items. You also get boots advantage card points when you use this website. Named day delivery was available for £4 which means you do not have to wait in. Received item as expected and good service.

Attrocious Service, Won't Replace Damaged Goods

Bought a Samsung cooker hood a couple of months ago along with loads of other items for a major kitchen renovation. Got to the point of opening the box and glass poured out. There was zero protection around the glass panes and when querying this with boots the claimed the photo of the box being delivered showed no damage and because I'd reported it damaged rather than faulty, there was nothing they could do. Despite the law stipulating 6 months as the period that goods not being in a reasonable working order should be repaired or replaced, they're having none of it, despite me showing them legal evidence that they should be honouring this timeframe. But told me they were really sorry (as if I care) and that if I'd told them perhaps only a few days past their deadline they'd have taken pity on me. I'm £800 out of pocket and they just don't care, and invited me me to claim on my own contents insurance to cover the cost and/or escalate through Mastercard. Absolutely livid.

We ordered several items from boots as…

We ordered several items from boots as the prices were very competitive. The order was processed efficiently and delivered on time with three members of staff who were exceptional and very professional. We ordered an extractor fan but it was too big in depth and unfortunately it was too big to fit - our mistake - boots were exceptional and arranged to collect the item and it was collected yesterday after a phone call to arrange the collection. Very happy and impressed with the service and would definitely recommend the service.

Shambles!

Bought a tumble dryer and asked for disposal of old appliance. They left it on the drive, promising to pick up the following day. 4 days later and it's still there. 4 calls to Boots who seems to be using AO but unclear as to when it's being picked up. They offered a £20 refund but I have this thing in the middle of my drive now. On hold for 20 minutes after someone spoke to me like I was an internal employee. Still no resolution that has been communicated to me. Painful. Avoid.

Damaged Integrated Fridge Freezer

Purchased with them previously with no issues, this time however they have given me zero communication for my damaged integrated freezer, emailed 2 weeks ago, no response, completed the online contact form, no response, called the number & on hold for what i can only explain as a week of my life & got through to nobody! Shocking aftersales service. Do not use & find an alternative supplier.

A good service and smooth transaction!

A good service and smooth transaction!

Simple —

I had trouble with a different company, who messed up terribly. And so, I was looking for my faith to be restored!

Enter Boots...

I phoned up sales to order a TV. The guy was helpful and clearly spoken. No fuss. No pushy moves.

I took up the Price Match deal they have, and they were happy to oblige (so I paid the best price on the market.)

And then the courier service —a massive piece of the puzzle— took over, and this was key for me...

They actually delivered. And. Throughout the process —right from the off— the tracking was spot on. And so, I had confidence the item would be with me (unlike the prior place I ordered...)

I could even pick an earlier delivery slot, ONLINE, after my purchase (which the sales guy said I should try.)

So what can I say?

Nothing crazy happened. I ordered. I got what I paid for. No fuss.

Almost not worth a comment.

Yet. Because we are not nearly as motivated to share good experiences as bad, I wanted to break pattern and give some kudos to Boots Kitchen Appliances (and reassurance to those on the fence.)

AVOID THIS COMPANY AND AO THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY

I purchased a hoover dishwasher from this company that has developed a fault after only 15 months at cost of £319.00 . This company refuse to pay for repairs unless it is as they state an inherent fault . This is irrelevant as under the sale of goods act a product costing over £300 that fails in 15 months is not durable or fit for purpose. This product is built with parts that last an unacceptably short time . I am now starting small claims action against them to cover the repair costs. I have bought numerous electrical appliances from boots and AO who are the same company in this situation and will never buy from either of them again. Terrible customer service.

I have nothing but good things to say…

I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service revived from both Chloe and Caroline recently.

Having purchased an integrated fridge for my elderly Dad which arrived minus the legs/feet, we made do with the ones off the old appliance.

Contacting customer service, Chloe agreed to replace the feet in case of future need, but needed the serial number from the appliance. She followed up our call, and having not received my email with a picture, Caroline pursued further to ensure the call could be completed, even ringing back today to confirm the action taken and the edd for the missing parts.

I know this is managed by AO, but have not had to use customer service before, either with Boots or AO. More than happy 😃

Just fantastic all round

Just fantastic all round. Their customer service is second to none! Polite, extremely helpful, delivery, to the minute updates. Can not recommend highly enough. Extra bonus was advantage card points too.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Received notification I had paid and placed my order for the 5th Dec placed on 30th November order number BTS8967545 stating I would be called on the day of delivery at 7am. We stayed in unit 2pm waiting for “the call” from the driver but no such luck. I then rang boots and was put on hold for 22 minutes! When I finally got through the delivery driver arrived at the same time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, IF I treated my customers like that I’d go bust.
