We have recently had a new bathroom installed. The help we received from the people in the shop was really good, no rush no push. Andy the plumber was excellent. Talked us through the process before the installation. He kept the mess to a minimum (you cant have a new bathroom and no mess) tidied up as he went along. Sent photos of the progress. Excellent job, really pleased with the outcome.

I had my bathroom completely restyled by Boro Bathrooms Rochdale five years ago, including the installation of a walk-in shower. The quality and finish were fantastic, and I was extremely happy with the result.

Recently, one of the shower panels unexpectedly shattered. Unsure of what to do, I contacted Boro Bathrooms. They immediately raised the issue with the glass manufacturer, who suggested it was unlikely to be a flaw that would appear after five years. Despite this, Steve at Boro went the extra mile to investigate further. He and his manager agreed to supply and fit a brand-new shower enclosure — using glass from a different supplier — for just £250, even though the enclosure itself should have cost around £1,000.

This level of customer care, five years after installation, is truly rare and highly commendable. Both Steve and the fitter, Jamie, were brilliant throughout the process. I now have a fully fixed shower enclosure and couldn’t be happier.

If you’re considering a bathroom renovation, I highly recommend Boro Bathrooms Rochdale. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is second to none.

Amazing service, really nice end product

In June 2023, we approached Boro Bathrooms in Bury to discuss a bathroom refurbishment since my wife required a walk-in shower instead of the bath following major surgery to her left leg. The initial discussion went well and arrangements were made for someone to survey our requirements.

A gentleman arrived within a few days to take some measurements and we talked about options. I also needed the shower mixer tap replacing urgently because the thermostatic cartridge had failed in the existing mixer tap and I had purchased a new mixer tap due to the age of the old one. He made some notes and said he could not undertake the refurbishment work until September, which was fine, but he could replace the mixer tap fairly soon. He said he would be in touch shortly with some plans.

We heard nothing and contacted the showroom after a couple of weeks to see what was happening. We were told someone would contact us. We are now in some weeks on and we have still heard nothing, not even a call to say the company is not interested in the work.

I have since contacted a local plumber to deal with the mixer tap but that has proven more complicated that I anticipated and he was unable to complete the work, due to the pipework being inaccessible behind a tiled wall, because it was necessary to make adjustments to fit the new mixer.

I was pleased I had not attempted the job myself, although I may have to do so now.

I would not recommend any company that is rude enough to simply ignore customers.
