I bought a new garden shredder model AXT Rapid 2200 from Band Q Dover.
Absolute rubbish.
Made in Eastern Europe I can see quality is terrible now. 225 pounds.
The first thing I noticed that the motor protection filter hadn't been fitted properly. It covered only about 80 % of the motor so completely useless and cannot be corrected without completely dismantling the unit.
Worse than that it just didn't work. Completely dead.
So back to the shop 2 hours after buying it I got a refund.
So I bought a cheap Chinese b and q macullogh brand unit for 99 pounds.
Well made it worked really well and had a filter correctly fitted.
The Bosch name means nothing now. As usual export jobs to cut labour costs and appalling quality is the result.
Bought 2 security cameras, absolutely rubbish, don't connect and glitchy software, complet waste of money.
Need advice on removing kitchen door panel from Bosch integrated dishwasher, which screws to remove
Referred from one advisor to another but they absolutely non existent service. All they could say was that they can’t advise due to safety reasons
Terrible attitude
* I have now received a response from Claire at Bosch offering to but can’t find a way to get in contact with her !

Terrible customer service, even after writing a review on trust pilot - their instructions for contact are complicated.

Poor design of cast iron supports on new model 5 burner 90cm gas hobs. You can't use use 2 pans at same time. Please bring the older design back, which looked nice and was practical too.

My Bosch toaster started getting overenthusiastic and was overdoing my toast even on the lowest setting. Hot cross buns fared even less well. Luckily it was still under warranty. The warranty process was easy and seamless. I didn't even need to pay postage to send it back to them, as would be required with many other companies. I quickly received a new toaster which functions perfectly.
If I could give zero stars I would!
Integrated microwave faults JUST outside of warranty.
Unable to register new hoover because their website is absolutely disgraceful.
Trying to log into your account for anything is near on impossible, for a company that boasts top technology - I think not. Everything on their site to extend warranty or register a product is designed to make you not bother.
In future I will avoid Bosch at all cost.
For the guy that drew the short straw to reply to me - would you like me to publish my personal information - or is there anywhere, at all, in the UK that I can reply to!
24/04/26 Update.
Called today by a lovely lady called Julie from Bosch. She has provided an email where I can send the relevant information to get hoover warranty.
Also an engineer is booked to look at my microwave and the only reason my review remains at 2 stars is because you dont expect this expensive kind of technology to break down, right at end of warranty.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Bosch product quality and customer service.
I purchased a Bosch induction hob (Model: PIE631BB5E) in October, and after only a few months of normal use, the glass surface developed a crack running from one corner to the opposite corner. The appliance has not been subjected to any impact or misuse, so this raises serious concerns about the durability and safety of the product.
When I contacted customer service, the issue was immediately classified as “cosmetic/accidental damage” and declined under warranty — without any inspection or technical assessment. I was instead offered a paid engineer visit.
I find it unreasonable that a product of this type and price point can fail under normal use in such a short time, and that no proper investigation is offered before rejecting the claim. A crack across the cooking surface is not just cosmetic — it affects both usability and safety.
I expected better product quality and a more thorough and fair approach to customer service. I would appreciate this case being properly reviewed, ideally with an inspection, to determine the actual cause of the failure.

I have only had the machine for around a year and a half. My washing machine broke down and a technician visited on 20 March 2026. I was told a part was needed but it was not in stock.
Since then I have contacted the company twice for an update, but I have simply been told that the part is still unavailable and there is no clear timeframe for when it will arrive.
Being without a washing machine for this long is extremely inconvenient, and it is quite frustrating not to have any idea when the repair will be completed.

I purchased a Bosch combi microwave oven which was quite expensive only to find later that the maximum microwave power of 900 watts should only be used for liquids. Bosch stick rigidly to this limitation and will use this in any subsequent discussion, for example in the event of a fault. They say that for non liquid food it should only be used at 600 watts. When I pointed out that food cooking instructions never give times for 600 watts and therefore there is a safety issue relating to cooking time and sufficiently cooked food they said they could understand that and they were sorry that I felt that way. I’ve never come across any microwave ovens with similar limitations and see this as a massive disadvantage of this premium brand

Major design fault !
Bought the small Bosch Strimmer from B & Q for my very small garden.
Every time I try to use it it "snaps" the cutting chord ! Necessitating a re-fit. Then I noticed it's running speed was extremely fast.
As a retired electrical engineer I gave it a proper technical examination - These are the faults determined:
* Too high speed resulting in repetitive chord failure. even after only a few minutes.
* Cutting chord it'self is woefully of the poorest quality which combined with the "above" fault is simply exacerbated.
In short, this product is "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" !
Being able, I have reduced the max speed and used a good chord (not Bosch). Results ? It works in a fashion.
Final comment on this item ? Bloody awful !!!
WORST MACHINE I HAVE EVER OWNED
I purchased a BOSH WGG254Z1GB 10 Kilo Series 6 Washing Machine in February 2026 after reading all about it and checking its blurb on BSH and other sites. WORST MACHINE I HAVE EVER OWNED in 58 years!! You can’t read the display screen, the dial for the wash selection doesn’t make a sound as you turn it, it doesn’t sound an alert when the wash ends, twice now it hasn’t spun the load but left it soaking wet so I have to use the spin/empty setting. Worst of all, is the display (non display). Engineer came out and had to kneel down right in front of machine to read display, said it was fine then said you are not supposed to read it whilst standing in front of machine. As for the dial, he said it just makes a very quiet click and only displays’END’ - no sound. He also told me I should have bought a higher spec machine in the 10 kilo Series 6 range as this was the bottom of the range - at over £500 - REALLY?!!! I called John Lewis Customer Services who told me I need to stand 1 to 1.5 metres away from the display in order to see it clearly!!!! My arms aren’t that long to reach the settings!!!! Also, there was nothing on the machine details on line to explain this. I was also told that this model doesn’t make sounds as the dial is turned, nor does it notify you when the wash ends. Also, that in a mixed load, the maximum load is 4 Kilos, dry wash. I weighed my mixed load and it was only 3 Kilos dry. But it did not spin and was left sodden in machine.
I am unable to kneel or bend and have always been able to set my all my previous machines displays clearly.
Never again will I buy anything at all from BOSH. I have many BOSH appliances, from drills to pressure washers etc., but this is a piece of trash. It looks nice, and when it actually washes and spins, it gets the clothes clean.
However, what use is a washing machine when you cannot see the light or information for the setting you require.
You can sometimes see the display if you stay up all night and turn all the lights in the room off!!!!
Customer Services at BOSH just told me that the machine was as designed - I think they need a new designer.
Since this review, BOSH asked for my email and mobile number so they could contact n me but, so far - now end of April, they have only sent me advertising emails. No contact regarding this diabolical washing machine!

In our Brand new house with new Bosch appliances. The fridge compartment doesn't work. Two engineer visits later it still doesn't work. Bosch refuse to change it for a new one instead say they will keep trying to fix it until they deem it unrepairable. We have another engineer visit due next week. Meantime we can't store fresh food but instead have to live like its 1930.

I had a Bosch washer that lasted 12 years without any repair so purchased another Bosch series 6 washerdryer. Live alone so not used as often as a family. Purchased this on July 2022. After 3 years dryer stopped working and the motor had to be replaced, then the hose split also its intergrated & cant be moved back flush with kitchen cupboards it pretrudes out as hoses take up room at back. My cupboards are standard 600mm. It was fitted by Currys. The appliance was provided through Currys who have been good with repairs. I took a 5 year warranty out with it. I would probably purchased another brand in the future.

The Bosch recirculation kit DWZ1GK1U2 for use with Bosch inclined cooker hood is a complete waste of money. It doesn't solve the problem of getting rid of cooking smells or steam from cooking it merely blows it out of vents at the top of the hood chimney and all around the kitchen area causing massive condensation problems on all cold surfaces ie units , walls. Vastly expensive piece of plastic and alu, doesn't work and after 9 mths frustration is now in the bin where it belongs.

I purchased this integrated fridge freezer from AO.com and it has been a disaster from the moment it was installed.
Within hours of installation, my electrics began tripping repeatedly. This had never happened before this fridge arrived. AO.com sent an engineer who found nothing wrong — yet the problem continued. I have been unable to do my laundry at home throughout this entire ordeal. AO.com then referred me to Bosch, and Bosch has been even worse.
The fridge itself has multiple faults. It has been building up excess condensation and ice at the back. The fridge door does not even close properly. These are basic, obvious faults and yet every engineer who has attended has dismissed them without proper investigation.
I waited over a week for the Bosch engineer to attend to see if it is faulty. When he finally arrived, he insulted me in my own home, made no attempt to inspect the appliance properly, and walked out. Apparently, it is common to have water at the back of the fridge. He spoke in a raised, aggressive and insulting tone from the moment he arrived. I explained clearly that I am neurodivergent and asked him to lower his voice. He refused, said "this is how I talk," accused me of raising my voice, and left without carrying out any checks. I was left shaking, so distressed that I was in tears. After a week of waiting, I was given nothing, not even basic respect. He sat outside my house for 10-15 minutes instead of inspecting the fridge and fixing the issue.
I raised a formal complaint and was told I would not receive any updates on it. That alone tells you everything about how the Bosch company treats its customers.
This is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I have had multiple failed repair attempts, a dismissed complaint (no complaint number given), and an engineer who refused to make reasonable adjustments for my disability, which is also a violation of the Equality Act 2010. I have been told I have to wait another two days for another Bosch engineer to attend, while I can even use a simple electrical application in my house.
I am formally requesting a full collection of this fridge and a complete refund. If this is not resolved, I will be escalating to Trading Standards and the Consumer Ombudsman without further notice.
Finally, the condensation is so severe that even the bread comes out soaking wet inside the fridge. When I complained about this, I was told I should not store bread in a fridge. I have been using fridges to store my bread for fifty years plus. The bread is not the problem. The fridge is. They don't accept that the fridge is faulty. I will never buy Bosch products again, and I would not recommend this fridge and freezer to anyone.
Bosch UK Team – I cannot see any “find reviewer request” option on this platform. I have already provided my account number (87824426). Please contact me directly as this is an ongoing complaint and requires urgent resolution.

Brought a Bosch washer a couple of weeks ago and spent more money than I wanted to, to get a washer dryer with an app so that I can work it whilst out at work. I work long hours so I thought this would be helpful. After reading reviews on the Bosch website I decided to go with a series 6 after reading good reviews. Also a review stating how good the app is with a reply from Bosch saying the smart app was a nice added bonus. Only to discover when I got my machine that it does not have the app on this model. I phoned Bosch to tell them about the misleading review only to be told there was nothing they could do and the very rude man hung up on me. I will never use Bosch again!
The Bosch washing machine is fine except the controls are positioned so that I have to kneel down to read them and even then the writing is so faint I can barely see them. Also the door is very hard to open and the angle makes it difficult to use. I am eighty but I still need a washing machine I can use easily. It washes fine.
I have just purchased a
Bosch Series 8 i-Dos WNC25410GB Wifi Connected 10.5Kg / 6Kg Washer Dryer with 1400 rpm
And i deeply regret it , because if you are a robot you will understand it
Do i need my mobile to operate my washer/ dryer no , i need to inform anyone over 67 years do not buy this machine because you will regret it massively
Will return with an update of my progression
5th April 2026
My persistence and determination has paid off , the booklet that comes with the washer / dryer is designed for an Alien ,the person responsible for the written guide has to be a non-human robot android type person .
I have now a daily schedule of what wash programme to use but with absolute no help from the booklet.

I purchased a brand new bosch built-in freezer and fridge. They already have problems. They are still under warranty, and getting bosch to do something about it has been extremely frustrating. I get bounced around in customer service. When I finally reach someone and express my frustration, they are condescending. I've been trying to get the issues taking care of for a month now and still have no resolution.
