Arrogant children
The pistol didn't go to umarex, it went to John Rothery. Being called a liar and a cheat is not the way to treat customers. I now have video evidence of the fault, which i am dealing with Umarex Germany. Putting notes in the box to the gun smith of "he's very aggressive" has absolutely no bearing on the problem. I wouldnt have been as Scott put it "aggressive" (vocally) if Scott hadn't been curt, rude and accuse me of lying, who does that? Avoid this place they don't have the the first idea on customer care and are so arrogant that because they can't find a fault, the customer must be lying (not the first time they have done this apparently). They wouldn't even send it away to have the distributor look at it. I had to go above them and speak with Rothery directly myself, who then said we will have a look at it, if it wasnt for the note i am sure a fault would be found. The silver lining here is thankfully we have bought anything of major value here. Mainly because they are some 20-30% more expensive than their competitors. No doubt there will be some sarcastic silver spoon born comment to follow this review, purchase at your peril!!!

The CO2 BB pistol returned to us was extensively tested on 2 separate occasions, both times at least a dozen magazine were used, it never jammed once.
The Umarex UK distributors gun smith also could find no fault with the gun. We also demonstrated this to the customer, the only thing we could think off that could cause the gun to jam when the customer was using it is, the co2 is too low (blow back CO2 pistols use CO2 very fast) or perhaps the spring catch which puts tension on the the BB's in the magazine isn't engaged properly.
The customer declined our offer to come and shoot some targets with us, which may of helped shed some light on why the the gun would jam for him but not for us.
It's worth mentioning that the gentleman had previously returned another CO2 pistol that was jammed, we happily exchanged this for a different gun, after closer inspection, there was a BB jammed in the mechanism, which was removed, the gun sold as used and so far no issues. He also returned a third gun which had damage to the CO2 housing, this was returned to the supplier who repaired it free of charge.
If we had found a fault with the gun the issue would have been sorted.
