I have had SMP for nearly 2.5 years now and its life changing. My confidence is sky high. When I was losing my hair I was self-concious and insecure. I tried to hide it (Hid it well to be fair) using hair fibres etc., but I found I was using more and more as I was losing more hair. I became a slave to my barber, paying around £50 a month for a haircut with the same barber, because he knew I was losing my hair and I could trust him to help keep my hair loss a secret, he also gave me a very good haircut which I knew I wouldn't get else were and it was helping me cover my problem.

A friend who had a shave head and a good hairline for at least 2 years prior was talking with me and I was always open to my friends that I was losing my hair because I wanted to point it out before anybody else did because I was that paranoid (Looking back it wasn’t as bad in the beginning as I first thought) However this friend revealed he had the procedure done. I couldn't believe it. I was always looking into hair transplants but was scared to go through with it. My friend told me about Simon and Paul and the service they provided, I genuinely thought he had a shaved head and couldn’t believe he had this done. I went to consultation with my Dad, this was with Simon. Immediately he understood my situation and the way he explained it and really understood how I was feeling instantly made me feel comfortable and I knew this was the right service for me and the right people to help me.

The first session was with Simon and the 2nd and 3rd was with Paul, I cant explain to you how good they were, and how comfortable I felt! Proper gents. After all 3 sessions I just started to feel so much better, when I shaved my hair off before the first session that was life changing I couldn’t believe how bald I actually was then after the 1st session seeing the faint hairline was amazing. It was scary going into work with a bald head though! But being uncomfortable makes you comfortable = confidence! - 3 sessions later especially with the 3d detail I sometimes look and think why isn't it growing! Honestly amazing.

I have had 2 more sessions so a total of 5 as I used the 2 year warranty and ensure I had some sessions each year are the 3rd to fill and gaps or fades due to natural causes. I am confident now, I’m used to being ‘bald’ the amount of people who ask me why don’t I grow my hair etc. is crazy! I have overcome those feelings and I don’t go the barbers unless I need a good beard shave! Honestly I could write so much about Simon and Paul they have transformed my life. Thank you to both of them from the bottom of my heart.

Baldness really affected my mental health and I don’t care what bald guy said it didn’t bother them I can guarantee it did its horrible losing apart of yourself/appearance and these guys help restore that confidence. Fair play to guys who rock a bald head but I just wasn’t confident enough and this alternative was perfect for me.

I feel that I wont need to go back now for a few years for a top up which is affordable. Honestly lads thank you you changed my life for the better. I better stop typing now lol!

I’ve know Paul at Brandwood for 8 years. Quite simply he is the best SMP practitioner in the business.
My 8 year SMP treatment was looking a little tired, but now, thanks to Paul, looks fresh again after two sessions, including 3D scatter affect.
He is a perfectionist and treats your head as his own. Paul wants you to be 100% happy with the results.
I’m from Essex but would travel anywhere in the world to see Paul. He is a master of SMP and I can wholeheartedly recommend Brandwood Clinic for anyone contemplating this life changing SMP.

I discovered Brandwood through an article about Simon Lane's experience and fantastic solution to hair loss. I wasn't coping well with my hair loss and didnt want to go the transplant or wearing a hair system route.This seemed like the perfect alternative!

I met the Brandwood Clinic Solihull Team, aswell as Simon and instantly found him friendly, approachable and knowledgable. I was anxious about the treatment and the expected results but he put me at ease!

I had the 3 sessions and was amazed by the results! The aftercare has been fantastic! I was also asked to do a photography shoot for a campaign and that was a brill experience!

From the initial consultation with Simon, to having my 1st session with Paul, and the 2nd and 3rd with Simon, I was put at ease and found their professionalism and attention to detail reassuring. They took the time out to give me the look I wanted and were happy to discuss things as we went along. The end results were natural and not "blocky" as I saw on other SMP provider's portfolios. Everyone who has seen the results all comment that it looks really good and natural, just as if I have shaved my head with no bald spots. Obviously it's a no brainer, book with them today, it's one of the best decisions I have made!

Simon and the team couldnt of been more helpful, from the beginning right through to my 3rd session I felt I was in compitent hands and the finished product was presisly what I had asked for - in fact better. Super helpful and eager to answer all my questions and put any doubts I had about the procedure to bed. Couldn't recommend them more.

Had my treatments shortly after the 2nd UK lockdowns. In short, I couldn't be happier with the results.

I actually didn't mind going bald. There are alot of great looking fellas with no hair. I shaved my head for a while before the treatment and I actually quite liked how it looked then. I'd recommend doing the same before you consider getting the treatment because you might find that your happy with it anyway!

The reason I went for the treatment was because as I am in my late 20's I just wanted to retain a more youthful look and give myself a fuller hairline.

My biggest concern prior to having completed the treatments was how natural the result would look. If you are looking for a practice that will give you a complexly natural look I would highly recommend Brandwood Clinic, you can see this from their work.

I was thrilled with the results from day 1 though I must admit it took me a few months to completely settle in to my new look. I think part of that was the dramatic change but I now absolutely love the new style and to be fair its not really somthing I think about any more which is the most encouraging.

I personally choose to only tell a couple of people about the treatment. To those I did not the only negative comment I get is asking why I dont grow my hair out! I get complimented on my appearance, girls seem to find me attractive and my mates recon im harder then I actually am with the shaved head!

Do alot of thinking about what hairline and results you want before you go as this will help the practitioners advice you. Take your time when you are in the clinic refining the look you want but know that you are in good hands.

I became aware of SMP about 4 or 5 years ago, and as I’ve shaved my head from my teens (long before I started losing my hair), it seemed like the perfect option. A transplant never appealed to me as I like a shaved head, and after having one for so long I think having hair would look daft. What I wanted was the look of a decent head of hair, that’s been shaved. SMP appeared to be the perfect option.

Since learning about SMP I started following a fair few practitioners and clinics on Instagram, watching YouTube videos, and lurking in forums. All the reviews I read for most of the major clinics were positive. But I started to take them, as only a reflection of the client’s satisfaction with their treatment, and not a reflection of the treatment itself. I would see a positive review with pictures of a treatment I didn’t think was good enough for my own head. Out of the 15 or 20 UK based practitioners I was following on Instagram (over the last 4 or 5 years), there’s only 3 that continuously posted work, which I believed was the style and up to the standard I wanted on my own head. Two of those work for Brandwood Clinic, and it was Paul Clark who demonstrated time after time the soft, subtle style that I wanted.

Before my consultation with Paul I knew I wanted SMP, and I knew I wanted him to do it. During the consultation there was no hard sell, in fact there wasn’t any selling at all. Paul simply explained to me the various stages of treatment, we discussed what I wanted from SMP and the look I was after. From there he provided me with a quote. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted to book in there and then. I was just told to go away and have a think and book in with the office if I wanted to go ahead. The next day, I booked the next three available slots. My first two treatments ended up being further apart than planned due to the government lockdowns. Which was frustrating, as I was very eager to see the end result. But just from the initial treatment the difference in my confidence and was immense. For the first time in years, I was happy to leave the house without (wet) shaving my head that morning or wearing a hat. Paul describes the first treatment as only being about 20% of the finished work. During the second treatment my hair line was dropped slightly and a darker pigment added. When this session healed, I was over the moon. I didn’t see why the third session was needed or how Paul would improve on what he’s already achieved. Obviously I still had the third treatment, just before Christmas (2020). Paul recommended I went darker again and we also dropped my hair line ever so slightly. Following every session I didn’t shave my head for four days as recommended, which is torture as I wanted to see what I was going to look like. Initially after the third session and just after shaving my head I was worried we might have gone too dark, but once it settled it looked perfect. I genuinely struggle to see where my hair stops and the SMP starts. I think my thoughts about it being too dark were just down to the fact I haven’t had anything on my head for years. It’s been finished now for about a year and I couldn’t be happier.

Like most people I was worried about people spotting the treatment or it looking odd, but that just hasn’t happened. Only two people have noticed something different. One being my sister-in-law who’d seen it when it was red and angry, following the first treatment (I’ve got fair skin that goes very red). The other being one of my best friends, who I’d seen at a funeral on day four, after my second treatment. That would’ve been the first time in about 5 years he would’ve have seen me without a freshly shaved head or in hat. Plus I have spoken to him numerous times before about wanting SMP, and even then it took him ages to work out what was different. He asked me if I’d had the hair tattoo or if I was growing my hair. I’m confident now it’s healed that no one will spot the treatment, my own Mum hasn’t spotted it. The difference to everyone else seems to be marginal enough that they haven’t noticed, but the difference to me and my self-confidence is massive.

Everyone that I’ve told about the treatment has wanted to know about the pain. I found at the beginning of each session it’s almost non-existent, and by the end it’s uncomfortable. The worst session being the second one as it’s the longest. The pain doesn’t compare to a regular tattoo and the feeling after the treatment is very similar to getting your head sun burnt. Please don’t be put off because of the thought of pain, it’s really not that bad and the end result would be worth sitting through discomfort ten times as bad.

Paul couldn’t have made me feel anymore at ease during the process, the two hour sessions flew by. You probably can find cheaper SMP elsewhere, but you wont find better.

After having my first treatment at Brandwood Clinic in December 2019 with Simon Lane and being blown away with the results and the wonders of SMP, I’ve recently been back for a hairline alteration in December 2021.
Again the results have been spectacular! I didn’t particularly need to change my hairline but after discussing with Simon, who was so helpful and understanding as ever, we both agreed to bring the hairline forward to bring me back to my more youthful looks!
Since the first time I met Simon, his professionalism in the way he works with his clients and the attention to detail he displays in his work is outstanding.
The rest of the Brandwood team have also been so friendly and welcoming each time I’ve been to the clinic and I really do feel part of the Brandwood family :) If you’re thinking about getting SMP or keep mulling over it, my advice would be to just go for it! It will change your life in such a positive way and give you your mojo back! Special thanks to Simon and Paul for looking after me since my first SMP treatment. Had original SMP done 5 years ago ,all my family and friends have been amazed at how natural it looks. Went back last year for a Top-Up all I can say is if you’ve been thinking about having SMP done, contact BrandWood clinic. They genuinely are the best in the game!!

I underwent Scalp Micro-Pigmentation at Brandwood and cant thank Simon and all the staff enough, from consultation right through to the final procedure, I was made to feel comfortable. The final result is amazing and am so glad I put my initial doubts and reservations to one side as it has had co completely changed me and given me back my confidence. I would definitely recommend using these guys.

Had my consultation with Simon Lane over FaceTime. He answered all my questions there and then. Visited the Solihull clinic to have a test sample and booked myself in.
Had the treatment spread over 3 sessions. I left all the technical stuff to Simon i.e. colour/hairline etc - left it to the expert!!
Result - I couldn’t be happier. It looks natural. Blends in with my “real” hair!

I had my treatment 9 years ago in January 2013 with Simon Lane.

I can’t stress strongly enough what a life changing experience it has been for me moving forward. I simply know that without the treatment I wouldn’t have the confidence I have today and wouldn’t be doing the things I’m doing.

Since my initial treatment I have returned to the clinic in Solihull for 2 visits. Let’s not forget that Simon and Paul are innovators. They have improved equipment and pushed the boundaries to ever improve their techniques and offer new services.

I’ve had 2 top up appointments, the most recent being 3 years ago in a few months. It looks better than ever!

There are other providers out there in the market place but let’s be honest, why would you? I shouldn’t even need to leave a review, the photos provided of their work paints a thousand words.

Also, the other most respected practitioners have now come on board and run Brandwoods other clinics.

If you’re thinking about getting a treatment then don’t hesitate, ladies have hair extensions, eyebrows, nails even boobs enhanced so why not do something for yourself?

I’ve always said, if someone offered me £50k to go back and be the person I was before I had SMP, I’d politely decline. That’s how much it changed my life for the better.

I promise you, you’ll not just be looking better but you’ll be making new friends for life.

No words can explain how professional Paul and his team are, they aren't sales people, they aren't pushy, they let you make your own decisions in your own time. However, once your decision is made they offer the best advice to get you the best results. I had my treatment 5 years ago and its stood the test of time, I recently popped in for an adjustment that "I wanted" and not needed as such, but Paul made the adjustment and it now looks even better. 5 stars all the way and id recommend Brandwood to anyone..... After over 6 months plus of research into SMP providers, I finally decided Paul was going to be the guy to help me on my journey. I came to Brandwood having followed Paul’s career and seeing him on TV many years ago , his experience and expertise gave me the confidence to try this treatment. No other person has his knowledge and I happily traveled 3 hours each way to visit regardless of plenty of other studios being more local. My review is 5 stars - great guy , amazing results , don’t look anywhere else just go and speak to Paul no pressure just advice and enjoy the process and trust him - I did I’m extremely happy 3 years on. I did my research for you all trust me You cannot afford to look stupid or risk it not being 100% so just see him and see his work it’s bang on. Nice clinic , clean , friendly, good location with parking ect, but for me it’s all about Paul Clark I’m sure the team is very good too so book on guys you only live once and if it’s something that’s affordable and makes u look n feel better why not ???!!!!
