I recently bought a remote control set of three sockets. The Brennenstuhl website claims with some pride that these are made in Germany. WRONG, the are actually made in China. Don't believe anything they say.

i am currently in dispute. they have provided an item which gave me an electrical shock as the terminal blocks were labelled incorrectly. They are currently refusing to accept responsibility. will keep you posted

I had a set of 3 remote power sockets made by this company and they performed flawlessly till a week ago when one of them stopped working. I went onto their website to ask for a replacement as it was still under warranty but the company I bought them from on Ebay had gone out of business. I was not expecting to hear back for a while as it was just before Christmas, but then today, the 28th Dec a box arrived with a replacement unit. I was gobsmacked! Thats service for you and with a big smile. I doubt many UK companies would be this efficient, at anytime let alone Christmas. Well done Brennenstuhl!

For two years I have used Brennenstuhl Remote Control sockets (3 sockets and a Remote are in one pack) to control machines from a distance: a CPAP pump, a Venaflow pump and a Dehumidifier: a different socket for each. Only once has a socket (for the CPAP) failed early. I emailed Brennestuhl asking if it could be repaired. Their instant reply (in immaculate English) was to send me a free replacement. They didn't even ask for return of the faulty item. I expected one socket, but they sent me, very fast, a whole pack--3 sockets and a control, beautifully packed and in excellent condition. This is Customer Care of a rare standard. I was ashamed not to be able to thank them in German. What a wonderful firm.
