This place is brilliant!!! Went with my 16 year old son for a free 1-hour taster workshop in essential DIY, and we thoroughly enjoyed GBH-ing a bit of wood and then learning how to stick it back together again, fill and sand to perfection. Lovely vibe, so welcoming and really informative. Excellent tools and PPE. Great fun on a rainy afternoon (has aircon for hot days too).
The delivery of the course was fantastic! It had the right cadence, tone and level of engagement you would expect. Every single DIY Teacher was incredibly patient and provided a lot of contact time at your workbenches so you knew you were always on track.
The most impressive aspect was the Teachers knowledge. When going through the manuals they obviously knew all the steps but the impressive part was when someone made a mistake or miscalculation they knew exactly how to fix it.

Really fun for a total beginner to learn some basic woodworking skills. I went with some friends to build a game we'd played on holiday - the team helped us with the design, and showed us how to use the equipment. Really relaxed environment, and the team were excellent (they didn't care if you were a total novice). Great fun.
