What made the experience great for me was that my tutor helped me every step of the way, all the information you need is in each module so it makes assignments and quizzes easier to do!
You work at your own pace and you get to do everything on your own!

I was doubtful at first since there are a lot of scams out there, I checked everything and they are 100% real. Now the content was truly helpful, I was able to put in use what I have learned since module 1. As well, a tutor was assigned to me, she was very nice and answered all my questions.

Resources were available at hand and the instructors always responded when you needed clarification and always responded honestly which was always helpful.
the Bridge Education system is fast and easy to access then you need to continue with the classes on the go.

It was an amazing course. Tutors were very professional and helpful. In general I liked it a lot. It was a bit long and takes a lot of time to finish it.

I got so much good feedback from my tutors. The course work was easy to understand.

Outstanding curriculum. For both the IDELT and the Business English courses. The entire experience was professional and the other students were of high caliber. Difficult enough to be challenging, but not frustrating. I highly recommend them both.
The mentors were knowledgeable pros and always available for assistance or questions.

It was a great experience because the material was well presented, there were a lot of useful diagrams, great interaction and feedback from my tutor, Leah, when needed, the key points to reflect on during my lesson prep, and all were done online. I am super happy and highly recommend it.

I really wanted to give it four-and-a-half stars, but that wasn’t an option, so I rounded up to five.
Is Bridge legit?
There are a lot of TEFL certificate scams out there, so I was suspicious of just about everything. Fortunately, it was easy to verify that yes, Bridge is legit. Bridge claims to be accredited by ACCET, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A quick check of ACCET's website and a quick search of the Department of Education website showed me that yes, Bridge is accredited and yes, the accrediting agency has been checked and meets U.S. government standards.
Signup Process
The signup process was pretty easy, and about what you would expect. No surprises there.
I couldn't find any information on what methods of payment are available to people living outside of the U.S. I sent them an email and got a quick reply. If you are living overseas, you can pay via PayPal or credit card. I was in Japan at the time, and paid with my Japanese Visa card without any problems.
When I first signed up for the course, the website would only show the prices in the local currency of the country it was being viewed from. It would not show me the price in US dollars. I was a little confused by this, so I asked them, “Does this mean that I can pay directly in Japanese yen?” I got a quick reply to this question too. The actual payment is in U.S. dollars. Your credit card will do the conversion for you and charge you in your local currency.
I submitted a request for them to clarify this on the website, and when I looked today, the website shows the real price for each course in dollars, big and bold, with the price in yen in smaller print below it. So Bridge is pretty good about responding to customer requests, which is nice.
The Course
At the beginning, they will assign you a personal tutor, who will grade your homework assignments and answer any questions that you have. My tutor was very friendly and helpful, and gave good suggestions and advice. Your tutor can be anywhere in the world, so due to the time difference, it might take a day or so to hear back from them, but they usually respond within 24 hours.
When I took the course in June-September 2023, the course consisted of five modules: Basic Certificate, Educator Certificate, Business English, Young Learners, and Grammar Advisor. But now, from the information on the website, it looks like the Basic Certificate and Educator Certificate modules have been merged into a Core Teacher Training module. All modules have multiple-choice quizzes at the end of each section.
Like most other TEFL certificate courses, this one is almost entirely focused on teaching adults, with just one short section on teaching children. If you will be teaching mostly kids’ classes, you will probably want to supplement this with a full-length course on teaching young learners.
The Basic and Educator Certificate modules have a total of 16 writing assignments, in which you have to plan classroom activities and describe them in detail, make lesson plans covering various topics, and describe what you would do if certain situations come up. These assignments are very useful, because they force you to imagine yourself as a teacher in real-world situations, and to think step-by-step about what you would do in each situation. The plans and activities that you create in this course are ones that you can actually use in a real classroom, and most of them can be easily modified to use with other topics and classroom settings.
The Business English module is short and doesn’t go into a lot of detail, but it gives you a good introduction to the kinds of lessons that companies might require for their workers, and provides a good foundation for further study for those who are interested.
The Young Learners module is also a short one. It feels a little incomplete, as if it was taken from the beginning of a longer course, rather than being designed as a self-contained module. About half of it is devoted to theory about stages of mental development. I think the theoretical part would be better as an introduction to a full-length course on teaching young learners, while a short module like this should focus more on quick practical tips and advice. The second half of the module was more useful, giving a specific example of a kindegarten lesson.
The Grammar advisor was pretty interesting, and made me notice things about English grammar which, as a native speaker, I had never thought of before. It gives some good insights into things that your students might find difficult or confusing, and it helps you to see things from a non-native point of view.
In conclusion, Bridge is a well-known company with a good reputation. The 120-hour Master Certificate is a good, quality course which will go a long way toward preparing you for teaching English.

Ms Terry, my personal tutor, made my experience great because she was there to assist with anything that I had questions about. She was very knowledgeable and responded promptly. Also, the lessons are very informative and gave me a plethora of knowledge that I feel will be very useful during my journey with TEFL. It was a bit much when there was two assignments at the end of some lessons. I like how the tests were set up. Overall, Bridge has built a curriculum that I am satisfied with and I feel like I couldn't have chosen a better school to receive my TEFL certification.

Overall, not bad but only an OK experience. The platform is fine and easy enough to navigate. Though not a whole lot different than reading the material from a text. Most of the training is in text format. The tutor was helpful but not always helpful with what I thought they might be able to help with. I got the impression that they were not looking at my work as I was submitting it. If so, then they would not be able to help me in my development or steer me in a better direction.

The course was very organized and well-structured. However, it was challenging because it involved a lot of reading and writing. So, as a result, the student has to be very committed to finishing the course on time. Overall, I was glad I took this course.

I had an excellent experience with the 150-hr IDELT Online course. I had already earned a degree in TESOL several years ago, so I wasn't sure if it would feel like I was taking a step backwards, but this course turned out to be a helpful way to connect what I learned in my undergraduate education to what I experienced the past few years teaching. My professor was quite knowledgeable in the field, and she provided plenty of good feedback for all of the students in our class.

Well I would like to receive more feedback from a professional for example in the blogs activities I really don´t find them too constructive since there is no interaction among other students nor feedback so It seems a little pointless for me.

I have just completed Advanced Methods of Teaching English Online course and had a very positive experience with BridgeTEFL. The course structure was great, it was easy to follow, my tutor was very supportive and I learnt a lot from her feedbacks too. Highly recommended!
