The exams are only about what you've studied in the course, and you have one chance to take the exam over if you feel you can do better.
I've never been disappointed with the courses I have taken from Bridge and highly recommend them for anyone seeking to better their teaching skills. I'm grateful.

Bridge course experience
I recently finished the Teaching English to Young Learners course.The material was ok but still informative. The quizzes in each unit I didn't find too challenging. What was really frustrating was when after I had answered all the questions at every end of unit test I would get an error trying to submit. I had to answer all 20 questions all over again! When I finished the course I went to the page where you enter your certificate number to download the certificate. It says it couldn't find my certificate number. I had to email support to get the certificate. From this experience I probably won't take another Bridge course.

The 60-hour Foundations in Online…
The 60-hour Foundations in Online Teaching is a joke. One of the five units tells you what kind of online jobs exist. The overwhelming majority of the course is common sense and the exact same material from the Basic and Educator courses with the word "online" thrown in here and there. The section on ESL pedagogy alludes to the work of contemporary theorists, but who they they get out as one of three examples of major figures? B.F. Skinner . . . the psychiatrist who's most well-known for unethical experiments and his proximity to eugenics. It's like they used a Google search instead of doing any research into linguistics. If you don't know what a word processor is, don't realize that you need a webcam and fast internet to teach online, and think listing all the programs you know is a productive assignment rather than busy work for the sake of having homework, this is the course for you! If you have any background in teaching, have taken their other courses, and are tech savvy enough to operate Zoom, don't waste your money

Great Micro-Credentials
The micro-credential "Teaching English Pronunciation" is definitely a great option.
The IDELT is great if you want to read a large textbook about the theory of teaching and interact with a cohort which is doing the same.

I would've given 5 star if the certificate was more appealing whenever it's printed. The online experience is excellent, the grading system, and the time the teachers take to view your work, are benevolent factors.

Do not get it, the certificate is not useful at all in education. It is not a master's degree and it cannot be even used as credits for endorsement. Waste of time and money.

Regarding college credit: the 120-Hour Master Certificate has been evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE CREDIT®) and is recommended for up to 9 undergraduate-level credits, but acceptance of ACE credit recommendations is ultimately determined by each college or university (and may not apply toward teacher licensure/endorsement requirements).
We’d genuinely like to understand what credential or endorsement you were hoping to apply this toward and help clarify what options may be available. You can also access your transcript and digital credential through the ACE Transcript Service, which incorporates badges issued via Credly.
