Hi Candice! Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you felt supported throughout your online course. Our tutors are dedicated to providing guidance whenever it's needed, and it's wonderful to know their help made a difference for you. Wishing you all the best on your TEFL journey!
Lesson planning and grading
Required and live graded lesson planning makes this course a win for new teachers with no experience. You finish your certificate with some level of real understanding of what you’re going to be doing as a teacher. I discussed lots of questions with my grader who was helpful not only with assignments, but also cultural advice about how to teach English in a foreign country.

Our goal is to ensure new teachers feel supported and confident, so it's fantastic to know your grader not only guided you academically but also offered helpful cultural insights. Wishing you all the best as you begin your teaching journey abroad!

THIS is a Certificate?
Certificates are meant to enhance the qualifications of the recipients as well as promote the cachet of the granting institutuion. You should be able to see them in the background hanging on the wall if the recipient is delivering a webinar or teaching a lesson.
You couldn't even read the Bridge certificate because the fonts are so small. You wouldn't want to frame it and hang it because the design is so flawed. It will go in a file folder never to be seen again.
So disappointing was this certificate experience that I called and spoke to someone at Bridge about it. Bridge is often a one-way street; rarely have they responded to phone messages or email inquiries. As such, they come across suspiciously like a diploma mill.
During the sebveral months I worked on theis course there was a message on many lesson units saying they were having difficulty furnishing some of the materials and they were working on a fix. It never got fixed and may still be there.
The final project, a surprise for sure, uses a PDF template that must be enabled for editing to complete in M'soft Word with a limited subset of editing options making it a very awkward format to work in.
The rep I finally spoke to was receptive and courteous but I had to call them, they didn't call me. Bridge comes off to me as a lonely electronic, unmonitored outpost, a castle surrounded by a moat with the drawbridge drawn up.

Dear Jerry,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear that your experience with Bridge didn’t meet your expectations—particularly regarding the certificate design, communication challenges, and course materials.
While I understand you weren’t satisfied with the certificate design, I’d like to assure you that it includes features intended to highlight our students continued learning and ensure authenticity. Your feedback has been shared with our team, and for future reference, a preview of the certificate is available on our website here:
https://bridge.edu/tefl/about-the-certificate
Regarding communication, I looked into your case and found that your most recent call was returned the next business day. Aside from that, our records show your last call or voicemail was in May 2024, which received a response via email.
For future, we recommend using our Support Centre:
https://bridge-edu.my.site.com/support/s/contactsupport
You can typically expect a reply by the next business day and our contact number is also available on the same page.
We also appreciate your comments about accessing course materials and the project template.
I'm glad to hear your recent phone interaction with our team last Friday was more positive. During that call—and in our follow-up email that same day—I offered a free micro-credential course as a gesture of goodwill. If you’d like to redeem that offer or have any further questions, simply reply to our email and we’ll be happy to assist you further.
Thank you again for your feedback!

Worth the while
Although I started this course as a way to stay busy, I became more attracted to the potential lifestyle, especially for someone like me so enjoys travelling and exploring. There are many accessible and various resources for students, and I was able to improve the aspects of English that I never mastered (as well as some mistakes I’ve been consistently making that I never knew about).

I enjoyed the topics covered in the course, including all the sections and subtopics—they were interesting and well-structured. However, I found that most of the material involved a lot of reading, and I would have preferred more videos or interactive content. The videos provided felt outdated and could be improved with more engaging, modern resources. Additionally, I didn’t like that students don’t have ongoing access to the platform to review the material at any time.

Dear Ariana, Congratulations on completing your 120-Hour Master TEFL/TESOL course. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the topics and structure of the course. Thanks for your constructive feedback on the quantity of reading and your suggestion for more and updated videos, I have passed this to our Academic team to review. You can download any course content that you wish to keep before the end of your course and we can add an additional 2 weeks access in the future at any point if you need access to the materials. I will also send you an email separately to follow up on your feedback. Thanks again!
Wonderful Education Group
The training modules are laid out very well, great video examples and I appreciate the discussion boards since I am just starting out learning to teach ESL. The advisors are helpful with the feedback and I feel that I have a great foundation and plenty of resources to move forward with teaching.
