Closed by account out of the blue with no reason why!

I had this card for over 10 years and used it for nothing more than paying bills. One day they canceled the account out of the blue and no one in their entire system could tell me why. I spoke with over 5 different people, supervisors, “dedicated teams” and still no answer. The best information I got was that some mysterious department flagged the account for suspicious usage, but I was told that I couldn’t know the reason and couldn’t contact that department. Every person you talk to is more clueless than the last, and everyone speaks broken English, up to and including the supervisors.

Trust me here and AVOID this company and card like the plague. There is no reason why my account should have been closed as I didn’t even use the card or account other than for paying bills and then one day when my bills started getting sent back I found out the account was closed. I had to ask several times to even get them to send me the remaining balance on the account. You would think that if they closed the account this would be a standard procedure, but no.

What a joke of a company.

Thieves... run away

They are thieves. They just charged me a 25% commission for withdrawing cash from their ATM in Dublin. I hate them. A real rip-off. Let them rot.

Brinks Prepaid Mastercard - I just had the most Bizzare experience…

I just had the most Bizzare experience with BRINK’S customer service. I was supposed to receive a reward of $15 after purchasing $49 from Chewy.com in August. This was an August, 2023 promotion that was offered through the card.
I have yet to receive the $15. I’ve emailed twice and received absolute nonsense answers in return! I was told to contact Chewy myself and find out about the reward!
I finally took the time to call Brinks and after sitting on hold and dealing with a CS person that talked and talked in a very high pitched accent, I was finally transferred to the “All Access” department (whatever that is!)
The All Access CS person did some research into my account but only offered as a solution how much I’d spent at Chewy.com on August 31 - like I didn’t know - and that I needed to contact Chewy and ask about this reward. I told her it was up to them to do this because they offered the reward! She had no contact phone number or name to offer me or any solution at all!
I said some choice words before I hung up and then called Chewy. The CS person I talked to was as confused by all this as I was! She said that they are the Bank and THEY offered this reward! And they should do the research on this or pay me as promised!
I was left with a promise of a call from Chewy about this matter. I had more help from Chewy than from Brinks!
I’m not sure I want my money in a bank that can’t handle simple problems that are bank generated!

Horrible service

Horrible service! This company cashed my stimulus check but never gave it to me! I have been dealing with this for months, with no help from customer service. Total shame! Do not involve yourself, when something goes wrong it will be your problem with zero help or guidance from them, after they take your money.
