Horrible experience. Would never buy here again.
No way of contacting them by e-mail (which is against the law). The phone number is hard to reach.
Customer service just hung up on me after I complained about their poor customer service.

They also don't clearly label items that are out of stock (they label them as "available to order"), consciously misleading their customers. For one of my parcels, they sent an e-mail with "Your recent order on Bristol Cameras has now been dispatched." and another e-mail where they mentioned at the end of the e-mail that I need to call them to set up a delivery. Of course, I missed it and waited for a week.
What a horrible way to deal with your customers.

It's the worst company I have ever ordered from.

Excellent service. Bought a Cannon hood £10 cheaper then most for original product. Took two days to arrive via Royal Mail

I ordered my goods on Sunday and had a confirmation email the same day. On the Monday I was told the goods had been dispatched and on Wednesday they arrived as requested. You can not ask for better service than that.

Faultless Transaction.
I ordered a new Panasonic VXF1 Camcorder online on Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered, well packaged today (Friday) first thing in the morning!
It is an excellent price (£60+ cheaper than anywhere else on the net).
I had tried to call the shop and the online store number but it was just ringing out at first but when it was answered the chap explained that he was with customers. I'd checked the feedback and it concerned me because it was variable but honestly I am really impressed.
I've never purchased from this shop before but I would certainly recommend them. It is a small business and it is important to give them a chance to compete. They beat Amazon hands down!

Excellent Service
Ordered a camera on Monday 2nd September 2024, the item arrived at 11am Thursday 5th. The package was secure with the camera wrapped in bubble and 8foam. The condition of the camera (second hand) was as described on the website. I am not a great fan of online shopping due to many shoddy experiences. Wouldn't hesitate to order online from Bristol Cameras in the future.

I always use Bristol Cameras for film related purchases. They have the best prices of anywhere online. Shipping is a tad higher than others but i dont really know what work goes into that particular side of things. Overall great prices, fast delivery and well packaged. Would definitely recommend.

Was looking for a specific charger that was out of stock everywhere bristol cameras had it in stock at a great price order placed with ease kept updated every step of the way and arrived well within the time scale given very pleased with the purchase will definitely be adding this store to my favourites for my photography need

Ordered a few times from Bristol Cameras. Always super fast delivery, genuine OEM parts (unlike my experience with some online retailers), and very friendly if you need to speak to them. Choice is really excellent too, only place I could get a particular Pentax focus screen I had been after.

Must visit their shop in person sometime!

Ordered and paid for an 'in-stock' item to take on hols with me. Advised the following day that not only was item not in stock, but not even in the UK yet !
From other reviews this does not look to be uncommon with this company.

Excellent service and value for money. Please don't make the mistake I did and not read their emails properly. They have to jump through hoops to adhere to posting guidelines, so their emails will inform you how they are posting your goods. I contacted them and spoke to a very polite gentleman, who informed me what was happening. The fact that 2 parcels were posted on the same day, but were delivered on different days, panicked me, but if I had read their emails properly and checked the tracking numbers, all would have been revealed.

I ordered a W126s Dummy Battery to USB C cable. Am very pleased with the quality, as similar products on Amazon looked rather flimsy and cheaply made. I bought this so I can power my camera, a Fuji X-T2, using an NP-F battery instead of a Mini V-Mount battery, which is substantially more expensive. I can also power my camera via a regular power bank that is rated for Power Delivery from the USB C outlet, making this a very versatile product indeed.
