Lovely family trip

Visited with young children on a busy day. Yet lady at till ensured I had all the information, was polite and welcoming and not rushing. Lovely small playground to entertain young ones whilst enjoying a coffee and plenty of varying statues to meet a varied range of interests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Local Venue

I’ve been going to Ironworks Oswestry for years, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and they genuinely support the community. They were even kind enough to donate tickets to our fundraiser, which meant a lot. Highly recommend!

Fascinating.

Fascinating.

Had a lovely day out at the British Ironworks centre. Some amazing exhibits! You really must go! Such an array of goods in the shop, something for everyone. The prices were good too, a pound or two upwards. Ask at the counter for the days offers, well worth a look. The cafe is something else. Some quiet booths around the side. Delicious food, even the sandwiches were great. Definitely worth a visit for the fabulous cakes. Need a doggy bag for afternoon tea as there is masses.

Booked for an afternoon tea

Booked for an afternoon tea. Nice & pleasant place to visit. Boxes were provided to take left overs home as we could not finish all the food. Did some Christmas shopping in the process. It was a very cold day so will have to revisit in the summer season. Staff were very helpful & pleasant. Special mention to Nick.
Highly recommended for adults & children alike

A disappointing visit

We are local and have visited a few times before. Every time we go there are different 'rules' Today we paid £6 for the privilege of shopping and eating in the cafe. It makes no sense not to have a different ticket for the sculpture park which I am sure is worth £6. The whole of one area is now taken over by the cafe reducing the stock and resulting in everything being quite crammed. I did find an item to buy and after a staff member locating it, she told me it had been sent to the till, it hadn't! We then went for a light lunch, it was £11.25 for soup because it is served with bread and a cheese scone (which we didn't want but there was no option to reduce to only soup) Then there is the parking debacle whereby you are asked to display a ticket on your exit with threats of cameras and fines. This simply cannot be true as there is no connection between the ticket and your registration number, no cameras are visible and your registration number is never taken. It is just one more weird aspect of this place along with being given a wristband to go shopping. My advice is that this is a good place to visit the sculpture park but for shopping/cafe I am not sure I would recommend.
