When considering a destination for a school trip I would highly recommend this place, the British Ironworks showcase perfectly how one person trash is another person's treasure. The artistry and talent has inspired our class to think about creating there own recycled material art work. Fantastic immersive sculpture experience for the children.

Class Trip

What a fantastic place to visit, I came to see if it would be a suitable for a class trip for key stage 2 children and found a fab location with plenty of outdoor space and packed full of inspirational works of art, plenty to get their imaginations firing and the cafe's great too! Can't wait to take my class for a visit next term!

I recently ordered Garden Hare Silhouettes

I recently ordered 3 hare silhouettes from the online store. I compared the price of the items with similar ones online, the BIC ones were the lowest price, larger than anywhere else and very good quality Delivery was on the date / time stated and good with good communication from BIC. Overall a very good shopping experience and I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.

I ordered a porch light on line was told that it would take some 6/7 weeks for delivery. That was OK I was happy to wait. The lamp was delivered about 6 week later. I took it out of the packing (which was very well done) and noticed that there was a small nut missing from the top of the lamp and in the plastic bag was a nut and washer that was from another part of the lamp. I sent an email but after 4 days no reply. Telephoned for 3 days never got to speak to anyone, eventually I did and he said he would send the nut in fact 2 with a washer. As yet this has not arrived but may come Monday as it was Friday when I eventually got to speak to a person. They have great web page but very poor client help line and why did it take so long to get to speak to a real person? The lamp is very nice and been worth the wait but service 0 points.

A good place to visit. Great Skill in sculptures

A good place to visit. The skill in making some of the sculptures is amazing and I'm assuming they're all made by craftsmen there ?
The cafe and shop are good but not cheap..what is today though.
Some sculptures have an anti war theme which is commendable but there was a tank
on a raised area with an Israel Star Of David attached to the rear with what looked like a lone Palestinian Flag on a Pole just in front.
Was this done to give a subliminal anti war message or to suggest the strength of Israel and the weakness of the Palestinians, because the latter is what it suggested to me. Am I alone in thinking this is the intention ?
Maybe the Ironworks Centre should rethink this particular display or provide some balance and create a sculpture(s) that caused this conflict in the first place, and we know why it started. Or would that upset too many people ?
I'm anti war but if I were a Jewish visitor it would upset me. Why not a Russian Tank with. Ukrainian Flag ?

Great day. Pricing needs investigating.

The models and figures are amazing and a great place to visit.
Easy to get around even for disabled visitors.
Would have given 5 star except for misleading information on pricing. On Saturday it is still same price for disabled people even though it does not say this when booking and carer has to pay full price.

Amazing Sculptures!!

The sculptures are so well made and definitely look like their real counterpart. The imagination, skill and artwork that goes into each piece is amazing. So proud to have this venue in the vicinity. Every year it gets bigger and busier. The best tourist attraction in N.Shropshire by far.
