Where to start!!! Rubbish service!

Where to start! Bin men makes such a mess every Friday when they collect the rubbish. Recycling bits that falls out of the recycling boxes they just leave laying around on the pavements. The food bin never really get fully emptied, I put a bag in mine and they can't even be bothered to remove the bag when collectig the food waste. So the bins are minging and need to keep washing it out even though I am using a binliner.
I bought a £40 receyling bin to keep the foxes out, lasted one collection and they ripped the lid right off. Broken the bin and they are taking no responsibilities replacing it, telling me I am not allowed to use my own bin but how many other people in our street is using different bins! They want to replaced it with a black wheelie bin that is not even for receyling at all!! Had to chase them for god knows how many weeks!Pale of poop if you ask me. Pay so much council tax and the service is rubbish!
"I have been looking into this issue for a while now – investigating and speaking with my colleagues about it.The only solutions for you it will be to replace your damaged bin with the boxes, as they are approved by the Bromley council for recycling. We cannot collect from the wheeled bins for a number of reasons including that this makes service inefficient. With previous experience showing that the occasional wheeled bin led to collections difficulties for some, and the potential issues of the damage to these privately owned bins( like in your example).
I can arrange for the new boxes to be delivered to you by the end of this week but I cannot replace your privately bought bin because it wasn’t authorised for the recycling usage at the first place."
- Stick your bins, I want my £40 bin replaced!!!!!!

Refuse collection a racket!

Refuse collection seems to be a scam. Often do not collect waste, leaving bins untouched. If you are lucky enough to get your bin emptied, then the rubbish goes everywhere.

Why engage people with no brains?

When is a Bank Holiday not a Bank Holiday?
Car parked in car park on Saturday 26th December. Signage states 'BANK HOLIDAYS FREE'. Parking Charge Notice applied to car with recorded contravention shown as 'required charge not paid'.
BUT IT IS FREE....and the signage states this.
What moron thought it would be funny to do this, and put people through distress, inconvenience and considerable effort, at Christmas.
This should be cancelled immediately as it is such a complete and utter farce, and makes Bromley Council appear totally incompetent. However, how long will it take Bromley Council to correct this?
STILL NOTHING - WHAT A SURPRISE.
Fraud by false representation is when someone dishonestly makes an untrue or misleading representation with the intention of making a gain for themselves OR causing loss to another.
The car park machines would not accept payment, the telephone number shown for payments would not connect, and the ticket machine showed 'BANK HOLIDAYS FREE'.
It was impossible to pay on Boxing Day, and as this was a Bank Holiday, that was no surprise...as quite simply, no payment was due.
One might reasonably assume the Councils enforcement officers would have known this. It absolutely beggars belief that knowing the above, they still issued Penalty Charge Notices to a number of the cars parked when no payment was either required, nor even possible!
It does not seem too difficult to resolve this one........ over to Bromley Council.

If I could give them -100 stars I…

If I could give them -100 stars I would. Reported a neighbour to Bromley Planning who built without Planning Permission 2 bedroom dwelling in garden for people. We as neighbours treated like criminals with no rights and they rewarded for their deception and allowed to keep and live in this! Don’t bother reporting anything and just build what you like without planning permission is the message just like these individuals did

Poor street clean management

I've been having issues with my refuse collection & recycling & been reporting it on a weekly basis to the relevant section & management Jim Cowen who has done nothing.

In fact he has allowed it to get so bad that rotting food is being left outside my home for weeks attracting rodents & other vermin. The call center can see I'm being targeted & single handedly ignoring call back requests & emails from his own call center staff.

I have lived at the same property for 20 years. So it is nothing on our part we've also had other management round to view & there's no problem on my part.

Because I've been complaining & contacted the ombudsman management have intentionally allowed this to continue
