Amazing experience glamping, camping and fishing.
We had a fantastic two-night, three-day stay at Brooke Meadow Campsite in the Woodpecker Lodge, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
The lodge was amazing, with beautiful, high-quality finishes throughout the cabin. Everything was clean, comfortable and finished to a really high standard, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into the site.
The facilities were all exceptionally clean and well maintained. We also really enjoyed the curry and pizza nights, which are available through an external catering service — a great addition and something a little different!
A special mention has to go to Claire, the owner, who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Her hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable.
The kids absolutely loved the fishing too, which gave them plenty to keep them entertained during our stay.
We actually stayed here previously back in 2019, and it was wonderful to return and see how much the site has evolved. It has been transformed into something really special, while still retaining its lovely atmosphere.
We had a brilliant time and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
