Getting a refund shouldn't take weeks!

Trying to get my money back was like pulling teeth. The customer support team gave me the runaround, offering vague responses instead of actual solutions. I had to follow up repeatedly, and every time, they acted like it was the first time they were hearing about my issue.

Been more than a month of waiting and I'm exhausted!

I got only paid 50 percent when all tickets were sold out! Have been trying to get a hold of management because their staff was ridiculously useless to talk to! Someone should do something about this because it's been more than a month of waiting and I'm exhausted!

The worst ticketing company I've ever dealt.

Never purchasing anyhting from the again. It appears that this company doesn't care about who is selling tickets via them. The even organizer canceled the event and took all the money without issuing a refund. Brown Paper Tickets refuses that it carries any responsibility. I was very dissatisfied with their complete lack of communication.

Charged twice

Charged twice. They’ve taken the payment twice and there’s nobody to contact about this. I really wish the school would use a different company. I have so many problems with this company - I go to my account and it says I have no tickets even though I have email confirmation of the tickets. Awful company. Avoid if there is an alternative!

Awful Customer Service and Crappy Experience with Brown Paper Tickets

I had the most awful experience with Brown Paper Tickets. The customer service was beyond terrible, and they completely ignored any issues. I tried reaching out multiple times to resolve my problem, but they were slow to respond and didn't even bother to help. It was a crappy system, and I felt totally ignored and ripped off. It's honestly shameful how they treat their customers. I will never use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Absolute Nightmare of Unqualified and Irritating Service!

My dissatisfaction with Brown Paper Tickets stemmed from their irritationg lack of professionalism. Their staff seemed utterly unqualified to handle basic customer service, let alon the complexities of event management. Every question I had was met with their vague answers or complete silence as if they didn't know their platform. It felt like pulling teeth just to get a straight response, and every interaction left me more frustrated than the last. For a company supposedly in the business of helping events succeed, they sure excelled at making the process an absolute nightmare.

A total scam!

Brown Paper Tickets is a total scam! I bought some tickets through them, but had to cancel because of a sudden change of plans, so I requested for a refund. They e-mailed me saying that I should have my refund processed within 5-10 business days, but even after an entire month I still haven't gotten my money back!

A scam company with untrustworthy leadership

Brown Paper Tickers is a scam company with untrustworthy leadership. I've had an extremely horrible experience dealing with this company as it still has not paid me what it owes me. Reaching out to its customer service is futile because its representatives are rarely helpful. I just make peace with the fact that I don't have to deal with this company anymore.

Pick BPT if not getting your donor's $ after 2 years is acceptable

BPT is still holding onto $34,318 from our event from March of 2023. Zero customer service access options. No phone call options, only auto-generated email responses. Multiple "Yay us, we promise to pay you" public relations type notifications and each deadline passes with nothing. Imagine the impact on YOUR small nonprofit if you gamble with this company's ethics.

AVOID this company's horrible service

AVOID this company's horrible service! This company deceives its clients and customers, and it's almost impossible to reach out to its customer service. Brown Paper Tickets owes countless people a lot of money, yet it doesn't honor the agreements it has with its clients and customers. STAY AWAY from this horrible company.

Children’s Musical Theatre Owner

We were new business owners in 2020 and had 3 shows that brown paper tickets never paid us for to this day (Oct 9, 2024). When you call, they don’t take calls, there is no one to talk to about this. They sent a hopeful message 6 months ago (2024) saying payment would be released to us in 10 days which never happened. We fortunately survived this devastating blow with putting in our own personal money in to keep the business going but the struggle was terrible.
I would never ever recommend this company. 4 years later and you still can’t get a human on the phone to get any information. If you use this company, do so at your own risk because they still owe money to people.
We are a children’s theatre and this company took our parents and families money and never paid us for it.
Stay away from this place
There are a lot of other good ticket companies.
If there was a way to give them a zero, I would

Absolutely awful service and customer representatives

Brown Paper Tickets has absolutely awful service and even worse customer service representatives. I encountered tons of problems when availing the service of this company. And when I tried reaching out to the customer service representatives, they were basically useless and unhelpful. They were also really rude and disrespectful toward me.

Scam company, evil management

Brown Paper Tickets is a scam company. The management here is evil and greedy, and this company basically just scams its clients by never paying us anything it owes. It's very difficult to reach out to the company's leadership, and the rare times that we're able to do so just proved to be a waste of time because the management doesn't resolve the issues. AVOID!

Extremely terrible customer service and aftersales service

Brown Paper Tickets has an extremely terrible customer service and aftersales service. I'm not sure why this company even has positive reviews because my experience here has been nothing but horrible. The customer service representative are useless and unable to solve the problems I encountered with their service, and the management is unwilling to communicate.

Awfully Slow Customer Service Team Might Avoid Your Emails.

Most people chose this company for the freebies. But I think it's not worth it. Customer service is available only via email, and they do a poor job. These terrible people might avoid your emails for weeks, and you will have to chase them. Even if you do that, there is no guarantee that these awful people with arrogant attitudes will respond with the help you need. It depends on their moods!

Horrible service and even more awful customer service

Brown Paper Tickets offers horrible service to its customers, but it offers even more awful customer service for those who reach out to them. This company and its management are so horrible that it even its employees sound like they hate being here. I don't recommend availing the services of this company unless you want to be annoyed and disappointed.

These Liars Will Hold Your Payments - Beware

These people are the worst. They helped us with a fundraiser event and then kept all the money themselves. Please avoid trusting these fake and evil people, or they will fool you, too. They lie blatantly and are quite shameless. We are taking legal action soon.
