Another great job done,I took my Kia Venga in for a new clutch to be fitted,great value and great service,took it in at 8.30am,and got a pnone call at 3.30pm,to say it was ready for collection,

Booked into MOT and dropped of car, no issues. Went to pick up around 11.40am on a Saturday, as I was brand new and never used these guys before I asked when it would be ready and they said about 30 minutes - Fine, I went home dropped of some stuff and headed back to get the car.

Having no idea these guys close at 12.30pm, given absolutely no warning or heads up to be back in time for then or even asked if I could hold on and wait when I was there at 11.40am.

I went back for around 1pm and was met with a fully closed garage with my car locked away for the rest of the weekend.

I needed the car that weekend, I ended up spending a large amount on transport.

My wife goes back to collect on Monday morning to be met with a barrage of abuse, utterly shocking customer service. The owner is clearly just a bully or believes his business can continue and he doesn't have to give a dam at all.

Just don't use them

Long standing garage which carries out excellent work and staff are always helpful.

Awful receptionist, not good for business at all. I called in for a quick job after Appleby Fair. Mechanics were very good as always but were given wrong job by receptionist. When corrected she said I was rude, not so. I went outside and the mechanics did the work perfectly as I had requested. Upon return to pay the receptionist said they did not have the part; was again very nasty and intimated she owned the company, saying 'I do not know if I want you back again'. She was abusive and bullying towards me. Her attitude towards customers is awful. The lady being served prior to me was also complaining about work carried out, she was told to go to another business nearby and 'did she want their number'? Then as I was leaving I was told to not come back unless I had a 'smile on my face'. If it were my business I would tell her to pack quicker than I could say Cersei Lannister. I will NOT be going back, with or without a smile on my face. I did notice she never had one at all. Another two customers lost.
