Buy from Budgetcues you won’t be disappointed

The staff at Budgetcues were top notch from start to finish. Very fast to respond after order was placed, workmanship on my Meucci Ultra Piston was superb. They kept me updated from the time they started on my new cue to the day it was shipped and when it would arrive. Thanks to the entire staff at Budgetcues for being #1 in the business. I will definitely be buying from them again.

absolutely horrible service ,first…

absolutely horrible service ,first order was cancelled without answering emails, decided to try one more time ( more fool me) waited one and a half months to receive the goods ,finally arrived damaged seller just wants to blame me and no mention whatsoever about replacing the pieces , going through PayPal for a refund. How did the shaft get damaged? It was ship inside the case. You should not accept a damaged package. If you received it damaged you must file a damage report immediately upon receipt with the carrier or they deny any claim we file here.

We are not allowed to check the package before signing for it in romania , i found the culprit it was the free metal tip tool included in the case, i specifically left that item not wanted as i was worried it may cause damage during shipping

Still our claim is denied unless you present the package with the Carrier and make a damage report. You need to make a damage report. The tip tool was placed in a far corner far from the shaft, the egg crate padding should have kept every thing in place, unless the package was hit with severe force as seen by the dents of the metal edging on the case and/or the package was opened and put back. Please make the report.

I am happy to make a claim with the carrier ,but in the meantime I want you to make this right, I patiently waited one and half months for my goods to arrive because of problems your end and now it feels like you are treating me like this is somehow my fault ,I did say the fact that the case was damaged was not the end of the world ,the tip tool was in the right hand top corner when it arrive but the shape of the dent is for sure the tip tool as it is the exact size ,I will send more pics tomorrow ,again I purchased from you in good faith and expect the good s to be fit for purpose not to have to try and repair it before its even used and do not want to be treated as though I am somehow to blame

No, I am not acting like you did something wrong, I am acting like you should know that you need to file a damage claim, which is customary. Do what you are supposed to do...so I can do what I am supposed to do

This customer was from Romania. He intentionally left out one of the messages in this email chain that was posted.

"We paid to insure your package and just the raw shipping cost is a lot to send another package, so we must collect the insurance that is due. That can't happen unless you report the damage. Please send us a copy of the report as soon as it is done. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by the damage, but it lies with the carrier."

If he had done what is customary, the product would have been returned to us free of charge., and of course we could have made things right with a full replacement!

His intention was that we "make it right" by simply refunding him his payment without having to return the goods. Our intention was to be sure he filed a damage report, so we could collect the insurance before sending out a replacement. Obviously, we could not make it right unless he filed the damage report. He was being unreasonable demanding we make it right beforehand. Paypal tried to get him also to comply, but was unsuccessful and closed his claim.

BudgetCues.com (AKA Budget Billiards) Horrible Customer Service

Budget Cues (AKA Budget Billiards) sent a different cue bag than the one I ordered, a cheaper one of course, then would not answer emails requesting help. On top of that, their voice number would not take a message even though the recording said it would. Worst customer experience I can imagine. And I should have never used Paypal which was no help whatsoever resolving the issue. In fact, I will never use budgetcues.com (Budget Billiards), or Paypal for online shopping again. I would suggest that you stick with larger vendors with active customer service channels, and credit cards with a dispute resolution process that is backed by a normal customer service team. If you chose Budget Cues, you'll get the Budget experience, and I wish you best of luck getting what you paid for.

It is hard to reply when one is unable to make contact with this reviewer. We wrote through Trust Pilot in attempt to address his complaint. We unsure who this is or if it is even a valid review. Yet, I do recall a single customer who did not buy from budgetcues.com, but on eBay and did eventually make contact through standard channels ... using their message system. He complained about the free hard case that we provided with his cue, that it was different than the one pictured (oval instead of round). We provide free returns on eBay. We explained that cases were in short supply throughout the US due to Covid and the case sent was in fact a more expensive case. In addition, we sent him a free tip tool in response to his complaint. Most vendors don't include a free "bag". Nice that he chose not to amend this review.

Great Customer Service, quick delivery

They didn't have the Lucasi I origially ordered, but notified me the very next morning and they were able to help me find a nicer cue for about the same price. It was delivered 3 days after I placed the order even with the Lucasi being out of stock. Very quick and reaponsive customer support. Will order from this company again and suggest to friends.
