Delivery is not ordered
I have ordered 3 items of total 7 quantities as below
1. Quick step laminate wood - 2 packs
2. Quick step Scotia - 2 items
3. Quick step Incizo profile - 3 items
In the package and delivery , They have packed the Scotia and Incizo profile in a single pack with total items of 4 items instead of 5 items .
but the label says simply says 3 of 3 items being delivered
Also the delivery person was not ready to wait until we verify the each item and quantity . Also he told that he just delivering of what being given to him. He does not aware of how many quantities are being inside.
When I contacted customer care they are hearing only the supplier confirmation that they have delivered as ordered but not hearing customer issues. The customer facing team does not ready to hear the actual issue they are just following the process and believe in their supplier .
Also after some time , They have asked me to raise a compliant through their website which I did.
In regards to complaints process there is no compliant number . So each time when I need to contact compliant team I have to explain the whole story .
There is NO SLA for compliants at all .There is no co-ordination between the customer service team and compliants handling team.
Please check all the terms and conditions with this company before booking an orders. Also more over there is much price difference between this company to competitors.

I left it over Christmas and new year and rang you and still no one knew what was going on, at the end of January you told me my tool was repaired and is on the way to my house, when the tool got here it was the wrong tool. Now your telling me the tool is water damaged, this is unacceptable since as had the tool no where near any liquids. Please write back and tell me how we are going to deal with the situation

totally unbelivable customer service
I placed and order online on 4th for 50meter armoured cable. on 6th I rang to find the delivery date and to my horror i was told the order was cancelled due to incorrect price. My order was accepted on line and money was debited from my credit card.So it becomes binding contract. I have not phone call or communications from the builders depot and I booked electrician to connect the cable.They have very shoddy customer service and when i argued the person hung up. They just rude and cowboys. Steer away from this retailer.

Totally disinterested in replacing completely faulty product
We ordered solid oak brushed oiled flooring - 25 sq m. The incorrect flooring was delivered. A few days later the correct flooring was re-delivered. Instructions indicate to wait at least 3 weeks before installing for atmospheric adaptation. The floor was installed 4 weeks after delivery. Within 2 months the slats started to warp, shrink and deform, leaving gaps of varying lengths all over the floor. We provided photographs. One of the staff Stephen Taylor insisted that we had installed this too soon and that we had installed the floor improperly stating that we had to use screws/nails. I have been installing this type of floor with glueing for 15 years; this has never ever been an issue. Screws and nails would have made no difference. The warpage of the slats was completely inconsistent and different throughout the surface area installed. The photographs we provided they said were inadequate proof and that at OUR expense we would have to pay THEM for an inspector to come out to verify that the product was defective.
Essentially they had no interest in taking responsibility for their poor quality product. In fact I noticed that they had removed this particular product from their website when I went to re-order it to make-good for my customer (who by the way has been having my team working at their home renovating over the last 2 years - all 4,000 sq ft of the home).
I purchased a different product from them to replace the floor at my own expense - this time engineered oak brushed oiled flooring - with the agreement of my clients in order to make good on the job for them.
Having now been to this trust pilot site and seen that more than half of their reviews are 1-star, I am surprised that they continue to deliver such poor customer service and are still in business. I have given this company at least one hundred thousand pounds of business over the last 15 years and this is going to change.

AVOID!
Ordered two doors, hinges and door handles. Doors came within two days. However, there was no communication from the company to say they were being delivered on the day they were and had to leave work to get home to accept the delivered. Utterly poor! Still waiting after two weeks for the hinges and door handles!!! Contacted via the web form a week ago, still no reply. Left a voice mail, still no reply. I will never use this company again!!! BEST TO AVOID!!!
Delivery man was terrible
The quality of products and the service from the people in the depot was actually pretty good, let down by the terrible delivery service. I'm currently 8 and a half months pregnant. I waited in for the delivery, and the man came to the door and informed me he couldn't bring anything inside, I said it would be difficult for me to carry it in myself (including 20kg bags of concrete and 6ft fence panels) and he just shrugged. He dumped it in the communal front garden of the block of flats I live in, watched as I attempted (and obviously failed) to lift a fence panel by myself, I was obviously really struggling with a huge bump and on the verge of tears, then just drove off. Appalling. On complaining to the depot, they were most apologetic, but it was a horrible experience by a lazy and rude man. I have had to leave it in the front garden and come into work so God knows if it'll still be there when I get home.
Excellent Experience
I have ordered many items (20+) for this company using the AAFES online mall over many years. They have never failed me in ensuring the products were on hand, what they described and most of all they have one of the fastest shipping times (packing and out the door) that I have ever dealt with from any company. I have had items shipped CONUS and Deployed and still got there very quickly and well packaged. They are just as quick and sometimes faster than Amazon. And finally they offer some of the best and/or competitive prices (once shipping included) on items out there and always seem to have certain things in clutch need times. So yes I do trust and will purchase from them for the foreseeable future. Thank you BuilderDepot.

I have ordered through Builder dept twice and found they have great service and excellent shipping. It is hard to get through on phone but other than that is works for me. PS they are also approved by AAFES

Refused to refund in full for website error
They acknowledged an error on the site where I bought their item, causing an overcharge. A few days later they would only promise half the amount that was due to the error after "reviewing" the case. How is this even legal? It's like a scam.

i totally agree with the above poster. susan hershkowitz is not any help and this company is a joke. i ordered 900' of 3/4" poly pipe and 3 couplers. the couplers and 100' of line showed up and every day for a week when i contacted the company i was told there was a fedex error but in fact the hose i was missing never shipped because it was never in stock. will they let me return the couplers i specifically bought to use with the 900' i ordered? not without a restocking fee and my paying the return shipping.have you ever heard of such ridiculous policies or practices? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY ENTIRELY
