I have used this company several times.They have always been able to deliver exactly what I wanted. They are professional, reliable and very good at problem solving. I have booked Gregory again for my next project.

First off, go through to a human being from the start. They were super helpful, especially since I don't live in the property to let them in. When things didn't go to plan (certain things we didn't have in the property that we thought we did), they went out of their way to help. We got the job booked in quickly and the rates were very reasonable. Thank you!

He arrived on time, came fully prepared with his own kit and ladder, and knew exactly what he was doing, yet stayed flexible and handled unexpected things brilliantly. The best I’ve had in my 18 years living in Battersea!

Simon proprietor of Wear and Tear handyman service was a god send.We had tried to get someone to repair kitchen unit door and fixed new curtain pole in bedroom for a month but noone wanted the job. I've used Building & Handyman on numerous occasions and I've always found the to resolve the issues we've needed fixing.

The team has worked on our Fulham property for over 5 years and have gone above and beyond to help us out, even with tight deadlines. They have the right people and skillsets and are professional to work with. Latterly they have managed work in the house when I have been 1000s of miles away and this has been a very seemless process.

Brilliant from start to finish. The job they did for me was a tricky one, not helped by limited access to my flat, but the team were fantastic. The main thing I like about Building and Handyman was the great communication from the project manager and the willingness to come up with solutions... all projects present unknowns and challenges, but this team really figure it out and take the stress away!

The fact that he was able to organise, sometimes at short notice, top professionals (such as Danny and Jack) to do any kind of work required – painting, electricals, plumbing, etc. – made the process very smooth and easy in both cases. Very highly recommended 🙂

We’ve used B&H several times for bigger and smaller work. We have found a huge discrepancy in the service and work provided - you never know who or what you’re going to get. We have found the scoping for bigger works can be really wide of the mark and the office very jumpy and defensive when you raise concerns or things go wrong. Some of the work has been dreadful and had to be redone. Some has been ok. Most recently we had an ‘electrician’ come out to install something simple - he had to watch YouTube and then phone a friend to learn how to do it and took ages, caused cosmetic damage and left a mess, and then charged for all the ‘learning time’. Even he was embarrassed about charging for it. We won’t use them again and would rather cut out the middleman here.

The contractor was severely late with no update or courtesy call to advise of the delay. I had to call the office to find out his whereabouts - poor service when people do not turn up when they say they will, especially when you have your own day and work to manage around. He turned up 90 mins late and did not have the part needed to fix the window, which I had already emailed about and provided a photo of the part needed. The contractor then spent 2 hours to source the part and spent the best part of 15 mins to install the part and charged me for the two hours, which could have been avoided.

I've used Building & Handyman several years for various projects: flat renovation, flooring, carpentry work, internal/external painting, electrical, plumbing, boiler issues, installing washing machine and any handyman bits & pieces of repair and fixing work. A great team; always professional, pleasant, quick to respond and get the work completed. Fairly good average price too. Highly recommend, after 6 years of using them.

Unfortunately, we have had a very bad experience with this company. After reaching out to them less than a year after they installed our bath and bath taps to notify a creaking noise from the bath and the fact that the shower crank was falling off without being used, they simply said they couldn't help us because they had no more record of our invoice or parts bought due to a system change at their end. We have felt let down by the quality of the job and subsequent dealings for what should have been a very easy and straight forward customer care issue. Having expressed my frustration to their lack of cooperation, I was then told to leave them alone. Highly recommend avoiding their services.

A pathetic and wholly incorrect response. The "plumber" (sic) in question was obviously clueless as to what the problems actually were. There was no way I was going to permit a clearly incompetent handyman back into my home. Instead, I called out arguably London's best known plumbers. They diagnosed a major series of problems which took several hours to fix at a cost of over £600. After I had posted my negative review, Building & Handyman had the effrontery to accuse me of so doing as a result of my depressed and "unstable" state of mind. They might be capable of replacing a light bulb, but I wouldn't trust them to do anything more complicated than that.
