Have been purchasing protein powder from Bulk Nutrients for a few years now. I know it's a great product and good value. Great to know I'm supporting a small business in Tasmania also.
So happy I purchased through Bulk Nutrients as I prefer to support small businesses. I put my order in on Sunday and it's already been delivered to Sunshine Coast,Qld. Well packaged and tastes better than the previous powder I've purchased elsewhere and for a great price.
Absolutely love Bulk Nutrients. Great flavours, clean ingredients, fast delivery, and unbeatable value. Everything I’ve tried has been high quality and easy to fit into my nutrition plan. Easily one of the best supplement companies in Australia.
I bought 3 kg of brown rice protein powder (chocolate flavour), and I was very disappointed. It has to be the worst-tasting powder I have bought in the past 12 years. It smells like a dirty drain, and the aftertaste made me nauseous.
I can’t believe someone approved this product for human consumption, let alone selling it online. I wanted to return the three bags, but they wouldn’t reimburse me, and the postage was over $20, so I threw it away.
Don’t buy this product.

The new order system was hopeless it just took me round and round in a circle.
I’ve ended up ordering as a guest much less complicated.

I’m leaving this review after a series of really disappointing experiences with Bulk Nutrients that have completely destroyed my trust in the company.
My most recent issue was with Order #5532697, placed on 4 February 2026. The order simply never arrived. I waited for around 30 days with no delivery and, more importantly, no proactive communication from Bulk Nutrients at all. There were no emails to say the order was delayed, no explanation of what had gone wrong, and no apology. I was left in the dark despite having paid in full.
In the end, I only got a refund because I contacted them myself. Until I took the time to reach out, there was no sign that anyone at Bulk Nutrients had noticed or cared that my order had not been delivered. There was no automatic remedy, no proactive checking of delayed orders, nothing. From a customer point of view, that feels like: “We’ll only do something if the customer chases us.”
To make it worse, the only thing offered was a straight refund of the order. There was no compensation at all for the inconvenience, the long delay, or the time I spent trying to resolve their mistake. No gesture of goodwill, no credit, no discount, nothing. Given how long I waited with no communication, that’s incredibly poor customer service.
What really bothers me is that this wasn’t my first bad experience. Before this order, I had placed an order for Sample Packs and one of the sample packs arrived damaged and opened. When I contacted customer service about that, again nothing was offered – no replacement, no store credit, no real ownership of the issue. That should have been a warning sign, but I decided to give them another chance. After what happened with Order #5532697, I regret that decision.
The contrast between Bulk Nutrients’ marketing and their actual customer care is huge. They are very good at:
Sending regular marketing emails and promotions.
Encouraging customers to place new orders and spend more money.
But when it comes to basic customer service after they’ve taken your payment, my experience has been the exact opposite:
No monitoring of overdue or undelivered orders.
No proactive communication when something clearly goes wrong.
No meaningful attempt to keep the customer happy when they have clearly been let down.
It genuinely feels like, once they have your money, the urgency disappears and the focus is entirely on getting the next sale, not on looking after existing customers.
Before these issues, I was prepared to become a repeat customer. I actually liked some of their product ideas and wanted to keep ordering. Now, I honestly do not feel safe ordering from them again. The key reasons are:
My order was not delivered within any reasonable timeframe.
There was zero proactive communication and no apology until I chased them.
I was offered only a refund, with no gesture of goodwill.
A previous order contained a damaged/opened Sample Pack and even then nothing was offered.
Overall, their customer service feels reactive, minimal, and not focused on building long‑term customer relationships.
If I place another order with Bulk Nutrients, what is to stop the exact same thing happening again – money taken, no delivery, no communication, and then me having to spend my time fixing it? At this point, the risk simply isn’t worth it for me.
Because of all this, I cannot recommend Bulk Nutrients. My experience across multiple orders is that their customer service is poor, there is no real accountability when things go wrong, and there is no interest in offering even basic compensation for clear failures. I will be warning friends, and I’m also posting similar feedback on other platforms (such as ProductReview.com.au and my social media) so that other people can see how things are handled when something goes wrong with an order.
Date of experience: February–March 2026
I purchased the sample packs of WPC, hot protein drinks and oats. All are overly sweet with the nasty chemical taste of sucralose. All products are very unpleasant to consume and leave a terrible aftertaste.

Very good product at an excellent price. Realistically I am not sure what people are expecting. 20 years ago, every protein shake tasted like wet cement. These products are comparatively tasty, the price is good and with the WPC and WPI, the protein content is high.
As for people complaining about the specific sweetener in a product, honestly why are you doing a review? You can read the ingredients before you buy it and not buy it.. Giving a 1 star review for that reason is ludicrous. Surely the factors that matter are. Value, Taste, Speed of delivery, Customer Service etc.
It would be like giving a 1 star to coke zero because it uses aspartame, which you already can find out before buying..
Anyway.. for me.. it is no frills and I will happily keep buying from there
Prices are ridiculous.
What set bulk nutrients apart was the price!
Corporate crimminals
Usually collegan and and whey isolate would cost me less then $90including delivery. now its over $130!!!!

Great quality product and I’m consistently impressed with the quick order fulfilment and delivery. Package always turns up with a couple of days from placing order.
I live in Brisbane, QLD. I placed a large order Thursday the 19th @ 8am and received an email confirmation Friday the 20th @ 3pm to say my order had arrived.
Within 32 Hours my parcel had arrived, and just before the weekend!! I was so stoked to have what i needed for the weekend. That's why I'll keep ordering from Bulk Nutrients!! Thanks team, keep up the great work.
Ordered EAA and protein bars and the bars were that melted they were liquid in the packaging. We throw them out. What a waste of money. Pack ya shit better.
We throw them out!!! ⬅️ (to your reply and as above) they looked like a ball sack in a pack when you held them up

Oi so im 32 years old and still a hot mess and ive been living on this meal replacement for years, no complaints, no doctor, etc etc. Im a Happy Lil Guinea Pig needless to say, thank yous <3
Bulk Nutrients is by far the best value for money when it comes to whey protein. Amazing 'mixability', taste and price.
Great products but they lost a star for charging shipping fees even for bulk purchases. Throw in the $9 shipping for $500 worth of supplements you cheapskates haha.
