Waste of time and money
I purchased the protection from BullGuard, but after a week they suddenly cancelled and refunded my payment. I contacted their support, but they had no idea what had happened and why. So frustrating, after spending so much time to wind up with poor customer service and not knowledgable support. Not reliable protection. Don’t waste your time and money

Installing Bullguard on the smartphones…
Installing Bullguard on the smartphones caused problems. I was well served by Bulguard customer service within 24 hours. It finally worked after my account was changed for me, so that the installation became easier for me. Top service!
Customer service is the worst I have…
Customer service is the worst I have ever had. they only chat with you and the chat takes forever to get replies. The tech says they are helping other people so they don't work on your issue they work on multiple issue s at once.

Fixing My Error
I made a stupid mistake when adding my wife's laptop to my existing licence. The Bullguard team went above and beyond to help me sort things out and I am delighted to post this review. Thanks all.

Most of the support members/ agents…
Most of the support members/ agents were technically very skilled who ever supported me to install the BullGuard but they did not realise I was using my email address wrongly and today Claudiu informed me about it. When I checked my email I realised,i was missing from name whenever I logged in.
I am very thankful to Claudiu.
Thank you.
SCAM DO NOT GET
This took up quite a lot of my cpu and I have an i59400F and when I tried to launch Overwatch one of my games it blocked it and I couldn’t play. After looking on multiple YouTube videos there were so many steps and changing files to didn’t it and nothing worked, however I did notice every single video I watched they had bullguard security.
As well as this it was always taking up 100% disc saying it was ‘scanning’ making my pc slower over all. After discovering all of this I went to uninstall and when I did it turned off windows antivirus and left my pc at risk. If I didn’t know what I was doing and had opened my internet browser. I would have no protection whatsoever. After uninstalling my overwatch started working again. This product is terrible don’t download rubbish!!!!!!

Unreliable. Unsecure. Causes DNS leaks. Horrible firewall and customer support
Don’t buy this if you’re using a VPN! BullGuard causes DNS leaks from the VPN, and the only way to prevent the DNS leak is to turn BullGuard firewall off. Complete waste of money!
Their customer support is even worse! I had contact with 3 different people, and only one of them solved my DNS leak by telling me to turn the firewall off. When asked if that wouldn't be unsesure I was told it wouldn’t cause any risk. Complete joke. All 3 employees lacks an understanding of your own program.
Also their response time are really long. I even got disconnected and when I reconnected and got the same guy, he would not reply!
How I know this? Because it said he was typing and then went silent for over 10 minutes. I’m never using BullGuard in my life again! I would only recommend it to my worse enemies!
What’s more pathetic is that there’s no way to whitelist your VPN. Badly made software.

VPN restored with expert help!
My VPN stopped working for some unknown reason. The Bullguard technicians very patiently took me through various processes to see if it could b rectified but to no avail so the advised reinstallation which, touch wood, has worked.
It is reassuring that there are such competent people waiting to assist us when problems occur.
Bullguard has a very good support chat
Bullguard has a chat very good. The people like Mihai G was a excellent support to install the software
The four stars are to indicate how good…
The four stars are to indicate how good the programme is, I've docked one star due to their Customer Service/Complaints dept who were abysmal in sorting out the issues surrounding my recent renewal/upgrade. It took goodness knows how many emails to finally recover a payment after the none arrival of the package I ordered. In the end it cost me less for a better package, but I have a nagging suspicion I still paid over the top (£56.00 for 3year/10 devices). I only found that deal by beginning again on-line, the reminder 'Deals' price was outrageous. The constant reminders when a contract still had a lot of time to run is soft fraud in my book. How about your update reminders stating how long the current contract has left to run BullGuard?
The saga of recovering money I found to be infuriating. They asked for chapter line and verse for the purchase but seemed to take no notice of the claims info I provided. Eventually the refund was made after which the purchase mentioned above loaded fully instead of being stalled at the Initialising stage.
Phew. Glad that's off my chest. The programme, BullGuard itself, does seem to be the real deal, I'd recommend it and believe they have sorted my account issues to make re-ordering it in three years (if I'm stll around!) straightforward.

Ask questions before installing because…
Ask questions before installing because having used anti-virus programs since 1985, I learned to ask questions instead if relying on self-made promises on a glitzy Buy-Me page.
CONS:
To buy just Antivirus for 4 devices is way more expensive than buying the versions with Internet Security plus the pricing on the main .COM site appeared to be in Euro (29,99 $ verses $22.99) so that had to be asked.
First install had 3 error popups. The notice opens for about 4 seconds, and closed, and the 2nd did the same as did the 3rd leaving no time to read, or screen cap any of the errors.
Second re-install was successful. However, system was very slow to the point where opening any program took almost 3 minutes.
Third clean re-install had things running smoothly, but after about 30 minutes, things bogged right down to very slow.
(My rig exceeds min requirements, which was found by a searching the Internet - not the site). Some System Requirements are on Bullguard's web site with the requirements in English, but the rest of the page is German.
I am the one that reads the Privacy Policy, AUP, ToU, and EULA when I can find them. Bullguard's "Privacy Policy & Cookies" and "Legal Terms" are easily found at the bottom of most pages.
"EULA" - Could not find a copy of End User License Agreement.
"Legal Terms" - There are 54 sections stating what "you" must do, can do, may not do, or should do. The document is tough to follow.
Privacy and Cookie Policy (see below under PROS)
PROs:
Easily uninstalled leaving only 9 pieces that were easy to find and remove from the Registry.
Outlook add-on
4 tracing registers
4 "bdSpy" - owner not permitted to remove. Resorted to System Restore.
Text replies from 'support' were quick (turn around time about 1 hour.)
GUI - appeared to be easy to follow and understand. Sames as other AVs but different layout.
"Privacy Policy & Cookies" - indicates that personal data is shared with 3rd parties, which BullGuard is not responsible for. This is usual in most 'policies' everywhere.
Users agree that Bullguard may use outside sources to track users Internet travels, record, and profile user in order to places ads pertinent to the user profile - used to track user, monitor visits, record, and control.
The policy is easy to read, follow, and understand.
[This is under PROS because Bullguard is open about it]
SUMMARY:
I uninstalled this and looking elsewhere. I may come back, fix the 'slow-down' and try again. Maybe.
CONCLUSION:
Read the Privacy and Cookie Policy as well as the "Legal Terms".
Use the trial version first, making sure it will work on your rig alongside all your existing software.
If you bought Malwarebytes, make a decision which it's going to be, or run MB manually when needed, not along side Bullguard.
Shop around, don't go by the main pages as they are billboard ads.
Read through the Bullguard Forums to get a idea of the support services, issues, and how they affect you.
