Effective Protection & Support

Bullguard offers very effective protection, certainly. But their Support also made a favourable impression. I contacted them via chat, and they were patient, unfailingly polite, and 100% successful in solving my annoying problem in no time at all. Recommended!

Very user Friendly

I am not very good with technology and managed to start up a new BullGuard subscription overlapping the one I was trying to renew.
I talked online with Larisa, she was very patient and has sorted it out for me.

Servicable program, shady billing

Program is perfectly servicable, however my subscription auto-renewed 6 weeks before the expiry date without any warning. I'd never agreed to auto-renewal, and the program gave no notification or warning that a payment was about to be taken. After essentially helping themselves to £50 they did give me a refund after I contacted live-chat, but the whole experience left a poor taste.

Good AV but

Good AV but, for a software, it feels like one of those free antiviruses. Would be great if you'd stop with the pop-up ads on PC start, not cool.

Highly Recomended

Not a normal Bullguard user as I have been a Norton fan for many years. I got a free one years subscription of Bullguard Internet Security when I purchased a new laptop. I must say I do not like the desktop interface as it does not look very profesional but looks more like a games front end. But after saying that and using Bullguard for the last eight months I must say is has worked flawlessly and protected my laptop with no problems. It has stopped a Trojan and addaware attack before it got onto my laptop, so i'm very pleased with Bullguard. I definatly with purchase Bullguard when my free subscription runs out.

my Bullguard is going to expire soon so renewal…

my Bullguard is going to expire soon so had a notice that i can get 25% off. Click on renew and it came up at £37 however when i went on Amazon i can get the same thing for £27 or on their on web site it is £28 so where is my discount. Went on line for a chat with a advisor and she told me to use Amazon what good business that is.

We have a recommended price which reflects the value of the product, and this is the price we sell it for through our web shop.

Our Marketing team has implemented a loyalty program that runs automatically, to ensure that loyal customers receive a discount for their renewal purchase. Occasionally, we also have campaigns that are designed to attract new customers which, sometimes, include better discounts (Black Friday is a good example). Our partners may also sell BullGuard with offers of their own, or in bundles with other products.

If we were to set the system to match the lowest price at any given time we would have to change the pricing continuously, probably leaving some customers feeling cheated because the price they bought at yesterday had suddenly been lowered. In addition, it would complicate matters for our partners. We would also not be able to cover our production costs and would end up going out of business.

To compensate for this tricky problem and because we do highly value our customers, we allow existent users and recommend it whenever possible, to renew their subscription using the best offer they can find, online or offline, from us or from our partners.

BullGuard is the best antivirus I've had so far

I am very contented to say the least. Literally zero complaints. Everything works as it should and the staff is really nice. Just spent two hours, or so, stuck on a problem which occured because of my settings that I myself changed and later forgot about it and the employee was really patient and helpful (thanks Alisa).
5/5, highly recommend.

Bullguard have taken money out of my…

Bullguard have taken money out of my bank account for a product that I dont even have I have not dealt with them for many many years and would never do again I have sent them all the info they require concerning this theft from my bank and they still persist in fobbing me off I am now putting the matter to the Fraud department of my bank I will not let them get away with it How many other people do they do this to that just give up because of their rubbish attitude but I wont give up !!!!

I switched to Bullguard Security many…

I switched to Bullguard Security many years ago and I have to say the security the system offers is excellent. Just as important is the Support Centre, which is faultless. Easy to contact, quick response time and, where I recently had an issue that couldn't be resolved quickly, the issue was resolved within a better than expected timeframe.

Bullguard have a disgracefuil disinterest in it's customers

Over the last 2 years, I have found Bullguard software to be very inconsistent, and the software failures have wasted a great deal of my time.

Regrettably, 2 of Bullguard's Customer Service operatives have proved to be completely incompetent.

Bullguard make it impossible to discuss issues with responsible managerial staff, and display no interest in investigating the cause of it's software failures

Bullguard software has proved to be a complete waste of time and money

It has been a month since I first left the review, before Bullguard made a comment.

I have previously sent Bullguard several emails, all of which have been ignored. The Bullguard Customer Service staff who originally became involved, both made quick and incorrect assumptions, and, in view of their disinterest, made inappropriate sarcastic comments to close their messages.

I have cancelled the payment mandate, and will not be renewing my subscription to Bullguard software

only about cost of renewing

I've used Bullguard for years and am happy with it. My negative review relates to the prompts you get to renew. This takes you to a link where, currently you save 20% on the full price, giving you a 'special' offer of about £55. On Bullguard's own website it costs £25. Having just chatted with their customer service I was told that having this link with no suggestion of shopping around (or even going to their own website) was a deliberate company policy. Personally I think that it is unfortunate that the company apparently treats its loyal customers worse than new ones.
