Insufficient and clueless young kids for staff
I can never find a staff member without having to have them called to the isle. AND most of the time they are young kids who know NOTHING. I have even had to walk out of the Box Hill store because the was NOBODY in the store qualified to get a product off the top of the racking in the cleaning goods isle. I find this issue of lack of staff and lack of knowledgable staff in all 5 stores that I frequent - Bayswater, Croydon, Vermont, Box Hill & Ringwood.
Customer service
Wagga Wagga Bunnings customer service was outstanding.
Friendly and professional staff who are motivated and eager to help.
We were in the store for 1 hour and were asked if we needed any help 4 times.
Great staff in wagga store.
Great help from Bunnnings Doncaster
The assistant at Doncaster Bunnings was fantastic. He found the solution to my problem and went way beyond what was expected from him.
Thank you for helping me.

I went to Bunnings Mc Graths Hill and wanted 4 sheets of polycarbinate roofing 3.6 long. A young fellow helped me find sheets and took them out to my truck as well as sourcing 6 pieces of timber 3.6 long which he also loaded. Then took me to register and completed sale. I was out of there in about 15min. Great service but unfortunately didnt get his name

I had a frightening experience at Bunnings when a couple brought in a large dog on a very loose leash. As someone with past trauma around dogs, I felt unsafe and asked the man to keep the dog close. He became aggressive and chased me until I threatened to call the police. I no longer feel safe shopping here and avoid the store now. Bunnings needs stricter dog control for customer safety.
Disgusting and corrupt
Disgusting and corrupt
Bought and cancelled an item from Bunnings 05/07/2025, just under $400.
Recieved confirmation from Bunnings that all items were eventually cancelled.
Afterpay crooks, will not refund any more than $5.67 regardless of providing evidence.
Equally corrupt Bunnings will not refund even though purchased via their website.
Going to Office of Fair Trading and gonna lodge a claim against this dishonest company.
They say they investigate further yet each time I am denied a refund.
On top of that they review negative reviews from their Facebook page.
Even after producing information on cancelled order for $382 purchase. Afterpay, will only refund <$6
Avoid Bunnings Marketplace
Review is of Bunnings Marketplace
The rise in retailers jumping on the drop shipping bandwagon is not in the interests of consumers, and Bunnings is a prime example. If Bunnings chose to create an extra (local) warehouse to house a range of other products that they don’t want in their stores, then ok, but all they are doing is leveraging their marketing collateral to influence people to buy from other online stores and taking a click of the ticket.
Unfortunately they are also leaving themselves open to being in the firing line when things go wrong - and then the power and usually good performance of Bunnings customer service goes out the window.
So don’t get sucked in thinking Bunnings will help you - they are toothless in this environment.
And worst of all, you are left in the hands of the supplier’s (whoever that may be) third party freight contractor, who likewise does not give a flying f***k about upsetting you.
Deal with who you know online, and go to your local Bunnings on Sunday, if you must.
Extremely Disappointed!
Extremely disappointed with the customer support I received from Brierley. Not only was the assistance unhelpful and vague, but I was also wrongly told that I’m not the owner of the account when I absolutely am. The support provided was useless, and to make matters worse, the conversation was abruptly cut off. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Very poor experience.
Had a bad experience with Bunnings
Had a bad experience with Bunnings. Ordered a kitchen bench from them. After weeks I found the order had been cancelled with no notification to myself. They sent me a review request. When I gave a poor review they notified me my review fit not fit their guide lines. They are hopeless. They need competition.
Bunnings you are thieves
Bunnings you are thieves, you make 19 billions per year and your prices are no better than anyone else. that 10% off the same item is b... shit, many of your items are Bunnings brand so finding them is impossible. so why put on that 10% crap, you've killed all small hardware stores, because your don't care, I hope government jumps on you like they did to Coles and Woollies and they will. ASAP WILL BE REAL GOOD. Good bye robbers others hardware stores look good to me.
Bunnings is a very racist store it…
Bunnings is a very racist store it seems. They advertise job positions that clearly state only Aboriginals can apply. While looking online for job vacancies i found one of bunnings that says only Indigenous people. So they are racist towards
Caucasian people now. Why are Aboriginals getting special treatment, why can't anyone interested apply for jobs at bunnings.
The Staff member who identified herself…
The Bunnings Staff member who identified herself as the team leader was obnoxiously rude and entitled.
All I got was what she wasn’t going to do.
It was over me using an app for the power pass card something I have done for years - did the policy change in the last few days?
Clearly some basic training - how to speak without being offensive.
I have emailed my complaint to the corporate office but not expecting a response
Bundaberg store is a dream to shop
Bundaberg store is a dream to shop, very helpful and knowing their products, if more information is needed they call for further help. Staff in the cafeteria are terrific nothing too much trouble.Have shopped here since it opened, renovated two homes with their experience a big help for information, maybe a good attitude to staff is always helpful, that's what l find.

Worst customer service ever.Bought a toolbox trolley that not weigh more than 150 kg.Refused to load it on a trailer with sides of 200mm.Told me to hire a flatbed trailer then they can load it for me.They Did not even suggest any other options.
At the end I told him to give my money back, I will go to some other places that wants to do business.
0/10 review from me.
Bunnings Alexandria
I understand that this store is ginormous, and the staff can't be everywhere every time, so based on that, the service I received from Bunnings Alexandria, was exceptional.
I flagged down a staff member and asked where the item I was after, he showed me exactly where to find it.
I was in and out within 15 minutes.
Outstanding
Well I went to Bunnings after pricing…
Well I went to Bunnings after pricing online the materials I needed. I arrived at Bunnings to find out they didn't stock these item's. Instead I was having to buy premium items, eg. 12mm plywood structural, being at $90 a sheet instead of $56 at mitre 10. Don't shop at Bunnings.
Bunnings Joondalup Cafe
I visited the cafe while my husband was shopping at Bunnings Joondalup this morning. Awful service. First the cake I bought was shoved into my hands while I was still paying for the coffee. Then when I requested a cup tray for the 2 coffees an unfolded tray was chucked my way.
Just picked up a bunch of plants
Just picked up a bunch of plants. Much cheaper than local nurseries and the price point is much better.
