Still waiting on an ETA time for a critical - but very common $8 poly punch tool to be able to run a dripper feed reticulation system. TRADE desk enquiry for an ETA into stock resulted in "you can get... See more

Rude female cashier
Rude female cashier. Spend thousands of dollars at Bunnings per year as a professional builder and all of a sudden a QR scan of a power pass is unacceptable after using it hundreds of times. Do better Burleigh Heads store and your cashiers need an attitude adjustment. Poor customer service.
Never more I will buy online in website Bunnings
I bought a tent online through the Bunnings website, but the tent isn't for camping as advertised, so I requested a refund on April 29th. I'm trying to resolve this with the store that sold it and with Bunnings, but they aren't responding, they aren't resolving the issue, and they want me to deal with my bank regarding a transaction they made!!! How can my bank track a transaction they didn't make? The problem remains unresolved.
BUNNINGS ONLINE DELIVERY FEE IS…
BUNNINGS ONLINE DELIVERY FEE IS RIDICULOUS!
I wanted to order 2 of the same chest of drawers delivered to the SAME address. How is the delivery fee DOUBLE and more expensive than 2 products? Its going to the same address? The chest of draws were $165 each. The total cost (incl delivery) is over $700.
Bunnings, please explain.
Contradictory information from…
Contradictory information from different people in the same store. Really frustrating.
Adam was Helpful
Adam, the plumbing specialist in Bunnings, Bayswater, was very helpful and helped me chose the right equipment to replace my broken pipe and how to install it properly.
Bunnings Springfield
Bunnings Springfield. We found the products we needed because we are regular customers. Long line at only two checkouts open & ALL self serve checkouts closed! Finally when we got to the checkout, poor customer service. Person serving couldn't give a rats with no boxes to put our purchases in. Lack of decent caring staff!!!
They are a near-monopoly
They are a monopoly. So close to being one. Right around Sydney metro, they have stores everywhere. They are now a byword for going to the hardware store. People say going to bunnings, thus. They destroyed BBC hardware and Sunlite Mitre 10 does not even have a fraction of the locations. Places like woolworths that sell a few garden gloves and potting mix are not competitors in any true sense. Australia has allowed this con, this behemoth for too long. So my complaint is there is no real choice in the market
Mernda bunnings paint department no service

Purchased 20 concrete sleepers via special order online a couple weeks ago and have heard nothing at all from them except for a confirmation email. No delivery date, nothing. Called, been into store, called again and no one can tell me where $1200 of product is or when it’ll arrive. Pretty bloody useless.

Very disappointed in our Kaboodle kitchen with the laminate pealing in only 3 years
Recently upgraded my mower to makita
Recently upgraded my mower to makita. Big selling point was extended 5 years warranty. As I am an 80year old pensioner, I was told it was easy online. What rubbish. I only have an old iPhone. So I asked mt gambier Bunnings if they would help me. With all their computers and staff, they said they couldn’t help me. So much for Bunnings great service. I bought a makita hedge trimmer at total tools. They were happy to assist me with my extended warranty. So I think total tools it is. Wherever possible. Try harder Bunnings.
Went to buy some electrical parts and…:)
Went to buy some electrical parts and the shelves are empty that was the second time in 3 days, from 30 /4/2026to 3/05 26 ,plenty of staff walking around doing nothing.
Misleading Stock Availability and No Delivery ETA
I tried to purchase the Char-Griller Premium Flat Iron 4 Burner Griddle Gas BBQ through the Bunnings Warehouse website. At the time of purchase, there was no indication that the product was out of stock.
After placing the order on April 2, 2026, I received a confirmation email stating delivery would take 7–14 days. However, only after I followed up with Bunnings did I discover the item was actually out of stock and on back order.
To date, I still have no ETA on when the product will be available or delivered. This lack of transparency around stock availability and poor communication is very disappointing.
Deliveries are outsourced TO THE…
Deliveries are outsourced TO THE PHILLIPINES and guess what. DYSFUNCTIONAL. I was made to wait at home, 12-4 didn't turn up, rang Bunnings on hold 20mins, we will call you back, they did, low form excuses. It will turn up sometime ? Tomorrow. They expect me to wait all day. As if I've got nothing else to do.. this is what happens when dealing with greedy multi nationals that refuse to use local companies with local Knowledge really poor form Bunnings.
We bought a portable air conditioner.
We bought a portable air conditioner.
We were asking for help, because my husband back is sore. They called for heavy lifting help two persons as they said. It took as to wait 45 to an hour. We moved it by ourselves. They are very inconsiderate.
Thank heavens for Tracey
I visited the Bateman's Bay Bunnings today looking for an electrical item. I finally located a staff member and he informed me that there was no one to help me in the electrical dept as there was not anyone working there today (all Tuesdays??). On my way to the exit another staff member asked is she could help me AND SHE DID! She took the time to check on the website, guided me to the aisle and we found what I was looking for. Well done Tracey. Why couldn't the other staff member given me the time of day and help me instead of brushing me off with "no-nee to help me on Tuesday in the electrical dept". Huge bouquet for Tracey please.
Bunnings Traralgon your prices have…
Bunnings Traralgon your prices have increased to a ridiculous amount and the service has dropped considerably. I can never get anyone at the special orders desk. I wait 45 mins on hold to get service on the phone.
You have people wanting jobs but prefer to have less staff and higher profits.
No consideration for your customer service.
Short staffing is becoming a huge deal. My last three visits have been terrible. Not being able to find staff for assistance.
Another big company that’s is all about the profits!
Good experience
Hi
I asked about a couple of different items being a doorbell and a security device
The man was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience very pleasant.
Unfortunately I didn't get his name
The Bunnings website and app are painful to use...
The Bunnings website and app are appauling. They are interminably slow and frustrating to use. How the company that designed the search engine and hosts the site still have the contract beggers belief. The search engine stuggles to find anything specific and gives a broad list of results that then requires lots of filters. But by doing this you end up losing have the results you actually want. And to do this on the site is very painful as it is so damn slow. I have given up on searches more times than I can count. These issues have been ongoing for years and no one in bunnings managemrnt feels the need to resolve these issues.
I would hazard a guess that Bunnings has no competition on the highstreet. Therefore, there is no incentive to spend money to improve the services.
Can't believe bunnings is rated so…
Can't believe bunnings is rated so poorly when it's an Australian icon!
I've renovated 3 houses now with the help of Bunnings! Where would we be without them?
